Grace and her family

Grace is the momma of four little beauties who were born in April, 2006. The story of their rescue is here: The story of Grace.

Grace and two of her sons live here in Texas with Marilynn, and everyone gets along pretty well. Grace tends to favor Ruse, and they can often be seen bathing each other and snoozing together. Audace is more annoying to her, and she usually hisses and swats at him until he goes away ... even about 10" away!

Here's Ruse:

And here's Audace:

All-in-all, everyone gets along pretty well, and Audace knows to cuddle up to Ruse rather than his momma! Sometimes he forgets; then he gets a scolding!

Here's a good photo of the two boys snoozing together. This is a common scene in the evenings, especially in cooler weather!

Moosey's Family :)

Hi everybuddy!  It's me, Moosey!

Thanks to my awesome pal, Oui Oui, for hosting this really fun event.  I'm excited to share about my family near and far, AND to meet the families of all my TCC buddies!

Lots of you already know my sisfurs, Gracie and Zoe.  They are beautiful house panthers, and Mom and Dad adopterated them from PAWS this past September.  They are littermates, about 10 years old, and they enjoy doing lots of stuff together (here they are, watching some Bird TV).

Gracie (blue collar) and Zoe (pink collar)
Even though they are both super sweet and look a lot alike, Gracie and Zoe have very distinct personalities.  Gracie is the true snuggler of the family, very smart, and she loves a good belly rub.  Zoe is snuggly, too, but also has a child-like quality about her. She is always making us laugh with her antics (stuff like chasing flies, posing like a bunny, and running so fast that she skids on the hardwood floor).

This is my adorable cousin, Zoey.  She lives in Southern California with Dad's sister and nephew.  As you can see, she makes a very good monorail cat. :)

I also have an honorary family from Michigan, the Cherry City Kitties!  Two of them -- Dexter and Willow -- are in the Tabby Cat Club!  Dexter, Harry and Tipp offered to be my honorary brofurs when Sammy had to go to the Bridge.  How pawsome is that?  Of course I said yes, because you can never have too many brofurs.  AND I got a new sisfur (Willow), and an honorary mom (Carolyn) and dad (Mark), too!  (By the way, Dad borrowed these beautiful pictures of the Cherry City Kitties from their blog.)

My honorary family! Clockwise, from top left: Dexter, Harry, Willow and Tipp
I also have three cat cousins in Seattle. Their names are Yuki, Mochi and Ella.  And my dog cousin Bella lives there, too!  Dad has some pictures of them all somewhere, but wasn't able to find them in time for my post.  So even though I don't have pictures to share right now, we love Yuki, Mochi, Ella and Bella very much.

So, that's my family.  I hope you enjoyed getting to know them!  Okay, I'm off to go and meet all of YOUR families now.  How exciting! :)

Hugs and headbonks,

Moosey :)

Moosey's Soft Tabby (Kitty) Song :)

Hi Everybuddy!  It's me, Moosey!

FANKS to my honorary brofur and sisfur, Dexter and Willow, for hosting this totally pawsome event.  Dex and Willow, and their whole family are the BESTEST, and my sisfurs Gracie and Zoe and I (and Mommy and Daddy, too) sure do love them.  Anyway, here's my rendition of the "Soft Tabby (Kitty) Song"...

Soft tabby, warm tabby, little ball of fur:

SILLY tabby

Sleepy tabby

Purr, purr, purr...

Oh, and since I'm singing the Soft Tabby Song, I ALSO wanted to share a picture that Daddy took today at PAWS of my sweet and adoptable senior TABBY friend, Evangeline.  Isn't she pretty?  And look how well she does the Soft Tabby pose! :)

Have a great day, everybuddy!

Hugs and headbonks,

Moosey
