DOWN ON THE FARM TRACTOR MINI ALBUM | with Traci

Hey everyone! I have another fun mini album to share with you today that uses the adorable Down on the Farm Collection. This one is shaped like a little green tractor and it's filled with the cutest farm animals and lots of colorful prints!

To make the shaped album, I used the Tractor On The Farm cutting file and cut it out of white and black acrylic. You could easily cut this out of cardstock instead. I covered the front of the tractor in a petite prints linen (limeade) and a few parts in the wood grain (citrus).

I added the cute little farmer from the mini icon stickers, a few heart sprinkles and two red enamel dots for the tires. Oh my goodness, Doodlebug collections inspire such fun projects!

Inside, there 12 pages (6 double-sided) made out of white card stock. I covered each one in a different print from the 6x6 paper pad. Those little patterns are so stinkin' cute!

I've added lots of sweet die cuts from the Odds and Ends to each page, like these little sheep. They're twinsies!

On a few of the pages, I've added sticker words like the "country" in this photo. They're from the This and That sticker sheet.

I love all the pretty flowers on this page! I think the 6x6 smaller patterned paper looks great in the background with the larger die cut flowers on top.

These rectangular mats are perfect for small photos. They're approx. 2.25" x 2.75". And right next to it is the sweetest little pink pig!! He might be my favorite. He looks so proud!

This mini album would be great for cute everyday photos, from a day at the farm, a petting zoo, a farmer's market, a school field trip, a farm themed birthday party or a baby shower.

If you grew up on a farm, live on one now, or just love this sweet farm themed collection ... this would be a great project for your memories.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope this Tractor Mini Album inspires you to create something fun with the Down On The Farm collection.

Down on the Farm | Cut File Cards with Kathy

I recently attended a crop with friends, and decided to make a fun shaped card using one of the new Down on the Farm Cut files which are available at the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop. As soon as I made one, my friends kept asking for more and more, each person picking their favorite animal!  Soon I ended up with a farm yard of shaped cards!  Take a peek...

These files are just so stinking cute!  I used Gingham Linen Petite Prints for these cards, the colors are perfect, and the sentiments are from the Down on the Farm Chit Chat Pack.  Here are some close-ups..

.
This card was made using the Lamb file.  I used an embossing folder to make him appear a bit more fluffy and added some Beetle Back Sprinkles for his eyes.

I've said it before, I'll say it again... ONLY Doodlebug can make a bug cute.  This little fly is no exception.  I used the Flies File and gave him some faceted fly-eyes by using some Beetle Black Jewels

.I just love this little chick in the egg... he's soooo tweet!  (sorry, couldn't resist)  I used the Chicks file for him.

This little pig in the mud puddle just makes me smile.  He was created using the Pig #3 File.

The cow was actually the first card I created with the files.  I love his cute face and the What's Moo sentiment makes me laugh every time I see it!  He was created using the Cow #2 File.
I had such a fun time making these cards!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Udderly Fun Down on the Farm Cards with Kathy

Today I'm excited to be kicking off a couple of weeks of Down on the Farm projects!  I was so happy to get this collection,  the critters, the papers, the colors.... all "udderly" irresistible!  There were so many goodies to choose from I had a hard time narrowing down my selections!  Finally I did, and made these "moovalous" cards!

I laughed out loud when I saw the "Cow's it Going" Chit Chat piece.  I made a fun pop up card using papers from the 6x6 Down on the Farm Papers and the other embellishments are from the Odds & Ends Pieces.

I decorated the front of the card as well, a little more simply to allow the inside to stand out,  using Chit Chats and more papers from the 6x6 pad.

The base of my next card was made from the Down on the Farm Barn Cut file available in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop.  I added this easel piece to the back so that it stands on it's own.

The barn was made from Gingham Linen Petite Prints  I added some doors to the barn, and when you open it up, there is a fun surprise!

The critters are from both the Icon Stickers Sheet and the Mini Icons Stickers.  How adorable is that little fly sticker?  So stinking cute!
My last card showcases a number of the cute Odds and Ends critters (back to my inability to narrow down my choices...)  I had them all say "hi" in their own way using the Chit Chat pieces.

In case you don't speak "farm critter" I added another Chit Chat piece in the inside to translate for you.

Be sure to check back over the next few weeks for more Down on the Farm inspiration.  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!
