YA Romantics

I'm a young adult book blogger who loves to read and discuss all things YA. My favorite genres are contemporary and mystery/thriller, but I also read paranormal romance, dystopian and a little bit of fantasy. Come check out my blog, YA Romantics, where I review all the latest YA books to hit the shelves, host giveaways, and connect with other readers. Stop by on Tuesdays for Hot Off the Presses, a rundown of new releases, and on most Fridays for Freebie Friday, which features a fun book-related discussion and giveaway.

I am a frazzled university student and book enthusiast. I always make time for a good book (even when there are impending exams). I love all YA fiction, from fantasy to contemporary, dystopian to historical fiction. I'm a starter, not a finisher, with everything except for books.

My name is Ivan. Currently a Microbiology college student. Despite my love for Science, I like reading fiction especially fantasy. Also some contemporaries sometimes.

Rumpelstiltskin and Co. is a genre-unspecific book blog. It contains book reviews, author interviews, discussion posts and more. Reviews are based on unbiased personal opinion and by weighing the strengths and weaknesses of the literary work.

A Little Shelf of Heaven is a place where I can talk about the books that I read, without getting rolls of the eyes and annoyed glares from my friends for talking about fictional characters. I read pretty much an YA books, but I especially prefer paranormal and contemporary romances or dystopian/utopia novels. I always try and stay positive about the books I read, even if I didn't particularly enjoy it. There is at least one good thing in every story, is what I always say!

Novel Minded

Novel Minded is a book blog geared toward teens and lovers of YA fiction. Some of my favorite genres (types of books I review most often) are: post-apocalyptic, dystopian, comteporary, sci-fi, supernatural, and paranormal fiction. However, I try to read a little bit of everything. I'm always looking for a truly unique read. Normally I don't read romance, or chick-lit; but I'm usually willing to give just about anything a try (except erotica. I won't touch the stuff.) So come on by. I don't bite...much :)

My name is Mary and I review contemporary and dystopian books. I want contemps books to get noticed and for readers to give them a chance. Just because they are realistic doesn't mean they can't be a lot of fun!

Within Pages

As a new blog, I use this as a space to review books and share my thoughts on why or why I did not like a particular book. I also use it as a way to get book news, releases, and more out to the readers! I do read mostly YA books in a variety of genres including fantasy, paranormal, dystopian, contemporary, and more. I may feature the occasional adult book on the site but reviews clearly state age groups, but adult books are not the focus. As a veteran blogger, I have strong ideas for growth with the blog to move into giveaways, blog tours, and author interviews someday!

Hello to all my fellow readers and book-bloggers! My name is Lea, I am a 20-something librarian, and I just recently began my own book blog, called LC's Adventures in Libraryland. Basically, I read and review everything under the category of "YA Fiction," and I REALLY try to include as many different genres under that label as possible-- so, while I love paranormal romance, historical fiction, dystopian, etc. I also try to include contemporary fiction, books by male authors with male protagonists, YA classics by older authors, and more. I keep my reviews as honest as possible (I'm not afraid to give a negative opinion either) and I am definitely looking forward to discussing my YA reads with you in the future!! :) Please feel free to stop by and give me your own opinion-- I look forward to meeting you and getting to know your own favorite YA books :)

Also, just a side note: If you are a librarian, a library student, or are just into librarians (haha) I have another blog based on my profession called Stacking Up: A Blog for the Modern Librarian, where I discuss personal experiences and professional issues about working in libraries. Please visit if this sounds like something you might be interested in!  Thank you, and happy reading!!

My name is Karen and my blog is called YA? Y Not? because Young Adult literature isn't just for teens anymore.  I am relatively new to the blogging world, but am excited about reviewing all of the YA books that I read.  I work in a small library in Wisconsin and often have a hard time recalling every book that I have ever read so this blog will also serve as a book journal for me.  I personally love the Contemporary Lit genre, but am hoping to receive suggestions outside of my little box.  Stop by and check out my blog!

I'm a teen services librarian with the Ocean County Library. I'm also a voracious reader. While doing my Librarian-in-Training in a teen department, I discovered that I love reading YA lit. I love to read realistic, contemporary fiction (the darker the better) or dystopian fiction, but also like to read decent paranormal fiction or lighter, "fun" stuff. This blog is dedicated to all the things I love about my job! During my free time you will find me reading (duh!), baking, or spending time with my daughter and husband. I also have a not-so-subtle obsession with Walt Disney World.
