RRR Blog Hop- Crazy for Christmas

Hi Everyone and welcome to the October Blog hop with RRR.  We have a
fun hop for you this month to get started on Christmas with our new ribbon
assortment called "Crazy for Christmas".  It's gorgeous and there are so many pretty
ribbons you are going to have lots of fun this year making special homemade things
for your family and friends to give and decorate....

So if you started the hop at the beginning you would be arriving here from
Karen's blog....  and---- i guess it's time to get started then :)

This project is for me to give to my niece this year so that she can count down the days
until Christmas.  She is almost 3 years old and i think she will have fun and make it
really exciting for her.  For my papers i started with Basic Grey's Christmas line to make
a simple layered base for the back and added ribbon to make bands across
the front and ribbon bows in green for the top to decorate it more.  Ribbon always seems
to make the project that much better doesn't it? And the colors this time are so bright
and cheerful and matched so many of the papers i had it was super easy to make this.

For the stickers i found this Santa at Hobby Lobby and the wood veneer letters
are from Ruby Rock-it.  There were lots so it was simple to write out the whole message.

And here is a closeup of the bows that i did for the top.  I mixed two greens for it.
The bottom is the green satin and the top is a mixed sheer in green.

And now it's time for you to hop on to the next designer... Jenn

Thanks so much as always for stopping over and i always appreciate
the nice comments you leave and your love of ribbon like me!!

Have a really wonderful day :)

Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop for September

It's time again for a fun peek into Halloween this year with all the girls from the RRR Design Team today.  I have a cute little book that i made up for this year to put some fun photos of our adventures.

So if you are following the hop than you should have arrived from "Karen's blog"....
and now we can get started on my project for today

I dug deep in my stash for a few things to create this little book with these stickers
with Linus from the Great Pumpkin show.  I used papers from a We R  6x6 paper pad and
decorated each page to add photos in.  It's alot of different bits and pieces but the ribbons
from the "Ribbon Club Assortment" really set it off on the side.

Here is a quick closeup of the clock and the stickers.

And here is a photo of the ribbons that we have this month!

All of them were so fun to use and I know that you will find lots
of fun candy wraps and boxes to use your extra ribbons up too...

Be sure and hop on over to "Jenn's blog" to see what she did and i hope
you get lots of fun ideas from our hop this month to do for your family!

RRR Blog Hop gettin ready for fall...

It's time again for our blog hope with Really Reasonable Ribbon and another gorgeous ribbon set this month that you can get started with all your fall projects.  It has gorgeous shades of orange, green, gold and browns and the perfect laces to match.  I decided to use a few wooden things i found in my stash to make up some new decorations for my house.  It was super fun and went pretty quick.

Along time ago in the Scrapbook store i worked at we got this fun product in called Deco Art Metallic Lustre and we had a go with it on all kinds of things.  One of them was wood so i had this idea to mix the greens and the orange and see what happens.  And this is it.  It's an easy product to use because all you need to do is sand the wood really good and then rub it on with an old t-shirt or something soft.  I did the green layer first and then the orange in a few places.

Here is a closer view of the frame.  I used lots of ribbons, greenery that i cut from
a Spellbinders die and some other fall things i had in my stash.  The fall quote i found
online and thought it looked really good with my $1.50 wood frame.  The outside
frame is Spellbinders Mystical Embrace and the paper is from Basic Grey.

And here is my little birdhouse to got with it.  These are my mother in laws
favorite colors and i think i was channeling something special for her.  I hope
that she is smiling from heaven at what i did :)  Sure miss her alot.

Other things i used for this are: Sandpaper, Stencil for the Birdhouse roof, Glass
bead glitter gel and Beacon 3 in 1 adhesive.  I really love that glue, it really sticks.

Here is the order of our hop this month and if you just started be sure and
go back to the RRR Blog and check out all the other fun things that everyone is
sharing for you this month.  And here is the link for the new

Thanks so much for stopping over and have a wonderful weekend!!

It's time for the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop....

Hi all you ribbon lovers out there...it's time for another fun hop for July with
all of our designers on the RRR Crew.  Today we have lots of fun ideas to share
and i hope that all of you will get a little inspired and make something fun.

So if you started at the beginning on RRR Blog hop--- you should
be arriving from Karen's blog here....

And my project that i am sharing is a piano notebook that you can use
as a journal or whatever else you might need to jot down to keep.

I love this months ribbons because they pretty much go with everything.
I used them to tie on the side for bookmarks.. super easy...

And i had enough paper to make a quick card too.  I use the sheer black
ribbon to make up a bow and added a pretty rhinestone in the center.
The paper comes with the border on it and i trimmed the bottom to give
it a little more pizazz.  For the sentiment i stamped it in black and
cut it out with a Spellbinders oval.  It was super easy and quick!

Thanks so much for stopping over and it's time to hop on over to
Jenn's Blog and see what she has to share this month....

Happy Crafting everyone :)

It's time for the RRR Blog hop for June

Hi everyone and happy Saturday to all of you.... it's time for another fun hop
with all the girls from the RRR design team and this month we are creating
our projects for you with a Summer Brights theme.

Since the weather is getting warmer and we can get our barbecue's out I
decided to go with fun decorations that you could do for a luau.

If you started the hop at the beginning you should have come here
by way of the amazing Karen Letchworth ....

This was alot of fun with all these beautiful bright ribbons and i created a fun invite,
table name tags, sunshine drink glasses, crabby straws and some cute little flip flops
for the kids. All the ribbons are from the new Monthly Ribbon Club Assortment and
the papers that i used are from Doodlebugs new summer line called Sunkissed.

The dies for this are from the Spellbinders Inspire dies.  I used the Crabby die,
the Paradise Palms and the Western Sunshine die sets.

And for this cute little crabby card with the jute string tie i used another
Spellbinders die called Labels 22.  All these colors really make you want to smile :)
Now i guess i will have to schedule in a fun barbecue to use all of it.

And now it's time to hope again to Jenn's blog to see what magic
she has created for all of you....

and if you didn't start at the beginning then you can start here....

It's a Patriotic Blog Hop for RRR this month...

It's that time of the month again for our RRR Blog hop and it's going to be fun!
The colors and ribbons for this month are so fun, bright and easy to use.
But i have lots to share today so we better get started ...

But first...If you started at the beginning of the hop then you should have
arrived from Karens Blog and wow what a cute project she made....

My first project is decorating this lantern that i picked up.  We love to stay out
late in the summer and barbecue and have candles lit for extra light.  So to start
i wanted to do a little something fun for the candle too so i found
this tall white candle taper to fit inside and wrapped thin natural twine around it
and added a few stars with die cut papers to make it more patriotic looking.

Here is  a better close-up of the candle and i also made a quick banner with all
the ribbons and a simple cut out banner that i bought and made a mat of blue
to match the ribbons for the back of it.  I love all the bright prints and colors of this!

And for the top ribbons on the lantern i tied a big huge bow with the
wire edge natural ribbon and then layered on both the
red diamond satin ribbon and the bright blue check
ribbon to make it kind of country backyard barbecue styled.

And what barbecue is complete without lots of friends over to enjoy all the good
things that you make, so i created this invite to send out to our friends.  It's made with
the new 6x6 Doodlebug patriotic picnic pad and stickers.  The colors of this were a
perfect match with all the ribbons and it had the cutest things to use for it.

And yep... sometimes i just get carried away with inspiration and just have fun
so i also made this cute little patriotic bird and covered another candle for a
decoration on another table that i have.  For the candle i used paper to cover
the outside first and then added another layer of red jute ribbon over it.  Then I
tied some ivory jute string several times and tied it in a pretty bow.  The stars are
from the sticker sheet but you could also punch them out if you want to do lots
more to decorate other things at your party.

For this card i just layered all the pretty papers and matted them with white
to created a definition between all the layers.  Under the eagle sticker i used
a Spellbinders star die in both red and white to put him on.   I used red jute string
on the bow and finished it with a cute vintage button from my stash.  I really love
this one alot.  And it was super easy to do too.

And here is a share and the link to the new ribbon club assortment...

And now it's time to hop on over to Jenn's blog to see what is new and
inspiring from her.  Be sure and leave a comment for a chance to win
some of these beautiful ribbons for you.  I am going to share part of
my stash so that you can have some fun :)

Big Hugs and Smiles...Teresa

it's time for our RRR Blog Hop....

It's time for our RRR Blog Hop today and this month we have a beautiful ribbon
assortment to use.  It's filled with gorgeous aqua's and peachy pinks so you will
love all the things our team has done with it to share.

April Ribbon Club Assortment

So if you started on the hop from the beginning here then you should
have hopped over from Heathers blog......

For my challenge project today i decided to look ahead to summer and create
a fun little mini book filled with lots of folds and pockets that i can put my
vacation pictures in.  I love having a few types of these books so i can be ready when
i get all my photos done and put them inside of it.  The papers i used
for this are from My Minds Eye and i also used the wood pieces and the stickers
that came with the set.  I really like the colors and patterns on this one.

To make this book you just need some 12x12 card stock- and cut it in half to make
it 6x6 when you fold it.  The back is started with a criss cross and then i added
envelopes and other papers to make pockets.  I used bits of ribbon to create the
brightly colored borders on it and decorate each of the pages.  I also used a sheet
of Basic Grey adhesive letters and stickers that went with it perfectly.

On this one you can see the polka dot gross grain in the set.

Here you can get more of an idea of how the basic book looks.  On the
tan paper sides with arrows i cut pockets for travel goodies and photos and
then used a pretty piece of checkerboard satin ribbon to decorate each of them.  I also
added a few photo chipboard pieces and adhesive words i wanted.

This page has the cutest red travel paper and i thought that a piece
of ivory crochet lace would look really good on it- so i glued it to the side
and added another of the photo boxes to fill in later.  There is so many
more pages but it's good to get you inspired to do your own for the summer
and get ahead.  Can't wait to go on a new adventure......

And....Now it's time for you to hop on over to Jenn's blog for
another cute idea to use the new April ribbon club collection .
I am sure she has something amazing to share with all of you.

Have a wonderful and crafty day.... Teresa

RRR Blog Hop for March

Hi Everyone it's the middle of March already and were are geared up here
waiting for the flowers of spring to pop up everywhere with a fun blog
hop for you all.  I decided to create a pretty photo board with this piece of
wood that i got at my local scrapbook store and some flowers.  It's super
quick and easy and you can put any photos on it after the holiday too!

If you just started on the hop be sure and go back to the
RRR blog and start there otherwise you should be coming from

So my projects that i am sharing with the amazing Ribbon Club Assortment
this month and a few of my favorites are a Spring Photo stand and a pretty
decorative box to put out or give a little something special to someone in.
I found the photo stand at HL and painted it white first then sanded it and put
and then painted it again.  Then i found this pretty printed kraft paper and made
a pattern and cut it out.  Then i glued it on the front.  Then i added lots of flowers,
greenery and ribbons with a hot glue gun.  I used the turquoise, purple and
light blue ribbons in the set.  Oh and i tucked in a few WOC leaves to
fill in just a little bit more. It came out nice and bright and now i can add a fun
photo from Easter or something fun to remember and share for spring.

Here is a closeup of the flowers and ribbons that i put in it.

And because i hate storing scraps of paper i had a small chipboard
box so i just cut small squares to fit the sides and top and i also inked
around all the papers with gingerbread chalk in from Tsukineko.

And I used Cream Mesh Ribbon to tie the bow and then added
some Natural Burlap string and Arianna natural crochet lace around the
top.  And i had some pretty ivory flowers and tiny babies breath that i
tucked in under the flowers to finish it.

So off you go now to Jenn's blog to see what incredible
project she has to share with you this month....

Thank you so much for stopping over and hope that
everyone inspires you to create something fun to celebrate spring!

It's time for the RRR Blog hop for February

It's already February can you believe it and time for our RRR blog hop.
This month we have such fun colors to use with our Monthly Ribbon
Assortment and i had a wonderful idea to create a special recipe box.

If you started our hop from the beginning you should have
hopped on over from Heather's  blog....

and now it's my turn so let's get started for my share today...

Sometimes for me it's the paper that really gets me inspired and this
paper pack from Heartfelt creations really made this work i think.
All the papers were beautiful spring colors and the patterns were amazing
to work with my spring idea using all the flowers with a birdcage I die cut.

I used lots of the Wild Orchid Gardenias mixed in with a few roses and just a few
of the WOC Sweetheart blossoms in white.  Then i just added some purple seam binding
ribbon that i sprayed and scrunched with water and some leaves and stamens. I love
all these colors together and it really makes it bright and cheerful.

The box was really nice and i got that from my local craft store and it had the
recipe card spacers in it already so that part was really easy to do.  I just
covered each of them with different papers and then used ribbons from
the Feb Ribbon Assortment to tie around each of them. And wha laaa!!
Done and ready to fill with yummy things to cook or give as a present,
I really haven't decided yet what i want to do with it yet.

If you haven't seen it already here is the February Ribbon Assortment.
The colors are really fun to work with and you will see lots of fun ideas
this month from all of us on the blog using them so be sure and check it out.

Thanks so much for stopping over and the next person on the hop for
you to go and visit is the amazing Jenn Cochran ....

Have a really wonderful day!

Welcome everyone and thank you for hopping with us at RRR at this
busy time of year.  Today we are sharing with you all a
beautiful set of ribbon club assortment called Winter Wonderland
and they are filled with beautiful styles in blues silvers and whites.
I had so much fun using them this month i went a little overboard
and i used some of the things in my stash so now i can get some
new things to start the new year off to create! How fun is that :)

So for my project i am sharing a wooden reindeer that i picked up
from the hobby store and i painted with white American multi surface paint
from Deco Arts.  I cut apart silver snowflakes to decorate his body and
i created a gorgeous ring with all the ribbons from the club assortment
to adorn his neck with.  I also glued some clear superfine glitter on his
head and legs to go with the sparkle of the ribbons.

For the mini wooden joy banner i used christmas papers from My Minds Eye to
cover the wooden banner and then joined all the pieces with beautiful ribbons
in blues, silvers and reds to match it.  I used these ribbons in the set:

Here is a closeup of the ribbons that i used on it. Aren't they so pretty?
