sketching at the zoo again...
I continued with sketching at the zoo after a hot day and morning out at Labrador Nature Park with the Urban Sketchers. These are some of the sketches I did while strolling through the park as the temperature was coming down with the rain clouds gathering in our midst.
Tools used: Pentel Brush Pen, Hero Fountain pen, Faber Castell Colored Pencils

Singapore Botanic Gardens
Casa Verde means 'green house' in Italian. It is located at Singapore Botanic Gardens by the famed Les Amis Group. There is a pizza making viewing area for the customers at the end wall on the left of this sketch. This sketch was done at 3pm but customers were streaming in for pizza and meals and most of them chose to sit outdoor to enjoy the sight of greenery and sound from the mini waterfalls. I had BLT sandwich and a coffee as I missed my lunch today after music practice in the morning.

another long sketch
Another long sketch on folder paper. This time black Noodler's ink which I have not been using for a while. This sketch took approximately 45 minutes from one end to the other. Love the shadow and the composition of high and low, new and old street scene of Singapore. I may do a painting based on this sketch in the future.
