Just had to share Kacy's nurse-shoe story today. Quite funny.
The only bone I have to pick with Law and Order is the blonde lawyer girl. I don't even know her name. Vanessa or Valerie or something, I think. I love Jack McCoy too, but Blondie has got to go. Actually she's getting better with the newer episodes, but some of those reruns make me want to call NBC and offer to pay for acting lessons.
I love the new cop on this season. I miss the other guy, but the new guy's funnier.

Hannah + Sam Waterston = <3
Yes... I am having a tempestuous affair.
With Law & Order.
"DUN DUN!" The sound gets me every time. Those TNT marathons have me glued to the set for hours. Karl, Dawn and I are all scoffed at by unbelievers (ahem... Harry). But those cheesy one-liners and old-timey New York good cop/bad cop plot lines are classic.
Thank you, Phoebe, for introducing me to my new love.
And TNT... we salute you.

Blogger savvy
Hey all! I noticed Phoebe's post today is actually a comment to the first post (scroll down to bottom of page to view it). You may have done that on purpose, but in case you didn't, here's a little FYI for everyone who's new to Blogger:
Easiest way to post on the blog: Go to blogger.com, and sign in with your username and password. Your "Dashboard" will show up--you can either click on the name of this blog ("The Terrill Connection") to view all posts, or click on "Create a new post" to...erm...create a new post. You can also edit old posts (as long as you were the author).
When you're writing a new post, notice up at the top left-hand corner there's a way to bold, italicize, add links, and even add web-based pictures (i.e., pictures you stole from other web pages. I do this all the time. It's quite fun and as long as you credit the website and don't save the picture to your own server [which none of us has our own server anyway, except Noah], it's ethical). For links, highlight the text you want to link, click on the world icon, and type in the web address. For pictures, click on the framed picture of a mountain to get more details. Adding your own pictures is a little more complicated than web pictures--Hannah's the picturemeister, so talk to her about that. Or Noah. Or me, but they're better at it.
Maybe this is all obvious to everybody and I'm just being dumb, but I thought that just in case, I'd give y'all the run-through.
And, I'm at work right now (as usual), so I'll go do something a little more productive. Peace.

maiden blog
Well, this is my first blog at the terrill family connection. I feel a moment of silence is in order. Although I'm always up for a moment of silence for any reason.
Sorry to miss the Grandma Terrill family party last night. Ella is still throwing up. Although she did keep a piece of toast down for a whole hour. Poor Ella - she is so hungry, but can't eat. However, we are eating the oatmeal chocolate chip bars we were supposed to bring to the party.
Well, Annika just woke up - I'm off - take care all.
Oh - Happy Anniversary Eliza and Matt and congrats to Hannah on the stick shift mastery - brave Karl!

I want in on this too
Hey guys! Just wanted to let you all know that I can drive stick now. The cousin Karls took me for a spin in the Hyundai. I can even go on the freeway now. But... I have a hard time getting the car into first gear. But it's still exciting, since we're all a little familiar with my first experience with stick... tee hee.
Time for the Terrill family party. Vaya con dios.

Merry Christmas!
Charlie Brown: Isn't there anyone out there who can tell me what Christmas is all about?
Linus: Sure, Charlie Brown, I can tell you. Lights, please.
"And there were in the same country shepherds, abiding in the
field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the
angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone
round about them! And they were sore afraid ... And the angel
said unto them, Fear not! For, behold, I bring you tidings o
great joy, which shall be to all my people. For unto you is born
this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ, the
Lord.
"And this shall be a sign unto you: Ye shall find the babe
wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly,
there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host
praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the Highest, and on
Earth peace, and good will toward men."
That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.

This is your mother speaking!!
Dear Family,
This is our 37th wedding anniversary. Who would have ever thought, 37 years ago, that communication would be so advanced - or is it really? Just a thought. The key is communication - maybe a blog will do it.
Love you guys!!

Welcome to the blog!
Here's the new Terrill website (or weblog, aka "blog"). It's not supposed to replace phone calls or letters or anything, just a new way for sharing information and keeping in touch. Have fun! Let Eliza or Hannah know if you have any questions about it.
