Dear Zoe,

We are ready for you to come live with us now. Your room is all done, mommy and daddy's bags are packed for the hospital and we are more than ready to meet you. What's taking you so long?! I know you aren't suppose to come until Monday, but we are anxious. Just sayin'.

Love, Mommy

Showered with LOVE

Not only did having several baby showers get us set for the first few months of having a newborn (i.e. diapers, clothes, other necessities) but it also made us so grateful for all of the wonderful people that love and support us. I starting feeling guilty for having 4 showers. And you may be saying, WHAT THE?! 4??!!! Yes 4. My biggest feat was having people think I was asking them to give me things or buy Zoe gifts. I didn't want to look greedy, or have people think I expected something from them. But my mom put it into perspective for me when I was expressing to her this guilt I had. And she said, "There are so many people that love you and want to celebrate with you, so let them." And she is right.

Here are a few pictures from my last two showers. They were so fun:) Thanks to everyone who helped put them together, for everyone who attended, and for all of the wonderful and thoughtful gifts.

Crazy Busy

When I thought I would have all the time in the world to blog after I quit my job in preparation for little Zoe to get here... man was I WRONG!! Life has been crazy busy.

It's all my fault though. I have no one to blame but myself. Can you say NESTING LIKE CRAZY????!! I cannot get all of my projects done in the hours alloted in a day. It's terrible. I mean, heaven forbid Zoe comes into the world before I can scrub the tile grout in my kitchen with a toothbrush. How inconsiderate, Zoe.

And let's not forget all of the baby Zoe projects I have... make headbands, make burp cloths, art projects for her room, organize and reorganize her closet, hang curtains, buy rug. And there are a ton more, but it makes me overwhelmed to think about it.

So forgive me for not posting about my last two baby showers. I will get to them ASAP. Let's just hope it's before Zoe gets here...

Did I mention I am 38 weeks pregnant today? Yep, 2 more weeks!!! Belly picture, coming soon. Or not. No promises. :)
