"Snow Angels" - Green Tara & Studio75 GDT

Attention!!! LONG post!! haha

"I Love Snow Angels"

Hello my dear friends!

This is a layout I made using the sketch from Once upon a sketch challenge blog.
It's my little one making snow angels for the 1st time!
She LOVED it so much!!!!

I have played with two different stencils, glimmer mist & modeling paste!
Oh, I did some random stamping too!
The papers are Studio 75 "Winter time" from Poland where I am a guest designer and the chipboard pieces from Scrapmatts!

Here are some close ups!!!

I have used so many Green Tara products, from flowers to ribbon & lace...

One of my favorite laces to use is the one with the flowers because you can cut them off and use them separately!!! I also love the diamante trim because it allows you to do the same!!

Below you can see a layered cluster with the amazing
wild rose, primula and pincushion flowers!!!

Bud & bow trim is perfect to make borders and the lace flowers are so romantic!!!

The polka dot ribbon is soooo yummy!!!!

My journaling...and a close up to the modeling paste and the wonderful Scrapmatts heart!!!

Amazing Scrapmatts wings!!!

materials used:
Papers: Studio 75
flowers,ribbon,lace: Green Tara
Chipboard: Scrapmatts
bling & pearls: Prima
Stencil: The Crafter's workshop & Prima
Stamps: Glitz
Glitter glue: Ranger stickles
Ink: distress ink, distress stain by Ranger

*****

And here is a recipe book I made for a friend to give as a gift!!!
Isn't it a great idea???
The papers are again Studio 75 "Sweet home"!!!
 Perfect for such a project!!!

I have used the wild rose, some lace flowers, the flower lace trim,
some roses, leaves and an apple blossom.
For the trace of the butterfly I used a pink pearl trim!

This is the first page! All papers are Studio 75 "Sweet home" collection!

Sorry for the long post...at least I hope you enjoyed it ;)

Have a great day and thank you for visiting!!!

"Checklist" - OUAS & CSI challenges

Hello again!

I decided to combine two GREAT challenges  which happen to work really good together at the moment!
I love these two challenge blogs because they urge you to do some journaling on your pages which I think is very important to scrapbooking! It is all about preserving our memories and the story behind the photos right???
So I am using sweet Nadia's sketch from "Once Upon A Sketch" and the theme "Summer".

And I am using the colors from "CSI"

CSI
Color: I have used all of the colors plus a little orange which does not cover more than 10% of my layout.
Evidence:
  • wood/woodgrain (wooden ice cream & heart)
  • liquid medium (paint, mist, etc.)
  • distressing
  • Use repetition of an element.(circles,flowers, pom-pom,stamps)
  • circles
  • Use a solid background
  • Include parallel lines (The pom-pom trims).
Testimony:
  • Document a vacation.
  • Inspiration Words: vacation -- use these as inspiration for your journaling
And this is my take!
It is my DD Nefeli and Lena's (my friend) DS Nicolas in Samos last year!

This Purple Pumpkin button was a perfect match for this layout!

The cutest little Purple Pumpkin pirate!!!

Here you can see a few PP tickets!

I have used the "summer papers" kit from Enjoy Scrapping!

Materials used:
Papers: Echo Park (Summer papers by Enjoy Scrapping)
Flowers, pom-pom trim, bling: Prima
Buttons, tickets: Purple Pumpkin
Stamps: Glitz & (I will edit later..sorry)
Chipboard: Imaginarium Designs
Mist: Tattered Angels
Gesso, acrylic paint: Ranger

Thank you for visiting my blog!!!

"Creativity" - *Once Upon A...Sketch March 1st*

March 1st Challenge

Journalling Criteria/Theme:
All About Me!

The focus of your journalling and the theme of your layout has to be based on YOU and something/s that you are really good at. Don't be shy! We are all good at something as small or as big as it might be.

Ideas for journallingbeing a good mum, cooking, talking, understanding people, organising, cleaning, gardening, studying, computers, fashion, exercising, scrapbooking, good at my job, maths, languages, writing , drawing, painting, photography, running, craft, sewing. Maybe you can talk about an aspect of your personality..your sensitivity, your 6th sense, your patience, your strength or bravery, your ability to stay positive.

Remember that you are allowed to also create a card or altered project based on this sketch and theme and instead of the journalling criteria you need to use a quote.

You MUST combine our journalling criteria with this sketch..

And my take on the sketch...

As you might have noticed, I haven't followed the sketch 100% but the sketch is always given to inspire you!

I have used lots of Imaginarium designs on this:

A few close ups...
