Events: Our Two Year Wedding Anniversary

Two years ago today, I was lucky enough to have married my best friend! Brita and I had been together for six years at that time and knew it was time to tie the knot. Today, all the fantastic wedding memories have been coming back and I'm so grateful for that magical day.

Our wedding was not without something Pixar of course, I was able to sneak a little in :)
Below is a slideshow that was played at our wedding. It shows us growing up simultaneously, going through many of the same life events at the same time and then goes into the pictures of us together through our our dating years.

We didn't even meet until we were 15, so it's really crazy how many of our pictures match up so perfectly. The song at the beginning of the show is "We Belong Together" from Toy Story 3, and as you watch, you'll see that we really do! As Ken and Barbie would say, we were made for
each other. Also, one of the pictures is of me at five years old holding my original Woody doll. Shows my life long love for Pixar!

For our honeymoon, we went on a magical Disney Cruise. You can see a slideshow of those pics HERE!

Its been a great day today. Went to a "couples massage", went out to dinner, picked up a bunch of Disney/Pixar shirts at the mall for our presents to each other and watched our full wedding video to relive the times. I also wanted to give a little shout out to my beautiful wife, I love you so incredibly much!

Thanks for reading and your continued support!

Slideshow/Event: Disney World 2011

If you know much about me, you know Disney Wold is one of my favorite places to be EVER. I have so many memories of being there almost every year ever since I was little so it's very magical, classic, and nostalgic when I go there as an adult. It makes me me like a little kid again every time I go.

In November 2011, I got to bring my (now wife, then girlfriend) Brita and we went with my entire immediate family.

Thursday, the 16th, was the day Brita and I got engaged! I proposed to her on the beach at the Polynesian Resort as we were watching the "WISHES!" firework show go off across the lagoon at the Magic Kingdom. We had already planned on being married and she knew a proposal was coming soon but she didn't know it was gonna be that night! She was completely surprised. During the finale, I got on my knee in front of her on the sand and popped the question. Well, she said yes of course and now here we are. Such magical memories!

Anyway, here is a slideshow from that trip where I focus mostly on the Pixar stuff there in the parks but also feature other pics of us enjoying our week.

Some interesting things about the slideshow:
At 1:02- If you don't know this, I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan! I have been ever since I was four and also have a gigantic Star Wars collection in addition to this Pixar one.

At 1:45- Me with the famous black mystery Vinylmation trading box that are found throughout the parks! This trip was my first time getting Vinylmation and it was such a fun part of the week trying to track down all the Toy Story ones. At the trading box, I got the Wheezy Vinylmation which is still the one part of my collection. I was so excited

At 2:37- The night we were engaged.

At 4:01- Me with the Monsters University logo being exited for it over year and a half before its release. Brave wasn't even released yet which seems a while ago now looking back.

Slideshow/Event: Disney Fantasy Cruise Honeymoon 2012

In June 2012, my wife Brita and I were married and went on our Disney Cruise honeymoon! It was the time of our lives. Neither of us had been on a Disney Cruise before and it did not disappoint. It was as fun and magical as you'd expect!

As a Pixar fan, I was thrilled to see how much Pixar was represented there on the ship. There were lots of references and items from the films all over! From the Monsters Inc. "Eye Scream" place to the Finding Nemo themed water area...Pixar was everywhere!

Of course, this isn't a slideshow to document the whole trip (that would be hundreds of pictures:). I made this primarily to show all the Pixar stuff around the ship but included a few shots of us just enjoying the time and scenery of the that incredible week.

Watch additional slideshows under the "slideshows" label to the right.
Enjoy!

Slideshow/Event: California Adventure 2013 (A Bug's Land and Monsters Inc: Mike and Sulley to the Rescue)

Here's another slideshow from our trip to Disney Land and California Adventure this past April 2013! Even though it was meant more for younger kids, we loved A Bug's land! We loved all the detail and how it really captured the feeling of the movie. I loved searching the area for every main character (as there were sculptures placed all around-you'll see in the pictures. The only one that I couldn't find represented was Princess Atta!) and had a surprising fun time on Heimlich's Chew Chew train haha! It's Tough to be a Bug is a classic show we still enjoy and I loved the miniature (or rather full size) ant island while waiting in line there!

The Monsters Inc Ride, Mike and Sulley to the Rescue, was also great fun! I loved how well Pixar was represented there at DCA. It was such an amazing trip...we can't wait for Disney World FL 2014.

Slideshow/Event: California Adventure 2013 (Cars Land)

Here's a slideshow I pit together of our trip to Cars Land this past April 2013. We had such an amazing time there and at all of Disney Land and California Adventure that week. The amount of detail there at Cars Land (like all of the Disney attractions) is incredible and it felt like you were really visiting Radiator Springs straight from Cars!

Slideshow/Event: My Monsters University Birthday Party May 27th 2013

Here is a brief slideshow I made documenting my awesome Monsters University birthday party this past May. Thanks to my spectacular wife Brita and my incredible parents for such an amazing, classic time!
