I heart Tangle Tuesday

So sorry for not posting.... no excuses except that I wasn't sure if amnyone looked at blogs these days, what with so much social media out there. But, I have been told some folks aren't on "gasp" social media!! So my blogging is for them!!

Not only is it Valentine's Day, but it is Tangle Tuesday! Therefore I have a twofer for you!! The tile is from Marguerite Samama's Valentangle class on Sunday. The piece combines my card making with Zentangle. I heart all of you and appreciate all the  comments from everyone!! #valentangle23, #happytangling.

Tangle Tuesday

Happy Tangle Tuesday! I have been working on a Valentine string for an intro to Zentangle class.

Students love seeing a tile fit into a design. I think when I made my sample I way over complicated it!! LOL!!

Still, I love how the tiles fit together and I like the idea of one colored and one not. Kinda fun.

Tangle Tuesday

Happy Tangle Tuesday!! After the holidays , I always get into a crafting slump. Like to much food and drink, I am satiated with pens, pencils, stamps, paper, dies and all things crafty. What usually helps get me out of that slump is work on Valentine's cards.

Today's tangle is a valentine tile. I love the look of red, black and white on a tan tile. So striking.

Hope you all are getting some love into your crafting!

Tangle Tuesday

Today on Tangle Tuesday we are celebrating Three Kings Day. At the end of the Twelve Days of Christmas comes a day called the Epiphany, this holiday is celebrated as the day the three wise men first saw the baby Jesus and brought him gifts On this day in Spain, many children get their Christmas presents.

Tangle Tuesday

Welcome to Tangle Tuesday! 5 days till Christmas! Where did the time go. So much to finish up in the next few days. But, that's half the fun, all the last minute hustle bustle.

Today's piece was inspired by the video by Eva Wu.

Wishing all of you a blessed holiday season.

Tangle Tuesday

Hey all! Welcome back to Tangle Tuesday!! Last week was a bit busy and I missed my TT posting. Today I am getting my holiday cheer on. This cute "Gnome for the Holidays" was inspired by a class by Loretta West at the Colour Garden Studio.

This was a fun project and the possibilities are endless! I hope all of you are getting your holiday on!

Tangle Tuesday

Happy Tangle Tuesday!! Today's tiles are from two different classes. The class was the same but, each was done with a different teacher. The class was created by Romi Borax Marks and Julie Allison. It is to be taught as a free class and there are no fees involved. The tile is about unity and bring folks together to draw. The above tile is from my class by Annie Taylor.

This tile is from a class taught by my good friend and mentor, Mindy Shapiro. They are the same , but different. Each teacher used different colors and some different tangles.

It was fun to see the different teaching styles from each teacher for the same class.

Tangle Tuesday

Welcome to Tangle Tuesday. Today's project was for a children's class at a local art center. These fun paper pumpkins can be made with any kind of paper and tangled with any medium. They are a perfect addition to my Thanksgiving table decorations.

Wishing all of you a blessed Thanksgiving!

Tangle Tuesday

Welcome to Tangle Tuesday. Today's medieval tangle were the inspiration from a class by the amazing Inge Frasch. White vines are the vines that curl around medieval letters. Inge was able to take a very complicated design and break it down into easy manageable steps. The beauty of Zentangle and a good teacher.

There is some thing so calming and relaxing but just drawing the white vines. If you haven't seen Inge's work. Check it out.

Tangle Tuesday

Welcome to Tangle Tuesday. This week's art was a piece I made for my brother's 70th birthday. He is a part-time birder. Leaving in LSD (lower slower Delaware) there are numerous state parks to watch birds.

This piece was inspired by artist Scott Partridge. His bird illustrations inspired the string just waiting to be filled with all sorts of tangles.

After I finished the inking in, it was time for color.

Thanks for checking in to Tangle Tuesday.
