April in Paris with the TCC and my Family! :)

Hi everybuddy! It's moi, Moosey! :)

First off, I wanted to thank our awesome pal, Sammy, for hosting this year's spring trip to Paris. Sammy did a great job of planning, and he's a great tour guide and bus driver. It was the purrfect adventure!

Here's me and my family, in the gardens of Versailles. Besides me and my sisters Gracie and Zoe, you probably recognize our honorary family - brothers Tipp, Harry Nutkin and Dexter, and sister Willow - from the Cherry City Kitties. Dexter and Willow are fellow TCC members!

As we toured around Paris, we met some really nice Parisian kitties...

Pierre
Alain
Christine
Louis (he lives at the zoo, in case you're wondering)
Did you know that there's also some excellent Bird TV in Paris? We didn't even need any subtitles to figure out what was going on...

MOL!
Merci beaucoup, Sammy! That was tres fun!

For my Mancat Dexter, with love...

Today is me and my special love, ginger Mancat Dexter's first love anniversary! I've been looking forward to this day for what feels like forever! Oh, D, a year ago when I confessed all my loves to you, I knew you were the best Mancat on all the Interwebs. You send me postcards and photos and make me feel so loved. Ladies, find yourselves one like Dexter, but paws off! He's mine! And then, *SQUEEEE* he sent me presents for our special day!

Dexter included a love letter. With purple violets on it! How I love these special notes! Here I am reading bits of it to baby sister Viola who Just.Does.Not.Get.It.

What? You want to hear what it says? *blush* Sorry, that's private! MOL!

Now, see all the pretty purple? Purple is my favorite color and D remembers this all the time! One of the many ways I feel his love.

So, naturally, I have to play with smooth out some of that pretty purple crinkly paper because, well,... it's purple and it's all the way from my sweetheart Dexter!

Finally, it was time to get down to opening D's gifts. Such good smells! So good, I had to nom on one or two a little. I hope you don't mind, D. The whiffies were incredible!

And then I nommed on a tasty mousie tail... that is two kinds of purple! D love, I hope you have a pretty purple mousie too because this is the best! Thank you!

And then even further, the best of the best, better than the jingle ball and the crinkly ball (both pretty purple!), better than the purple feather ball (that I had to lick and lick and lick for a while because... FEATHERS!), and even better than the extra special jar of nippy flowers, "Fleur de Nip" that I'll sprinkle on my bed at night so I'll dream of D, is my love's portrait in a purple frame! Oh, D! You are so handsome. It's like you're here with me! *happy tears*

Just to make him really seem like he's here beside me, I brought him a beautiful nippy pillow that Dexter's Mom made special for me! And it matches a beautiful kick stick! Thank you, Dexter's Mom!

Then, it was back to licking those feathers... but just for a minute or two. Because I have to gaze at my darling D some more. Isn't he dreamy?

Dexter, you've made me the happiest ginger princess in all the world. Even though you are far away, I feel you are here with me always. Sweetheart, thank you for making our first love anniversary so special.

Happy Anniversary, my love. I hope you like what I sent you to celebrate our loves. May your day be filled with happiness and joy!

All my purrs and loves,
your 'lil bean, Pia

Moosey's Family :)

Hi everybuddy!  It's me, Moosey!

Thanks to my awesome pal, Oui Oui, for hosting this really fun event.  I'm excited to share about my family near and far, AND to meet the families of all my TCC buddies!

Lots of you already know my sisfurs, Gracie and Zoe.  They are beautiful house panthers, and Mom and Dad adopterated them from PAWS this past September.  They are littermates, about 10 years old, and they enjoy doing lots of stuff together (here they are, watching some Bird TV).

Gracie (blue collar) and Zoe (pink collar)
Even though they are both super sweet and look a lot alike, Gracie and Zoe have very distinct personalities.  Gracie is the true snuggler of the family, very smart, and she loves a good belly rub.  Zoe is snuggly, too, but also has a child-like quality about her. She is always making us laugh with her antics (stuff like chasing flies, posing like a bunny, and running so fast that she skids on the hardwood floor).

This is my adorable cousin, Zoey.  She lives in Southern California with Dad's sister and nephew.  As you can see, she makes a very good monorail cat. :)

I also have an honorary family from Michigan, the Cherry City Kitties!  Two of them -- Dexter and Willow -- are in the Tabby Cat Club!  Dexter, Harry and Tipp offered to be my honorary brofurs when Sammy had to go to the Bridge.  How pawsome is that?  Of course I said yes, because you can never have too many brofurs.  AND I got a new sisfur (Willow), and an honorary mom (Carolyn) and dad (Mark), too!  (By the way, Dad borrowed these beautiful pictures of the Cherry City Kitties from their blog.)

My honorary family! Clockwise, from top left: Dexter, Harry, Willow and Tipp
I also have three cat cousins in Seattle. Their names are Yuki, Mochi and Ella.  And my dog cousin Bella lives there, too!  Dad has some pictures of them all somewhere, but wasn't able to find them in time for my post.  So even though I don't have pictures to share right now, we love Yuki, Mochi, Ella and Bella very much.

So, that's my family.  I hope you enjoyed getting to know them!  Okay, I'm off to go and meet all of YOUR families now.  How exciting! :)

Hugs and headbonks,

Moosey :)

CB Paris Trip - Moosey, Oui Oui, Dexter, Willow (and our families)!

BONJOUR everybuddy!  It's me, Moosey!  I made it to Paris!  As you can see, I'm palling around with my honorary siblings, the Cherry City Kitties (fellow TCC members Dexter and Willow, and Harry Nutkin and Tipp) and my good buddies from Twinkletoe Tails (TCC member Oui Oui, and Julie, Carlos, and Mica Minnie Moo)!  Here we all are yesterday in the gardens at Versailles:
Then we went inside the palace.  There are SO many rooms.  You could fit A LOT of kitties in there!  Here I am with the Twinkletoe Tails Gang in the Hall of Mirrors:
It was super tiring exploring the entire palace, and we needed to catch our breath.  This is Marie Antoinette's bed that Dexter, Willow and I are resting on.  It was very comfortable!
Zzzzzzzzzzz....
Then it was off to see the Eiffel Tower!  All of us who are Tabby Cat Club members thought it was a great opportunity to take a picture together.  That's Oui Oui, Willow, Dexter and me!
TCC friends forever!
All that sightseeing made us really hungry.  Everybuddy thought fish sounded good, and we found this sushi restaurant (who would have thought?).  As you can see, Dexter and I were trying to figure out whether or not that woofie was nice.  He was!
Today, we started things off at the Arc de Triomphe.  Hey, Harry and Oui Oui ... watch out for those cars, okay?
Then we visited some pretty gardens.  We played in the grass, which was lush and green.  Here are Julie, Carlos and Tipp taking a little break:
Paris also has awesome museums.  Here's Mica Minnie Moo, having some fun at the Musee d'Orsay.  She sure does a great lion impression, doesn't she? :)
Good one, Mica Minnie Moo!
We also went to the Louvre!  Check out Harry demonstrating (with the Venus de Milo) how he gets his mom's attention. MOL!
Scratch, scratch, scratch...
Then we walked around the city.  We got off the Metro (subway) at the Ile de la Cite station, and when we came out from underground, we stumbled upon ... wait for it ... THE BIRD MARKET!  No, seriously!!!
OMC!  Can you believe this???
And here I am with my honorary family, the Cherry City Kitties, in front of the world famous Moulin Rouge.
Tipp, Harry Nutkin, me, Dexter and Willow

Big thanks to Gracie for hosting this summer's Cat Blogosphere trip.  We're having so much fun! We're all tuckered out from our adventures so far.  So it's off to the hotel for some rest.
Bon Nuit! (That means "good evening!") :)
