Feeling Tired

How is everyone doing today?  I am running behind on everything this week and feeling a bit more tired than usual.  I have been going non stop for over a month now trying to get thing done in and around our house.
I do have a lot to share with you just some of these cards were made forever ago.
This first one I was trying to get her done last week for our Blog Hop but I ran out of time. I finally finished her this week.

I used Caron Vinson's "Scorpio" (Sheet #1 Plate #77) and cut her out and added some foam square for some dimension.
I used some Basic Grey DP., I love the colors in this papers.  I added some sparkle to her wings with a Sakura Clear Gel Pen.

For this one I kept it simple to showcase the beautiful image. This image is by our artist Katerina Koukiotis called "Secret Garden"  and she can be found on Sheet #3, Plate #159.

For this one I used one the ching chou kuiks black and white art images and she can be found on sheet 14, plate #43.

I used one of  Brigid Ashwood's Phunky Phairies sheet 2 (plate 75) called "Darja".

I wanted to make her with Mardi Gras colors.  I guess I am not afraid now to use primary colors any more.

Thanks for stopping by and there is still a sale for $2 each on a lot of stamps over at the Sweet Pea Store.

Go HERE to pick some up for yourself , oh and maybe a friend. You know Christmas will be here soon.

Scorpio

Hi everyone :) I'm excited to share another card with you today with a new illustrator for Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is illustrated by the incredibly talented Caron Vinson. It's called Scorpio and you can find it HERE. I colored the image with copics and then lightly inked around the image with purple ink using my Tim Holtz blending tool. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from DCWV (the Black Currant stack . . . this paper is GORGEOUS!). For some finishing touches, I added a bow (tied with my Bow Easy), pearls, Primas, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Thanks so much for stopping by. Make sure to check out all the new artists at Sweet Pea Stamps!

Hugs, Christine
