To Scraps 'n Pieces μας έστειλε πάνινες τσαντούλες ωστε να κάνουμε ένα mixed media tutorial!!

Λοιπόν, η αλήθεια είναι πως δεν είχα ιδέα τι ήθελα να φτιάξω και που θα καταλήξω. Δεν είχα φτιάξει ποτέ κάτι αντίστοιχο αλλά όπως και να έχει, μια καλή αρχή είναι οι σφραγίδες...

Στη συνέχεια, διάλεξα ένα μεγάλο στένσιλ 30x30 και πέρασα απο πάνω πάστα μοντελισμού με μια παλιά κάρτα...

Επόμενο βήμα τα αγαπημένα μου spray!! Διάλεξα διάφορα χρώματα για να γίνει πολύχρωμο και χαρούμενο!

Αυτό είναι το αποτέλεσμα μετά τα spray....

Επόμενο βήμα ήταν να προσθέσω γράμματα ή αριθμούς αλλά οι σφραγίδες δεν αποτυπώνονται και τόσο καλά πάνω στο ύφασμα οπότε σκέφτηκα να χρησιμοποιήσω στενσιλ και ακρυλικές μπογιές. Φροντίστε να έχει στεγνώσει καλά το ύφασμα αλλιώς θα την πατήσετε όπως κι εγώ και θα απλώσει η μπογιά....

Πρόσθεσα παντού κύκλους σε διάφορα μεγέθη χρησιμοποιώντας καπάκια, μπολάκια, ρολό απο χαρτί υγείας και ότι γενικά έχετε σπίτι σας...

Στο κάτω μέρος της τσάντας, σφράγησα λουλουδάκια και επειδή γενικότερα σε αυτό το project άφησα τον εαυτό μου ελεύθερο, έβαλα ως τίτλο "FREEDOM"....

Και αυτό είναι το τελικό αποτέλεσμα...

Cute little mixed media houses!!

Hello dear friends!!

I just LOOOOVE cute little houses!!! These two are my 1st attempts to make some and I really enjoyed the procedure!!!

This one was made to decorate my daughter's school box. They use it to put their crafts inside. 

"House for Ioli's box"

So, a quick how to process:

• Glue with decoupage glue scraps of paper. Green at the bottom and blue on top.
• Use acrylic paint randomly (green & blue) and mostly on the edges of each cut piece of paper for shading.
• Get your stamps and go crazy ;)
• Use stensils and modeling paste to add texture,
• cut out paper pieces to create your house and then use paint or markers for shading
• Use some rub-ons randomly to decorate
• last but not least, use black & white ball pens to highlight.

This is another little house which was made very plainly and quickly and was mostly done by my daughter under my guidance of course. It was for a school homework and it is more like an art journal page because it's made inside her school notebook :) The title is handwritten by her and it says "ΣΧΟΛΕΙΟ" which means "school".

Mixed media door hanger!

Hello dear friends!

Today I will share with you the mixed media door hanger that I made for my two daughter's room!

"N" stands for Nefeli and "I" for Ioli (their ancient Greek names).

"Door hanger"

The base is a thick box cardboard that I cut out of a package box. I covered it it all with gesso, then I applied some modeling paste using some stensils, I sprayed several colors (dylusions) together with some water, I glued a few pieces of paper, did a lot of random stamping and in the end some doodling with black and white ball pens!!

The letters are out of wood from Artemio.

ATCs for Scrapiniec!!xo

 Hello from Greece,

Today I would like to share with you two ATCs which are quite big. They are two pieces of chipboard actually which I have misted, inked and stamped on. I have used stencils and masks to achieve this look. The scrapiniec chipboard pieces were painted white and then heat embossed with a glittery embossing powder!! A small tip is to always put some dark ink around the edges of your card/atc and always use a bold color for your chipboard in order to make them stand out!

Christmas is near - Scrapmatts

Hello my dear friends!!! Here is a little box that I made in order to put a Christmas gift inside!!

I Have painted the chipboard tree gold and spread some green paint randomly with my finger above it! I have also used two pieces of Christmas words!!

 And Here is a door hanger for decoration!! I have used the reindeer which was painted gold and then I added some red stickles and the tree was painted green with distress stain, after that I covered it with stickles and added some red stickles to look like ornaments! I have also used the Christmas word "I believe"!!!

I hope you give it a go and make your own gifts and decorations using Scrapmatts Christmas collection!!!

"On stage" - Scrapmatts

Hello my friends!!
I've been so busy lately and didn't have time to post..pfff...

I made this layout for Scrapmatts using their GORGEOUS chipboard! We were asked to make a monochromatic layout so I chose hmmm...teal/turqoise/blue from the photos!! I love these colors! SOOO fresh!!

My DD Nefeli had a role at the kindergarten's play of "Paplomatou" a fairytale that I don't know of the English title...

"On Stage"

For this layout I have used CB6011 Ornate frame, CB5101 Flags02, CB1198 Words06, CB5021 shapes 07.

To paint the banner and the star I used white texture effect by Martha Stuart and mists! The frame was covered with gesso and then mists!

And my altered project for this month is a frame which looked like this...

And turned into this:

To paint the title, cage and butterfly I used:

And for the crackle effect I used Martha Stewart weather crackle.
