Apple Salad

Hai friends today i am coming with simple dish"Apple Salad".This is very simple easy and tasty salad.This can be called as side dish too.Actually i am not big fan of eating apples.Sometimes i have stock of apples sitting on my counter top.So one day i got an idea to do this salad with my own dressing recipe.It was a great success.We all love it.Its simple too.Ok lets go to the recipe





Ingredients:

Apples -2
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Olive oil-1 tsp
Balsamic vineger-1/2 tsp
Spicy Dijon Mustard-1 tsp

Preparations:

Clean the apple well with water and then cut into slices as shown in the pic.

Method:

Take a small cup or bowl and add the one by one dijon mustard,salt,pepper,olive oil,balsamic vineger and mix it well.










Take apple slice in the big bowl and add the dressing to the apples and mix it well.





Serve it.

Note:

Instead of spicy Dijon mustard we can use  any spicy sauces.
Instead of balsamic vineger we can use lemon juice.

Beetroot Salad

Hai friends today i am coming with one more salad called Beetroot salad.This is good for side dish.I saw this recipe in TV.This is very easy and tasty.I changed little changes in the recipe.But it tastes great.Ok lets go to the reecipe

Ingredients:

Beet root-2
Garlic chopped-1 tsp
Orange juice-1/4th cup
Olive oil-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Dried oregano little


Preparations:

First peel the skin of the beetroot and cut it into chuncks as shown in the pic.
Take deep bottomed pan add water until the beetroot chunks immerse in the water.
Make it boil as shown in the pic.

 To this add the salt and mix it well.The beetroot chuncks should not be overcooked.
When the beetroot pieces are slighthly cooked immediatly drain them in the colander.



Method:

Take the orange and cut it into half.Squeeze the juice in the cup.To this add the salt,pepper,olive oil and chopped garlic one by one mix it well.








Add the dressing on the beetroot chuncks.Mix it well.

Finally sprinkle some dried or fresh oregano to give extra flavour.

Sweet Corn and Cucumber Salad.

Hai friends how are u guys?Hope u are all doing good.Today i am coming with Sweet corn and cucumber Salad.These days i was busy with guests so couldn't post more recipes.Few days back i did some salads i love it.Want to share with u guys.Those are simple and tasty.This is nice side dish.I really enjoy this salad with grilled fish or chicken.Ok lets go the recipe


Ingredients:

Sweet Corn(Fresh )-2 corns
Cucumber-2
Tomato-1
Onions-1
Salt to taste
Pepper-1/2 tsp
Lemon-1

Preparations:
First place the corn in the oven and cook this for 3 minutes.

After 3 minutes the corn gets cooked.
Peel the corn kernels and keep it aside.
Peel the skin of the cucumber and  place them on the chopper to chop the cucumber.
Press it then the cucumber get chopped.keep this aside.
Same to onion and tomato.


Now all the chopped cucumber,onion and tomato are ready.
Place all the corn,cucumber,onions and tomatoes in the mixing bowl.


Add the fresh squeezed lemon juice,salt and pepper to it.


Mix it well.Serve it fresh.

Note:

We can use both fresh and frozen corn Kernels.
We can use fresh chopped corianders also.
We can boil the corn also.

Soya Bean Salad

Hai friends after many days i am posting the recipe due o bit busy in house work i cant post the repices.Today i come back with healthy recipe.This i got from Gaida recipes.When i saw this recipe i really love it and try this on the same day we all love it.SO want to share with u guys.This soyabeans are frozen .We have to defrost it otherwise u can use canned beans.Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Soya Beans-1 cup
Garlic-2 cloves
Dry rosemary-1/8th tsp
Sal tto taste
Oil-1 tsp
Chopped Parsley-1 tsp
Pepper-little pinch

Preparations:

First remove the cover and defrost the beans pods by adding water and rest it for 2 minutes.
Rmove the pods and save the beans in the cup.

Method:

First take the beans in the cup and add 1 cup of water and salt to it and cook this in the microwave oven for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes the beans get cooked and drain the water and keep it aside.
Now chop the garlic and keep it aside.
Take the pan and add the oil and garlic.Fry this until the garlic is cooked.
To this add the rosemary and drained beans and give a toss.
Now add the salt,pepper,and chopped parsley and again give a toss.
Remove from heat take them in the cup.
Serve this with the roti or any side dish.
