Spent Hari Raya Haji morning at Willing Hearts and got the opportunity to handle the wok again, this time serving up vegetables for the packers, 4 sets of this, not easy but pretty rewarding!

Flat Tire Replacement

Had to deal with a flat tire replacement on Saturday under the hot sun, by the time I was done, I was completely drenched!

Last checked, my other replacement was back in April of last year, talk about a refresher training. =P

Whipping Out the Grado SR80s and Creative Xmod

Quite a random entry, I google back and realised I've had the Creative Xmod as early as 2007, yet of recent years I haven't found myself taking time out to appreciate music with it. Mostly I use it as an external sound card these days.

Paired with the Grado Labs SR80s, this thing is still a wonder. It's no "audiophile" certified quality, but it's enough for me. I tend to keep the 3D surround sound off when it comes to music, the X-Fi is all I needed, and with songs that lean towards the more acoustic and vocal side, this thing is a dream to listen to.

It's been awhile, spent about 45 minutes going through a few tracks on my music album and I'm really glad I made this purchase 8 years ago. =)

Art Stage Singapore 2015 - Opening

Been here to set up since Tuesday morning, things were pretty smooth thank goodness.

Opening this evening was a success, and the booth as usual was packed with people walking by and stealing glances to see what was going on.

Overall a tiring but rewarding evening.

Oh and I got to hold a parrot! =P

Happy New Year Everyone! (2015)

Not all gatherings need to be large and loud, last NYE, as a last minute arrangement, I joined some of the NB Runners for dinner and get together in celebration of the end to 2014.

Food, drinks, games, mustaches. It was an really awesome evening, usually I'd prefer turning in early and sleeping through the New Year like every other ordinary day, but 31st December 2014 was a pretty fun evening to remember, thanks guys =)

Lenny Brought a Gift

So it's 4am and I was lying in my bed when I heard Lenny entering the room. He had been outside roaming that evening and I figured he must have been tired from all the wandering.

I didn't bother to acknowledge as I was tired and it...well...it was 4 in the freaking morning.

And then I heard him jump onto my bed, which was normal, so I paid no attention.

Suddenly I heard a struggle and Lenny was jumping all over the bed violently.

"Great another lizard" I thought to myself and got up to turn on the lights.

NOPE. not a lizard.

I quickly carried Lenny who was still torturing the poor fella and locked him in the toilet. I later took the bird out and found a ledge on another house and sat him there, looking half dead.

Checked again this morning and the bird seems to be in better shape, now in a standing position, a little ruffled but alright.

Phew...
