Hello my friends!!!

I got an email yesterday that made me scream and do the happy dance!!!
It was from Sam & Sandra from my favorite Purple Pumpkin!!!

I MADE IT TO THE DESIGN TEAM!!WOOHOO!!!
Check out the announcement --> HERE
Thank you ladies so much for the honor!!!

If you follow my blog, I am sure you have realized my love and addiction to Purple Pumpkin! I use them every chance I get! I 1st saw them on the layouts of a few favorite scrappers of mine Melinda & Belinda! I fell in love! I was disappointed because they are based in Australia but when I asked them about the shipping cost, I was pleasantly surprised!!! They are so cheap!! Check out their store --->HERE
They load their store every month on a specific date and time so keep an eye for that on their blog!
They also have monthly challenges with very inspiring sketches that give you the chance to win some yummy goodies!!!

Here are some old layouts where I've used PP products!

I got grungy!!! *Scrap for Help*

Hello friends and followers!

Today I will share with you a special project!
This is the first time I tried the style called "Grungy"...I got my hands dirty!!!
As you might know, I usually make romantic, girly layouts filled with flowers and dreamy mood...
Well, with my mood hitting red during last month and growing stronger inside, through various, complicated situations, I got inspired and made this grungy composition. I just let my emotions go free all over the page..anger, passion,despair....sweetness...love...
I really enjoyed it, I love the result...I hope you like it too...it is made by my heart and soul and that's what matters the most...

p.s the quality of the dog's photo is not so good but I will replace it as soon as I buy better photo paper (Cannon-I was out and had to use HP) And of course I should mention that I was also inspired by the very talented Finnabair!

This layout is my example as a design team member for the challenge blog "Scrap For Help"!
This time, as a recycle item, I used surgery bandage (it's placed behind the photo), a bottle cap and a beer tin cap!

Don't you just love that cute little puppy????

Some close up photos...

To accomplish this look, you paint your chip. letters with black acrylic paint, you apply a thick portion of crackle accents. When it is dry and you can see the crackles, you paint it all red and wipe off right away with a baby wipe! The red color goes inside the crackles and...voila...magic happens!
After that, you cover with glossy accents.

The vinyl cog  and heart are "Purple Pumpkin"

The button with the mushroom is by "Eye candy magic"

The chip cog is Imaginarium designs and the red button is Purple pumpkin

This piece of paper comes from Cherry Nest and it gives the definition of a dog (like in a vocabulary).
Now...the initials "GLAC" is something I could never translate..I'm sorry...lol

Another ID cog!

For more inspiration on how to incorporate surgical bandage into your projects, please visit Scrap for help to see what my fellow DT members have created!!!

Materials used:
cardstock: Alissiane
Chip letters: Sizzix die
chip cogs: Imaginarium designs
Vinyl elements and red button: Purple pumpkin
Mushroom button: "Eye candy magic"
Brick mask: Prima & Tim Holtz
Gesso: Ranger
Distress ink: Ranger
Stamps: Glitz

Thanks for stopping by!!!
Enjoy Scrapping!!!
Hugsss!!!

Moments in time, *Once Upon A..Sketch*

**HAPPY NEW YEAR** everyone! I wish you all a happy, creative and healthy 2012.

I was away for the holidays so this is a late post. Sorry for that!

January 1st Challenge

Journalling Criteria/themeNew Years Eve!

Our theme this time is New year's Eve. We would like you to journal about your feelings around this time of year, or tell us about your most memorable New Year's Eve. Where were you? Who were you with? What did you do? Why is this one memorable? Note: the photo that you use for this challenge does not have to necessarily be from New Years Eve. For example, if you spent New Years Eve with your family you can have a photo of your family taken ANY time of the year.
Remember that you are allowed to also create a card or altered project based on this sketch and instead of the journalling criteria you need to use a quote.

You must combine our journalling criteria/theme with this sketch.

This is my take! We usually spend new year's eve having family dinner!

This is "Imaginarium Designs" chipboard which I have painted with various aclylic paints, I heat embossed the numbers with distress powder and I added crackle accents on top!

For the title I used ID phrase and a small house..

Here I have used ID Frame and numbers.

And some yummy "Purple Pumpkin"...

List of products:
Patterned paper, Die cuts, chipboard stickers: My Minds Eye
Red flowers: Prima
Other flowers, white doily and buttons : Purple Pumpkin

Hello my friends!!!

A new week begins and a new word is up at "Bird is the Word"......

"ADORE"

I made this layout at a Greek crop, surrounded by FANTASTIC people which I LOVE...As I told you in my last post, it is amazing how many good friends I have made through scrapbooking! I really feel blessed!!! So many things have changed for me! I admit that it is tiring to catch up with all my scrapping obligations but I am going to work on that because the point is to have fun right?....
Anyway...here is my sweetheart Ioli...just one smile from her is enough to erase any problems!!!
I ADORE her!!!

Don't you love that Purple Pumpkin button??? The beautiful glimmer mist is TA "Bahama blue" and "Starfish"

This is the flower I made at the crop following Zeffy's advice!!!
Thanks Zeffy!
The button and doily are Purple Pumpkin..can you tell I love them yet?

This chipboard heart is "Sfragidomania"

And of course...my latest addiction the SEW EASY!!! I use it in every layout lately!
I have also added some stickles!

For more inspiration please take a look at BITW blog and she the fantastic layouts the rest of the DT made using the word "Adore"!!! You could be the lucky winner of a whole yummy "Tidbitz in time" kit!!!
