Alan is doing great and is still my Prince Charming. He is so dedicated to this family and works so hard for all of us. As Eddy once told me "Mom, you have no idea how devoted Dad is to you." I do know! Everything he does is for me and the boys. He is the most unselfish and caring person I know.
Eddy is at BYU and doing great! He's 23, 6'3" and so dang cute! He is such a great joy to me and is and always has been such a great example for his brothers. I'll be adding his picture at a later post.
Chandler is serving his mission in the San Juan East Puerto Rico Mission. He is LOVING it and will be home in less than four months! Can we all say "halleluiah"?! I'm sure we will have to DRAG the boy home...but I will drag if I have to! He is one handsome kid (as you can see) and his picture is the most current of all the boys, so the other boys will have to wait.
Derek is 18, a Senior and is also very tall! I think he is a tad taller than Eddy now. He is excited to graduate but will miss all his socializing! He's adorable and keeps me laughing all the time! I'll be adding his picture at a later post.
Dylan...my baby! He is soon to be 17, a Sophomore and a kid that is interested in MANY things. Music is his love and he is so creative with it. Of course he is a cutie and I'll be adding his picture at a later post.
Do you get the idea of later post? Also as you can tell, I think all of my boys are amazing and adorable...I have that right as their mother! As my Aunt Jane used to say to me about her kids, "they are my angels and always will be." I feel as she does.
I also just have to say what amazing parents I have! I am so thankful for them and all they do for me. They have really big shoulders that hold my worries...thank you Mom and Dad!
My sisters, MiMi, Barbie, LaVoy and Cara bring me so much joy and happiness even though I live so far from all of them. We've made many memories and laughter always rings when we are all together! I will always be the quiet one of us all, though.
I can't leave out my big Bro, Travis! He is special 'cause he's the only brother. His jokes and quick wit are unbeatable! There is never a dull moment when he's around!
All I can say is...my life is blessed because of the love of my family.
I see you're figuring it out! And yes, our kids are the most precious gift we have and they fill our hearts and souls with so much joy. Just wait for the grandkids...your heart just keeps getting bigger! I can't imagine not having them all in my life forever! Thank goodness for the truths we know! And just to set the record straight.....I'm the quiet one! Love you! xoxox
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to know that despite living away all these years you still live in your own reality of being "the quiet one". If you're quiet, then I'm a mute! Love you!
ReplyDeleteFunny, funny MiMi and Cara!! A mute is far from what you are Cara, as you are very aware of! And Mims...we all know you kick it up when we're together. Ask Barb!!
ReplyDeleteWhy does this have to be a family debate? Why can't we all just admit that we're all loud-mouths! That's part of what makes us FUN! I wouldn't want it any other way. Who would want to be in a family that is quiet and mousy? BORING!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I think Marissa and her blog are DARLING!
ReplyDeleteLove update posts. Now update with those photos, :).
ReplyDeleteYour son (the one with the picture) looks like RyLee ~I think~
ReplyDeleteHooray. I can read your blog! Good to see you. We are doing well. Baby girl is due May 16. Feeling big, but doing just fine. Love you!
ReplyDeleteSo where is this later post??? :)
ReplyDeleteDon't mind me reading this like a month late. You're going to be bombarded with comments from me. Love the debate you guys are having here. It makes me want to get everyone together, just so we can put this to the test!
