Happy Birthday Theo!!

Today is Theo's 9th birthday!  Hardly seems possible since I remember so vividly my trip to VA for his birth!!

And this was a year ago - that boy is growing up before our very eyes!!  All the grandchildren grow up - and it's exciting - but a little melancholy too - so grateful for lots of good memories of time spent with this sweet boy!

Have a great year ahead Theo - before we know it, you will be 16 and driving all over!!

Happy Day to our man Theo!!

A few of the faces of our man Theo - who  is 6 today!!  Where did the years go??  The smile seems to be a common thread - even with a missing tooth!
It was great to visit with him so much this year - we wish him the best day ever!

The Evolution of a Little Boy!!

Happy Day today to Theo - who is turning 4!

I well remember the call that he was born and the rush to get a ticket and get the sub plans in order and to get myself back there to welcome the new little guy!!

Mom and Dad were pros - I was mostly there to consult - but it's a job I love!

And since the distance is great, we'd see him after months at a time - and so he always seemed to be getting "so big!!"

And now he's a regular big boy!!

We loved our recent visit with everyone - and it was great to have Theo around for a few days after everyone else left.

Have a great year in Primary, pre-school, and becoming a new big brother!!

Happy 3rd Birthday to Theo!!

In honor of Theo's 3rd birthday, I'm posting this shot of Eliza on her 3rd birthday - at least that's what the caption on the photo says. Maybe it's Dad's birthday? Anyway, it's 1986, which would make her 3!

And here's Theo as an almost-three-year-old last week!!

When Ida was born, I went back to Virginia, and Theo and I had a lot of beautiful fall days going for walks and playing on the swings and slides and parked skip loaders!! This was a favorite activity!!

I have some great memories of sparkling blue skies, brisk breezes, and fall leaves spiraling and fluttering to the ground - and Theo pointing to them and laughing!!

Happy Day to our dear Theo!!
