Look who's 2!
Zoe turned 2 on March 26, 2012. We had a birthday party for her the Saturday before her actual birthday. It was a balloon themed party because she LOVES balloons. There were balloons everywhere and she loved it. We had family and friends over for the occassion and had a great time. My sister and her husband flew in from San Francisco for the party.
We love you, Zoe, so very much. Thank you for being you. :)

Christmas Card Bloopers
I thought I'd share some of the pictures from Zoe's "Christmas Photosession". I'm sure it would have been quite comical watching us. It was FAREEZING! I was taking the pictures while my mom danced and sang and did all kinds of crazy things behind me to get Zoe to smile. We also stuffed Zoe with fruit snacks to keep her happy. :) It was fun, enjoy. :)
Fruit snacks!
Grama is funny.
More fruit snacks!
Oh look at my shoes, they are fabulous.
Zoning... haha.
Earth to Zoe...
And we're back! :)
My personal favorite.

just one of those days
This is Zoe in all her awesomeness. Soggy diaper, no pants, food covered face. She wasn't feeling too hot due to the side effects from her flu shot kicking in. She did NOT want a bow in her hair this particular day. Plus she had pretty stellar bed head. She was just really grumpy to sum it all up. And I guess I can't blame her. We all get grumpy some days. I was on the verge of giving her away when I decided to just get my camera. So I gave her her blanket (the one that was in the dirty clothes hamper but she threw a tantrum because she wanted THAT blanket.) And we went outside. She drug that blanket all over the yard. Picked it up when needed (to avoid dog poop) and would continue on her way.

"Balls"
A lot has happened since the last time I blogged. Ryan graduated from Texas A&M, we moved in with my parents, Ryan started working full-time, they started construction on our house (YAY!) and Zoe has been growing like a weed. I will try to blog about all of those things but for now I will post a few pictures of our Zoe. She is just changing so much. She is very expressive whether she is mad, sad, or happy.
My parents have a walnut tree in their yard and Zoe thinks the walnuts that have fallen are balls. So it has become a daily activity to search for "balls". Zoe is 16.5 months in these pictures.
She is busy girl, it is getting harder for me to get pictures of her without her running away from me. The picture on the right below, she started zoning out. I thought it was kinda funny. She likes horse apples too - also "balls".

13 Months
-She loves to point to her belly. (As you can see from the pictures.) She also knows her eye, mouth, head, nose, foot and ear. Sometimes she gets them mixed up which is pretty funny.
-Bye bye formula and bottle!
-Climbs on EVERYTHING! Ugh, so frustrating.
-Spending more time with babysitters, which is nice for Mommy. :) Zoe has been doing really well and is getting used to the idea of being away from mommy. After the initial 10 or 15 minutes of being way sad, she has a great time.
-She absolutely loves being outside. Loves bugs and rocks and picking the grass.
