The Inn at Pound Ridge by Jeans-George

The Inn at Pound Ridge by Jeans-George is a casually elegant restaurant ensconced in the picturesque town of Pound Ridge, New York. Here, Jean‑Georges cultivates a truly seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine, with ingredients sourced from the Hudson Valley and New England, whenever possible. Constructed in 1833 as a residence and serving later as an inn, the building has been painstakingly renovated to preserve as many of the original materials as possible, including four working fireplaces.

Senia

Senia is a neighborhood restaurant with a sense of place, weaving Hawaii’s bounty of ingredients as much as possible into the menu. The name is a play on the word “xenia”, the ancient Greek ideology of hospitality where strangers and friends alike were treated with the same regard.  Located next door to The Pig and the Lady, we made reservations for our last dinner during this trip to Oahu.

Early Mountain Vineyards

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Early Mountain is a pristine 350 acre property surrounded by rolling hills and pastoral farms. In 2016, it was voted the number one tasting room in the nation by USA Today in its 10 Best Readers Choice contest. "Virginia through and through", we visited the tasting room to enjoy a couple flights with lunch with a stunning view of the foothills. The restaurant menu focuses on seasonal produce from local farms and was a lovely way to kick off our celebratory wedding anniversary weekend.
