BNI Abundance Team Bonding

What a hectic day...woke up, attended a BNI meeting, went for training, then switched to greens and went back to camp to Outpro, after which I rushed off to the office to work a little, then made my way down to Rachele's house for our BNI team bonding.

Missed the first wave of food but managed to stay on for the second and games which came after. =)

Bowling w Abundance

Quite possibly one of the busiest weekends I've had , Saturday morning runs, afternoon bowlings and dinner, Sunday Willing Hearts, afternoon chill out and NB dinner.

So Saturday afternoon at about 3pm, I found myself at SAFRA TPY for a game of bowling with the folks at BNI Abundance. I haven't bowled in awhile and it was one of the easier activities to organize.

Bowling was followed by dinner at Penang Seafood Restaurant which serves up some mean eats, such as their signature fried rice, fermented pork, conpoy brocoli and fried beehoon.

Overall an eventful Saturday and I was stuffed by the end of the entire thing. =)

Coffee and Lunch @ Brawn & Brawns

First time bringing the guys from BNI Abundance to check out a cafe, most of their lunches are at coffeeshops with really unhealthy foods such as fried kway teow, chicken cutlet, fried wonton etc.

Though pricier, am glad they actually enjoyed the grub. =)

Lunch at Cafe Pralet

Met up with Desmond and Sheron for lunch today at Tiong Bahru area. Tried Cafe Pralet which was pretty decent. Not the "cafe" I usually go, more like your typical Hans Cafe kind of place.

Decent food though. =)

New Work Cards

Finally, got my second batch of cards after the first design failed miserably. Had to rework the colors a little, thought not the best, it's a lot less ambitious than the first design, and certainly a lot cleaner.

Also, I think a lot more modern compared to the original company card below, people think the cards are older than I am.

Old School Western

Lunch after my morning meeting at BNI, I had no idea that there was a western stall at Lor Ah Soo that also served up thick ham!

Very nostalgic and though sinful, it was a memorable experience. =)

Morning @ Willing Hearts

Cause most of the active members in RD were in Muar for a race, this Sunday's trip to Willing Hearts was represented by just Ray and I.

It was Ray's first time and we thought it'd just be food packing and delivery, but due to the rain, there weren't many people at the soup kitchen and so we got tasked to cook vegetables for the masses...not easy! Stirring a pot meant to feed at least 1,000 or more is a chore on the arms...owww!

Managed to step out for delivery after frying up the first batch though, I think for a first time experience, Ray had quite a blast meeting and greeting folks waiting for their meals to arrive.

All in all an awesome Sunday morning spent.

Jap Curry Luncheon

Met up with the BNI team prior to an appointment and since it was Gabriel's last week with us, we were treated to Japanese Curry at Liang Court.

Not bad! Though, honestly a lot of food, gosh!

BNI Abundance LT & ST Meet

As though Friday meetings aren't enough, the LT and ST teams now meet once a month on Tuesdays to help implement procedures to help the chapter grow, not bad eh?
