A Card for Mom for Funday Friday Challenge

Good Morning and happy Friday to you :) Ready for the weekend ? I sure am :) I got to get through Saturday mandatory shift at work before my craftiness can begin :) but I'm looking forward to being in the scrap-room a bit.
This week's challenge for Funday Friday is Mother's Day over at Jo's Scrap Shack. Our sponsor this week is Little Blue Button Stamps. I used a sweet flower stamp from Little Blue Buttons Stamps for my card today:
I used the Mango Frost 4X6 mat stack from my Color Splash counterfeit kit, my February kit :) It's great to still have bits of the kit out to use especially the 4X6 mat stacks, it's a bit more handy this way.
I used a sketch from Cardz TV they are having a special challenge this week using any of the 12 sketches that Mary has made:

I used her sketch #8 for my card.
A close up of the pretty stamp :) besides coloring it I added stickles and spread it around the flower with my finger to give it some overall glitter to the petals.
The inside of the card. I used 3 Twenty Crafts stamp set Say It From The Heart.
Thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world. You should check out what my other crafty DT sisters created for this challenge too :) I look forward to seeing your creation linked up over at Jo's Scrap Shack

Mom I Love You Because....Funday Friday Challenge

Well Good Afternoon! Today is Funday Friday over at Jo's Scrap Shack and the theme is Happy Mother's Day and our sponsor this week is Little Blue Button Stamps I made a card for today's challenge:
I used Little Blue Buttons digital stamp:  Miss Lilly Is it for me

Miss Lilly Is it for me?

I seen a really fun combination this week of the navy with the purple and I wanted to give it a go. So I used the 6X6 paper pad that was in my April counterfeit kit for the cardstock. The background navy I dry embossed with swiss dots folder, added 2 layers of cardstock behind the colored stamp image. I used the gold doily for an added color and some extra texture and the fun flowers. Added purple pearls and my sentiment comes from 3 Twenty Crafts: Say It From the Heart.
Thanks for stopping by today and hope to see what you made in this week's challenge:

Mom, I love you because...

Hi you all, and welcome to my blog. Today I'm the designer over at Card A Day Blog the theme is Mother's Day. I'm here with you today with a Mother's Day card I created:
I decided upon the card when I came across this die-cut from my stash, it's from the Better Together imagine cricut cartridge. When I seen it I thought to myself, Mom if you were here right now I would give you a big hug and tell you why I love you. (Got a little teary eye thinking about mom :)
I inked up the doily with distress ink: Broken China. I wanted some color behind the girls.
I used the stripe mat from the Echo Parks: Sweet Day cutout sheet from my current counterfeit kit. The salmon color background was in my stash of papers embossed (need to take a day and do that with some scraps, I'm getting a bit low :) This one was one of the spellbinders impressionable plates wasn't sure I liked it or not when I got it but here it gives a nice touch to the card.
I popped up both the girls and the sentiment block with 1 layer of foam tape.  I added a ribbon strip from some cutting the other night when I was creating some layouts and the sentiment block was in my stash drawer and was punched with SU:Ticket duo punch. The sentiment came from 3 Twenty Crafts: Say it from the Heart stamp set stamped in Memento tuxedo black ink. and I added Buttercup liquid pearls.
I blinged up the girls a little bit with some Scattered Straw distress stickles (not sure how I feel about this stuff yet) and Waterfall stickles on her belt.
The inside of the card:
I used a cut from some doily paper from my counterfeit kit, added another inked up doily and some of that paper ribbon for a border
I smudged the stamp message the first time so I covered it with another piece of the cardstock punched on the edges with the SU punch. Looks like it was to be done that way a great cover up :)
Close up of the image, from that same stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy the weekend. Work today and I'm going to a crop tomorrow so I'll have a few layouts next week to show you all. What's your plans for the weekend :)

Funday Friday #47: Happy Mother's Day to Ewe

Happy Friday you all!  Welcome to this weeks Funday Friday challenge over at Jo's Scrap Shack. Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo,The theme this week is I Love You Mom:
This is my creation for this week's challenge. I used bugaboo's digital stamp Happy Mother's Day to Ewe.... I got a bit of help this week for the card by seeing this sketch at Tuesday Mornings Sketches:

I thought it would make a fantastic Mother's Day card.
I added flocking powder to the lambs puffy coats, color a bit with bic markers and inked the edges with distress in: Peeled Paint. The background of the cardbase came from a cutout sheet: Echo Park: Sweet Day from this month's counterfeit kit. The brown dotted circle came from my drawer stash of pre-cut pieces.
I follow the sketch with the banners that were strips of leftovers from some of the scrapbook pages I did these past weeks. I even used bits of the colors that was left on the sentiment spot which was punched out with SU XL Decorative Label and the digi stamp was punched from the 2.5" circle punch.
The inside of the card I used another couple of cutouts from that same sheet and the sentiment printed a bit larger than the front.
The jar has all those little hearts in it, so cute :)
Thanks for stopping by today. I will be including this into the Tuesday Morning sketches challenge.

Mom Thank You-Day 3 of the 3 Twenty Crafts blog hop

Hello my crafty friends!!
Welcome to day 3 of the 3 Twenty Crafts 2nd Release! You should have arrived here from Melissa's blog but if you would like to start at the beginning of the hop, simply go to Jo's Scrap Shack.
Today we are showing you the new and awesome stamp set “Say it from the Heart”
This set of stamps is so cool! So many uses for this one and the sentiments could used for so many people, Mom & Dad, Husband, Friends, Sisters & Brothers, Sons & Daughters, Aunts and Uncles, Grandparents and more
Here is the card I created using this new stamp set:
I made the card from my counterfeit kit (the kit is really getting a workout this week :), I had fun making this card lots of fussy cutting and stamping. My card base came for the multicolor stripe cardstock, I used the tan cardstock and the pink cardstock and put them both through the embossing folder SU Honeycomb (perfect size for the stamps). The tan became my background and the pink I used to stamp a selection of the stamps. 1.75" strip of the blue (the other side of the pink) and cut it to make a pennant, cute the doily in half and attached that behind the blue strip. I used CTMH Smoothie bakers twine, wrapped 3 times and tied a bow to it added a flower that I got from a swap. I fussy cut all the stamp pieces and I also fussy stamped Mom and Thank you on the Hexagon shapes and sprinkled all the pop dot pieces around the card
I also brought in one of the verses to the inside of the card
All the stamping was done with Memento Nautical Blue ink, I added a couple more of the flowers to the inside, a sweet Mother's Day card or just a card to let her now how you feel.
When your not sure what you want to say this set is perfect to help you out with that. Thanks for stopping by and be  sure to hop around and see what the girls have done with this cute set of stamps. I can envision this on a scrapbook layout, a smash page or even a project life card such a cool set of stamps.

Good Morning and welcome to my blog,
I'm one of the designers over at the Creative Cutting Challenge blog where we give a theme and challenge you to use any SVG (or similar) files cut for it and how fun is that, we would love to see what you create. This week's them is Mother's Day Cards:

I created a card with a flower from the Flower Set one collection
Flower Set One - Click Image to Close
I just love the flower and thought it would be perfect for a Mother's Day Card. A cool thing about this set is could be use for a variety of cards and scrapbook layouts. The flower I cut out at 4" and Mom was cut from lettering in SCAL at 1". Went with a clean card this time, Added a block of pattern paper, a strip of ivory paper for the border and a block of green paper. Added a die cut to the flower center to bring in some dimension.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Staples for the cardbase, Green, dk brown, brown and white from my stash (most likely Michaels open stock)
Patterned Paper:  Making Memories Simply Fabulous for the paisley, Recollections Fairy Tale-Fairy Dust for the letters, the light yellow for the flower center cut from my stash
Inks: None used
Embellishments: K&Company Eco-Modern die cut cardstock
Tools:  SCAL

Thanks for stopping by and seeing the view from my little corner of the world...

The recipe for this A2 card is:
Dry emboss: Cuttlebug Victoria folder, Scallop cut came from Accent Essentials MoM cut came from Jasmine, Picher of flowers came from Country Life. Paper and Cardstock came from The Paper Company: Natural Fashion Colors and My Minds Eye Bella Bella collection and various scraps I had. Glitters is from stickles in yellow and gold.

I wish all the Moms out there in blog land a Happy Mother's Day, hope you all have a great day.
