Christmas Gift Cards 2017 layout

Hi you all a quick post before heading to work :) I got this fun layout it will be the opposing page of the layout I did of my hubby and his kitchen aid since it was the same night.
I used my counterfeit kit: Sprinkle and I used the #310 sketch over at Sketches in Thyme for my inspiration:
I turned to work for the pictures I had. I loved using the poinsettias that were in my kit for that cute border.
Blogger is being a little pesty tonight so can't add the close up pictures, will try to add them tomorrow :) Thank you for stopping by today to see what I'm up too in my little corner of the world.

Sprinkle for a Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style challenge

Good Morning a short post today :) It's been a busy week at work with long hours, but I can say I've been creating each day so far this year :)
We got a cute journaling sketch for our challenge today over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style challenge:

This is what I created with it:
Sprinkle is the name for my 1st kit as a new Master Forger over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog so thought it was a fitting title for the layout. Using items from the kit and a piece of cardstock from my stash I created this layout :) A great way to start out the New Year:
This is what it looks like on the layout :) I used alot scraps to layer behind the pictures. I used Christys Beautiful Life's 30 days of sketches 2, use the sketch that she featured on Jan 3rd video.
The card once again adding the red burlap pointsetta to the layout for embellishments
Pictures of my kit that I took for my blog post. I figured this was worthy for a scrapbook layout of my newest journey this year. If you would like to see more about Counterfeit Kit Challenges you can find it here. And if you would love to play along with this sketch you can find that over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style I look forward to seeing your creation.
Have a fantastic day today!

Love the Better Part of the Day-Counterfeit Kit challenge

Inspired by Nature is the challenge for us today over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog. Lisa is challenging us to feature something from nature on our project today. We love the outdoors in the summer so this was an easy challenge for me and I hope one for you too. The kit had so many nature inspired items in it that this is what I did with mine:
Dave and I out and about taking a walk in our yard. Love this time cause it's the Better part of the Day for us. I used the flower die cuts and the nature inspired pattern paper that was in my kit for the layout
 My journaling
The love of my life :)
 My title work
The last cluster and the picture of the sunflowers that year. For my layout inspiration I've been watching Christy's Beautiful Life on Youtube and this month she's been doing a series of 30 days of sketches and this came from Jan 16th's sketch. Also should work for the challenge over at Scrappin N Chattin group for the green & yellow color combo.
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation linked up over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog.

Winter Wonderland

Hello :) I did this layout last night and the storm was taking place Saturday :) One good thing about doing a layout a day is I can actually stay current with what is happening at the moment. This layout came about from 2 pictures: 1 of the storm and 1 of the cleanup. We got about 2.5" that day. Today another 3" of snow is making for more cleanup.
I used the sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy for my layout inspiration:
this is my interpretation of the sketch
I used just about all my snowflake paper in my current counterfeit kit: Sprinkle for the layout. Even used a paper to get my title for the layout and my cluster points.
 The journaling
close up of the pictures, the photo mats were something I received as a prize a long time ago and glad to finally get a good spot to use them :)
and that funky title I created with the paper, yes at the moment the property looks like a Winter Wonderland. Thank you for stopping by today checking out what I've been doing in my little corner of the world.

Love Today layout for Use Your Stuff challenge

Hello Hello :) We are back into the swing of things with the New Year, the holidays are over and 2018 has started. So that means new challenges too. At Use Your Stuff challenge blog this week's challenge is: New Year, New Fun - Create a project with something new (ie, tool, paper, embellishment etc) or highlight something new in a photo:
Some cool pictures of the flowers in our garden August 17, 2013. So what is new in this layout :) you may ask. The die-cuts are new, the gems and the Love wood veneer is newly open :) Got that last year for Christmas. The others I got over the holiday at Hobby Lobby when visiting Tammy and the grandkids. It was to cold to do anything other than play board games or head to the mall and shop :) We did both.
I grabbed a Project Life card from my cart that has the cards sitting on the top of it, used ot for the journaling. Added lots of die cuts to the layout.
Really loved using the different textures in the title of the layout.
More die cuts and gems, plus a word phrase from the die cut pack.
and more die cuts and gems, plus a word phrase from the die cut pack. Everything on jthis layouot came from my Counterfeit Kit-Sprinkle. I made sure to add a layer of that vellum to the layout. This layout was a lift from this past week's Glitter Girl's episode over at you tube.
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your crafty creation for this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog

Mussina Building layout

Hello :) This is the 1st layout I created in this new year of 2018. One of my goals this year is to do a Layout a Day. Something easy enough with all the printed pictures I have on hand. But not sure if I will be able to keep up with daily posts but will give it a go :) I will have my goals post up probably tomorrow still working on my list for the year but this is one of the for sure goals for me :) I also have a goal of scrapping the printed pictures I have on hand of vacations/roadtrips this I expect to be 70% of my daily scrapping. I have so many theme albums I want to do that I had goals for last year that didn't get conquered so make that a priority this year :) Those pictures aren't going to be seen sitting in envelopes from the printers.
I created this layout joining in with a challenge over at Bash Your Scrapbook Stash FB group . #BYSSLayouts365 will be the hashtag and the goal is to finish 365 layouts (projects, cards, etc.) in 2018, which is one of my goals :) So this challenge is right up my alley.
This is a layout created with pictures of the Self-Guided tour of Historic Downtown Williamsport I did in April 2017. I have lots of pictures from this walk that I want to get scrapped and since they are a variety of different pictures I shouldn't get to bored creating with them till I'm done :) So between my Counterfeit kit-Sprinkle and my 100 pattern paper pile should have lots of choices for papers for the pictures. The papers for this layout came from my counterfeit kit. I used a sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy for my inspiration:
I loved this background for the pictures and used a piece of the pattern paper that was similar in color with the windows of the building and that made it look like it was pointing to the photos.
I added the information about the building that is supplied with the tour paper to the bottom of the layout
The butterfly came from the pack of die cuts that was in my counterfeit kit that had the trucks in it :) also had the butterflies and the florals on this layout. I added my journaling with a piece of the same paper that I had used up in the top element.
close up of the pictures of the building. It's always fun to get myself caught in a photo withing the photo taken.
Thank you for stopping by today to see what I'm up to in my little corner of the world...........

CKC-January Kit Reveal-Sprinkle

Hello January :) and welcome to my first kit forgery as a Master Forger for Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog. You should have come to my stop from Lori's blog and I'm looking forward to seeing what she created for her kit :)
Our inspirational kit was chosen by our lovely Lisa
Here’s the original kit: Fair Isle, Cocoa Daisy’s November 2017 kit.

and this is my kit Sprinkle:

The 1st thing I thought of when I saw the kit was that it had the Christmas feel to it with the reds and the greens, but a bit of winter to it to with the snowflakes. The name of the kit comes from the various sprinkles of colors and textures from the original kit.
My paper:
I went with 2 plaids, some florals, lots of snowflakes, a stripe, vellum, and some woodgrain. I also came across the paper that looked like watercolor from a gift this past Christmas. Lots of old stash in this kit and pops of new stash mixed in.
The embellishments:
I had the same gold stars in my stash :) tags, ephemera, lots of gems, veneer, the jillibean soup die cuts had the fun trucks that was in one of the papers that was in the original kit so I was drawn to add that to the kit too. I added the poinsettias in a burlap as well as the silver glittery too :) Some enamel dots in pink/purple to match the pink paper I had in the kit
Here are some of the alphas I have chosen especially for this kit, but may stray abit to my alphas for more. I will add cardstock as needed :)
This is what I will have on hand for scraping this month besides my Dec Daily kit that I'm still using while finishing up my Dec Daily.
Margie's blog is the next stop on this blog hop, looking forward to seeing what she created too

Here is the complete blog hop list:

Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing the kit you make......
