More memories

Dad got home late from SLC. He said the airport had been jam-packed - on a Wednesday morning at 5 a.m. too! When the were coming home, he said it took almost 45 minutes just to get a wheelchair for Grandma!

But they were glad they went. Grandma Terrill is the tail end of her generation of Taylors, and it is a proud legacy that they leave. I will try to get Dad to write up some thoughts - but don't hold your breath!! He did say that even though there were no new "stories" about Bill, he did hear several of Bill's grandchildren speak and reflect on how much their grandfather had influenced their lives for good.

Jack Taylor sang all the verses of "A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief." Also, the flags on Bill's street were all at half staff. There was also a 21 gun salute at the cemetery.

And I can't help but note that there is certainly a strong family resemblance to many in the family today in the above photo!!
