Just for you Treat Box and Card

Good Morning and Happy Thursday to all of you.  I hope that your week has been a good and healthy one and hope that you have had a little time to get in some crafting.   If you didn't stop by our hop on Monday we had a APG Team hop to share the brand new line from Becca called Dimensional Doiles.
Each of us created some amazing things so be sure and stop if you have a chance.

Today i have another new project that i created using another new die set called "Pointed Harmony".    You can use these dies to make doilies of all kinds and like in my little card you can do other things too.  I used the inset piece to cut out the shape as a shadow in the center of the card and then i cut 2 more pieces and trimmed the sides so that i could lay those cute little pieces over the center one.  Then i added that adorable new mini bow from the new set called Petite Double Bow and wah la!!  So cute!

Here you can see how beautiful the dies look when you top a box and add that cute little bow on top of it.  I used 2 layers of the bow to create this little cutie and it was easy to make a 3x3 inch box.  I thought these would be really cute for a Wedding or Mother's Day gift that is coming up soon to put a special something inside.  And if you notice I have added in one of Becca's border dies for the top of the box lid.  This was simple because i just added it over the top edge so that it would blend.

Here is the die set and how it looks when  you get it.  The solid piece you can use for layering. Or you can use that for your doily.

And here is a closeup of the little card that i made.  It only measures about 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches and these are some of my favorite cards to make.  They are perfect to add with those boxes and other little gifty things that you make for your family and friends.  And you can use the centers of most of Becca's dies to create them.

I hope you get the chance to check out all of Becca's new dies HERE<<<<

Thank you for stopping over and be sure and stop by next week for more fun ideas ...

Hugs and Smiles,
Teresa

Happy Birthday Shadowbox gift box

I hope that you all had a chance to hop with us this week to see all the new shadowbox dies from Becca Feeken and also see what amazing things that you can do with them.  There are so many gorgeous ones and again it's always hard to chose which one to use.

Today i picked the 1/2 frame to create one of those beautiful gift card boxes to put a necklace in for a friends birthday coming up.  I also used some brand new papers from Kaisercraft with muted brown grey tones and ivory papers and i think they really set the dies off beautifully.  It was really fun to mix up these prints and embossed papers with all this new die goodness.

For the top of my card i started off with hemstitch rectangles and the layered on top of that one of the new dies called "Shapeabilities Lisette Oval Shadowbox Frame Etched Dies Shadowbox by Beeca Feeken"
This beautiful die set comes with 3 layers of dies and also that pretty decorative piece that i used to tuck in the sides.  Each layer i carefully popped up with 3D foam dots and the stamp is from Penny Black.

For my box base i created a frame the same size as the outside of my card edges.  I cut a piece of card stock to use for the underneath layer of the base and then cut another piece to fold over the top for the card to attach to.  Inside i added the rose paper to line the box and bias tape ribbon to match and also lots of flowers that i made with the new cinch and go flower die.  It's like a box filled with roses :)

These are such a fun way to give a gift card or a special gift for someone.  I can't say enough
good things about all of these new dies.  You are really going to have fun with this!!

Enjoy your Sunday.... Happy Crafting!!

Amazing Paper Grace January Die of the Month Blog Hop

Good morning!!  Like every month, we'll love bringing you inspiration for the Die of the Month; today is our Die of the Month Blog Hop!   This month we have the most elegant of elegant dies that are designed to allow you to cut the die then slip a card into position.

The Lacework Finery Slip-In Card Die has a tiara-like motif that can be used with the corner pieces or without.  If you are looking for a subdued card, why not use the corner pieces only?  All of the pieces are inlaid, you can use them alone or together to get the look you want.

Everyone on the Creative Team has joined in today to give you their spin, in their style.  We hope you'll see something that resonates and inspires you.

If you are new to our blogs, the Die of the Month is an exclusive die Becca has designed for Spellbinders - it is called the Lacework Finery Slip-In Card Die.  This particular set has 10 dies and they can be used to make a background, a slip-in card, or a frame with decorative corners, while the individual dies in the set can be used for many things.  Oh, and to make the set complete, there are flowers!

My Card Today:

I created 2 different projects today to show you that you can do more than just cards if you want.  My pink card uses the sliding method that Becca showed in her You Tube video but i trimmed it down and then added the pink piece over the top to make a double lace front.

This die set also comes with a gorgeous set of 3 flowers so i created 3 of them and added larger stamens and some tiny silk ribbon underneath the center of them.

And of course a few rhinestones and some sparkly glitter just to dust it.

And for this beautiful little gift box i repurposed a small empty tea box with plain paper and then cut out the lace die to fold over the top and cut out the corners to added beautiful detail to the edges. Under the bow is a layer of silver mirror card with a matching blue mat to make it pop.

A little bit of Festive Wrapping

It's getting closer to Christmas  ( only a week away now- yikes) so i am trying to get some things wrapped this weekend and get ahead before we have all of our family get togethers.  Today i am sharing a decorated box i created to put in a special gift that i made.  I started with just a simple white box that you can get from your local craft store and then added some Christmas paper and foil card stock to match my new foil plate from Becca Feeken that i used on the top.

This plate is called "Elegant Circle Glorious Glimmer Hot Foil Classic Plates by Becca Feeken".  It's a beautiful set of 2 plates that can be done together or separate and added for a 3D effect.  I used the two outer plates on white card stock and then added this gorgeous poinsettia and lots of rhinestones.

Here is a quick view of the top with all that glorious glimmer.  It's super easy to do and just a tip for you... let the plate heat up really good and then when you run it through your machine,  go slow and do it 2X.  I like to let it set for a second and then i gently peel off the glimmer.  It's amazing and you will love what you can do with all of these plates for things......

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you all next week!!

Happy Holidays... Teresa

A Ruby Red Christmas

I hope you all love the color red for Christmas because i got a little carried away with creating my gift card pizza box for todays project.  Since i have been using lots of other colors in my projects i have already posted I thought i would get out some red mirror card and create a quick 4x5 pizza box i could cover.  And wow i really love the richness of how this came out.  The poinsettia's that i created to go with it really made it that much more amazing.

Pizza boxes are super easy to create with just an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper and a Scor-pal.  The size of mine is 4x5 and inside I can add some pretty tissue and add a gift card or even a piece of jewelry.
For the basic box i added pieces of mirror card to cover all the sides of my white box and then cut the new "Charming Snowflake Doily in 2 kinds of red mirror card and overlapped them for the top.  The tiny red hearts pop out when you cut it so i used the bottom layer of red pieces to fill in the top red for contrast.  And to make it stay closed i opted to make a simple band in red to attach the doily too.  That way i can add ribbon to the side and it wouldn't interfere with all the textures that i have already on it.

The doily is really pretty and you get a bell and a snowflake charm in this set.
The are so cute!!

This picture really shows off all the details in the die set and also the poinsettia's and the cute little bell charm that comes with this set.  The best part is that it went together really easy and you can make a dozen of them in a night for gifts this year!  How fun would that be?

Thanks so much for stopping by today and be sure and pop over next Sat for another new idea!

Hugs and Smiles..... Teresa

Introducing Amazing Paper Grace - A Charming Christmas | Blog Hop

Tis the season to be jolly!  Even though it is only August, Christmas will be here in the blink of an eye.  I'm sure you are already listing out all the cards and gifts you're gonna make, right?  This year Becca of Amazing Paper Grace has designed a Christmas Collection - A Charming Christmas - for Spellbinders and we have a hop today to show you all the goodies and things we've made.  You can see the entire collection -----> HERE.

About A Charming Christmas Collection
Sweet little charms are so fun to play with, they can be dangled off of gifts, dangled off of cards and used in 3D Projects - they are just like the icing on the cake.  You will see that the "holiday" part of most of the sets in this collection have a Charm to personalize them - they are sized the same so you can mix and match them through your projects!  Here's the big deal: Outside of the charms and embellishments you add to make these dies Christmas, separately they can be used all year-round!! Yep, we're all budget shoppers too and want to get the most use out of a die!

Join us as each Creative Team member shares their creations with two dies from the collection.  Don't forget, each of us will be giving away an Amazing Paper Grace die pulled from the comments - one from each blog. The prize details are at the bottom of my post.  So, without further ado let me talk about the dies I get to introduce:

My Projects Today:

First up is the Charming Snowflake Doily die set

First i want to say i love snowflake anything and this die really is unique in that it also has my second love and that is hearts.  For my card i really wanted to knock it out of the park so i used 3 different kinds of silver papers to create layers and then i offset them to show off each layer.

For my card base i used my favorite backround die hemstitch squares in a subtle grey with blue and silver and added a thin silk ribbon to make it even more festive.  And it was so easy to create too.  You also get 2 adorable charms in this set so i went ahead and used them with my next project that i am sharing with you today.

Second up is the Charming Christmas Words die set

You get 3 sentiments in each set and i used them in bands to create messages on my candy jars and for my card above and below.  You can interchange the outside borders too so these would be great for candles and anything else you want to do in a band type form.

Of course i had to share the top of my hohoho jar... These snowflake dies are amazing!!

And these are my charms included with my snowflake die.  They are so cute..... I would love to make a charm bracelet with all of them!!  Maybe that will be another post soon :)

And wait-- we even have brand new stamps this collection that are perfect for on the front or inside of your cards and also for the other cute dies you will get to see today on our hop....

Aren't these so pretty.  I stamped one out in silver but i can't decide since they are all cute!!

And that's my share today so be sure and hop to all the other girls blogs on the team at the bottom and share a little love and a chance to win.

Happy Wednesday ..... Teresa

It's Graduation time again

We have a graduate in the family next month from UCLA so i thought it would be really nice to make her something special to put a gift card in for her.  I didn't want to just give a card so i used the Mini Gift Card box die set by Becca Feeken and Spellbinders and made it black to go with the silver i used on the card and the embellishments.  I had some Doodlebug tags so i thought they would look cute on a silver and pink base.  The silver cardstock really adds glamour to it I think.

For the sides of my box i used one of the border dies to cut in a pretty design on all the sides.  This is a great way to add details without alot of work.  Becca has lots of these pretty borders that you can see in the Spellbinders.com store.  They are really fun to work with and are some of my favorite go to dies to use on all my cards.

And for the inside of my box i created a little platform to set my card in and then i can add a nice gift card to her favorite store or cash.... I hope she likes it.

Have a really wonderful day and enjoy your Mother's Day weekend!!

Supply List:

Black, Pink and silver card stock papers

A little bit of whimsy

I know that usually i do a post with very victorian styled projects but i do have a totally different side from working at the scrapbook store that i did.  I got to use so many different papers to create displays and one of my favorite lines was Doodlebug.  So having a bunch of those little cuties in front of me i decided to get out my Venise Lace Mini Card/ Booklet Gift Box die and put together a cute gift card box for a friend.  I created this one in white and then cut pieces of patterned paper to decorate the top and sides.  Under the cute little red bird i added a white die cut from the Francesca Label die to make it all pop.  And the cute little buttons and twine on the front just add a fun touch of whimsey to it all.

My favorite part about this die is that i always need a cute little box for something so i can make this in any color or pattern and fill it with fun things to give for gifts.  And i don't have to go out to the store to find one.... love that part so much.

And for my second project we used to make lots of these little paper wrappers for cellophane bags of treats.  They are from a 12x12 piece of paper and you can cut them 4 inches wide or like mine is 4 1/4 so that i can get more of the colors of the prints to stand out.  I just used the Gossamer Knot Ensemble that goes with the box and made a pretty white trellis backround for my Santa and his tree.

And to finish it i punched two holes in the top and tied some Doodlebug twine and added a sticker heart.  And inside is a goodie bag filled with yummy chocolates to give to my friend.  These are great for those little gifts that you want to give to remember those special in your heart!

Thank you so much for stopping over and hope that you Christmas Holidays are going good!

Gift Boxes for Christmas

Today i am sharing a pretty Christmas gift box that i covered made with dies from Becca Feeken's new die set called "Chantilly Paper Lace".  I love to get the most from my dies so today i combined one from the last release and 2 from this new release called Bella Rose Lattice Layering Frame and the Annabelle's Trousseau Layering Frame.  All of them are amazing together but i really had fun creating this sweet box with some of my favorite papers from Maja Designs.

So to make this you will need the Hemstitch Rectangle for the base in blue.  Then cut just the center of the Bella Rose Lattice die for the lighter snowflake layer.  And on top of that i put just that little edging from the Annabelle's Trousseau layering frame.  These gave the layers a lovely contrast and really made the last center stamped piece stand out.  And since i wanted it to be more Christmas themed I added tiny poinsettia's that i die cut in matching paper and inked around the edges.  And of course lots of pretty rhinestones to make it pretty and magical like the season.

The gorgeous stamp is from a new set of Penny Black christmas stamps and was just perfect to match with the delicate snowflakes in the papers.  I just love when things go together so pretty!!  Can't wait to give this one away to someone special.....

Have a very wonderful and crafty day!

Chantilly Paper Lace with Tallulah Frill

Good Morning and thank you so much for stopping by.  Today i have a very fancy and very victorian card set that i created for a friend of mine for her birthday.  I used a brand new Spellbinders Chantilly Paper Lace die for this one called "Tallulah Frill" and wow is it ever the prettiest die set.  I started with the card only but then thought i would see how the die set fits on our box and well ... it does!!

The card i made so that the outside design will be more like lace and didn't mat it on a base card.  I then cut the center in white and the tiniest die in the set i cut and put one on both the top and the bottom to frame it a little more.  And i stamped it in a beautiful navy ink to bring out the blues.

And for my box i really had fun.  I used the basic "Mini card/ booklet gift box" set to make the box and then i layered on the Chantilly Paper Lace "Tallulah Frill layering frame die set with the new "Eliza Lace Corners" on the top under the flowers and on the sides over the blue.  It gave it that special over the top lacy victorian look i wanted and i am sure my friend is going to like it and the gift i have to put inside for her.

All the Chantilly Paper lace dies are so pretty and elegant and so fun to use for all of us so be sure and stop back in the weeks ahead for more inspiration from our design team and of course Becca Feeken herself :)  Wow, what a treat that is for each week for all of us....

Have a really wonderful day and have fun crafting :_

Celebrate your day

It's a gorgeous Monday and i hope you all had a great weekend and maybe got in a little fall crafting for yourselves.  Today i have a fun share using a super cute APG die from Spellbinders.  This one is a mate to the girls shoe i used last week called "Gents shoe" and i thought i would go a little bit more everyday instead of wedding and do a Birthday card and a smart looking gift box with the multi loop bow die to match.  Most guys wear lots of plaid so i used that for my starting inspiration and then added some fun colors to match from the Simple Stories paper set that i had in my stash for all the other pieces.

The shoes were super easy to make and after rummaging around a little bit,  i found some blue floss in my stash to tie them with.  To make my way too cute shoes pop more i rested them on a piece of orange paper that i cut from the Hemstitch Rectangles die set and then also cut an ivory piece to stamp on my "Celebrate" sentiment on.  This is from a super cute Happy Birthday set from Quietfire Design and has lots of other adorable Birthday sentiments you can use for everyday cards and such.

And if you haven't picked up the Multi Loop Bow die you really need to grab one before they are gone.  I love this die because i can make cute bows out of anything i have to match my projects and they are super easy to do.  I made 4 loops of each of the 3 sizes for my bow and then cut a few of the ribbon ties for the base.  It went to together in all of about 10 mins so that is really nice!!

Thank you so much for stopping over today and be sure and leave a comment so i can stop over and visit you too :)

Supply List:

Paper: Simple Stories Rad 6x6 paper pad
Inks: Archival Ink in Sepia, Versa Magic Chalk ink in Gingerbread
Blue Scrappers Floss for the shoestrings

Thank you for stopping over and have a really wonderful week!!
