I had the most fabulous weekend in a long time this past weekend. My mom and Mother-in-law came in town to help decorate Zoe's room, and to attend my very first baby shower ever! It was a busy, but fun weekend.
Thanks to my good friends Jenny and Holly for hosting such a fun shower. Jenny, all of the little details turned out so cute! Thanks so much for caring enough to make it so special. And Holly, thanks so much for all that you did and for letting us all invade you home. I know many others helped, so thank you to ALL of you. I appreciate it more than you know! I realized this weekend how many wonderful friend I have here, and I'm so grateful for that. And THANK YOU to everyone who attended, in person and in spirit:), and for all of the sweet gifts. I really was spoiled, and I have to admit I loved every minute of it!
Here are a few pictures from the shower. Thanks for taking the pictures Jenny!
All of the delicious food!
How cute are these water bottles?!
More food pictures, I am hungry.
Inside these cute little bags were cookies for the guests to take home. Such a cute idea. And can I just say I loved all of the vases with sweet pink roses in the them. Love the detail.
Cute "ZOE" banner. And all the spoilage I got spoiled with. :)
I thought this picture was funny. The grandmas-to-be having way too much fun...
Some of the guests, watching me open gifts and enjoying some delicious cake!
And here are some pictures of Zoe's incomplete-but-getting-closer nursery. The "Z-O-E" needs work. We might paint the letters and we are definitely using different ribbon to hang them. I just has to get something on the wall! We installed the trim ourselves. It was pretty easy actually, and really adds to the room. We still have to purchase a bookcase/dresser, glider, some things to put on the walls, and a few other odds and ends- detail stuff. The biggest task we have to do is make the bedding and curtains, but we can't do that until we get the fabric! So...let's cross our fingers it gets done before Zoe gets here. Right mom?! :)
The crib... needs mattress and bedding:)
This adorable blanket goes PERFECTLY with the paint on the walls. Thanks TYAN!
Up close of the trim. The paint isn't as bright as it may look. Maybe it's my computer screen...
Miss Roxie isn't quite sure what to think...
That's all for now, When we get further along in our decorating of the nursery, I'll post those pictures.
