Basically, my blog is about the tedious life of a bipolar teen selkie who spends her days with her nose in a book. I've always been fond of reading books, but lacked the proper medium of expressing my post-reading feelings. I created The Selkie Reads Stories to point out my opinions about the books and graphic novels that I read. I bury my nose in all kinds of genres, but I tend to lean towards contemporary YA, legal thrillers, fantasy, and historical fiction. My blog is still in it's early stages, but you'll find honest reviews about latest releases, lots of international giveaways, memes, and more in the near future. It would mean a lot to me if you give my blog a chance and check it out! :)

Truth Be Told is an eclectic site that main features young adult book reviews and giveaways. It is run full time by Valorie (myself) and the occasional guest post from my younger sister, Naomi. We often have authors stop by for interviews, guest posts, and even character interviews. While we mainly feature books you can also find the occasional post on beauty, fashion, and life in general. Truth Be Told's favorite books are Contemporary Young Adult, specifically ones with edgy teen issues, and bold, unique, paranormals. Although we do have a soft spot for romantic teen reads. Each review is in depth and will let you know what we loved and didn't love about the book. Stop by to find your next book, we have an easy layout to make choosing a new book to read easy. Thanks!

Hey! I'm Rhys, and I'm one of the few guy YA book bloggers there are. I'm 15, and, of course, love reading! I read pretty much all the books I read, and I cover most genres except for dark/paranormal romance and anything overtly chick lit. Most of the books I read are either from my wonderful school library, the publishers, or I have bought myself. My reviews (I hope!) offer a more macho perspective on new and old books. Enjoy!

My name is Melissa, also known as Mel, Missy, or a dozen other random nicknames thrown into the mix. I started i swim for oceans to talk incessantly about the books I love to read, but that nobody really wanted to hear about. I was lucky enough to find a niche of awesome bloggers who share my passion for YA literature. I read and review all sub-genres of YA literature including contemporary, dystopian, science fiction, paranormal, fantasy, Christian, and more. My blog is an open forum for everyone who shares my passion for the written word, as well as those who are perpetual teenagers at heart!

I read and review YA books of all genres, but my main focus is contemporary YA. I am participating in the Contemp Author Challenge and the 2010 debut Author challenge.

I have been blogging consistently since September, but began the blog in July. I now have a turnout of every other day a review, on off days I will post links to contests, or my Meme called "Arts and Leisure" featuring indie artists who are inspired by good bookish love.
