Black Bean Brown Rice

interesting combination
but tasted no big deal
maybe because i steamed the bean in advance ba
next round will try to cook it together with the rice

Red Bean Soup


tak sampai hati to let my Snakie
hav cornflakes for breakfast again
used slow cooker to make some Red Bean Soup
.
before going to bed~
*wash red bean n put into slow cooker
with plenty of water
1 dried orange (桔饼)
1 knot of pandan leaves
*put to Low mode n cook
.
next morning~
* add a few tablespoon of brown sugar
*turn to High mode n cook for a while more
.
steamed some Mantou to pair with it
nyumph!

]
mmm... nice~ extra sweetness!

Blissful Day Dinner

first of all...
must tq Ivan for the ride back
half way walking back home
i decided to drop by the sundry shop
to pick up some simple ingredients
to make a simple dinner
really no mood to eat out
.
so i had these:
steamed tofu
baked bean
with egg skin
spinach soup with lotsa fish balls
simple blissful dinner from ah yan's kitchen
*muakz*
.
a day that i made a lot of new frens
a day tat i feel appreciated

Dinner in a Hurry

with no alternative
i have to dig 6 feet under my kitchen
to make a simple dinner
out of NUTHING
.
stir-fried chinese long cabbage
with garlic + pounded dried shrimp + fish sauce
baked bean with fried egg + chopped onion
ABC soup without meat

dinner prepared in less than 30 minutes

fry with small fire and a lot of oil…
