Greetings Fellow Nom Seekers!
I landed in Brisbane for work and as I always do, stay around town which would allow me to sample as much nom as possible. On this occasion, I went to one of my favorite steak place, "The Norman". As test cricket was on at the Gabba, the place was packed (not that it is ever empty)
If this is your first experience at "The Norman", the first thing to do is to find a table (Don't forget to book if you have a group of people) and go the counter to order with your table number. On the way to the counter you will get to pass the honour board. You too could have your name on it if you are willing to eat a kilo of rump steak along with lots of salad, breads and sauces during certain times of the year.

Ordering is an easy process as all cuts are located behind the window counter and patrons get to choose their own cut and ask to be cooked as desired. This time around, I chose the large rib fillet from the Dalby Region in Queensland and the must-have beer battered chips with aioli sauce. As packed as what the restaurant was, my meal was ready within 20 minutes. As usual, the beef was perfectly cook and along with the chips and a few drinks was a very satisfying experience. After all, this restaurant slogan is "The Norman, Brisbane Worst Vegetarian Restaurant" and it does live to that expectation.
