Parisian Romance - Vintage Love Giftset

Good Morning Everyone!

Happy Monday :) Today is my last day as Guest Designer for FireCracker Designs by Pamela and I created a little giftset with a vintage feel for my friend's birthday. She loves to create jewelry and I thought making her a little box to hold her jeweled creations would be a perfect bday present. I used the beautiful set: Parisian Romance:

I loved making this card - I love looking at vintage pieces - but cannot really make them but I found this beautiful and GORGEOUS paper from Graphic 45 and couln't wait to create this project with it :) Here is a picture of the card:

Here is a close up peek at the Eiffel Tower - I added a little vintage heart button to the top of the Bo Bunny flower (I have had this button for 3 years - and am so glad to finally use it!)

Here is a close up picture of the love sentiment with a little heart punched out with some bling and pearls (reminds me of the song "Diamonds and Pearls" by Prince :)

I decorated this box with the papers (a little bit of Zip Dry goes a long way) and then used the same Eiffel Tower Image but used the smaller size stamp for this box. I tied the ribbon across the box and then added a bow on the top with some glue dots :) Here is a picture of the box (both top and side):

And here is a picture of the front of the box :) I added the same bling as on the card and the whole box measures about 3x3 . I can't wait to give this present to her tonight!! I still have some time to go shopping and find some perfect jeweled piece to put inside the box before she opens it!
Card Ingredients:
Paper: Graphic 45 (Communique)
Stamps: Parisian Romance by FireCracker Designs
Inks: Memento Potter's Clay and Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Bling, pearls, heart punch by Martha, Spellbinder tags, Bo Bunny Flowers, vintage heart button, ribbon,

A huge thanks to Pamela for allowing me to Guest Design this month! I have absolutely LOVED working with this gorgeous set!! And I can't wait to give this present to my friend tonight! But first off - to shop for some jewelry to put in it - one of my favorite things to do (aside from shopping at the scrapbook store! :)

Wishing you all a wonderful Monday!!!
Big hugs!
Sankari :)

Always and Forever - FireCracker Designs

Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Monday! This is the third week of being a Guest Designer for FireCracker Designs - where this month I am truly loving playing with the beautiful stamp set: Parisian Romance - all of the images and sentiments are tres romantic! I love this fleur de lis stamp set which was so much fun to color in (I tried to give it a gradient look of darker on the bottom to lighter on the top) and also simply loved the font on this sentiment. Initially, I had a black ribbon for the card, but somehow it felt too much so I thought maybe a silver one might be better?
Here is a closer peek at the card - I loved giving the fleur de lis an extra shine with the crystal lacquer and then adding some bling with some rhinestones (one little tip is to add some TomBow to your rhinestones for a more assured stickiness :)

Card Ingredients:
Paper: Prism Cardstock and Bazzil bascis
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Brilliance silver
Accessories: copics, sakura glaze, liquid glaze, rhinestones from Kaiser, cuttlebug embossing folder, heart punch from MS, EK success punch and tombow adhesive

I really loved making this card - and can't wait to give it to DH for Valentine's Day! Maybe I should share my stamps with DH this year and ask for a homemade card too!!! If I do and if he does it - I will definitely post it on my blog!!! You can check out more of these wonderful stamps here and also check out Pamela's blog (the owner of Firecracker Designs). This month, Pamela is offering $2 off the purchase of this stamp set: A Parisian Romance with the coupon code "sankari " :)
Thank you so much Pamela!!!

Can you believe that we are more than halfway thru January? Is it me or is this month flying by?? Hope you are having a beautiful Monday!
Big hugs!
Sankari :)

Bisous Pour Toi - Kisses for You Card :))))

Happy Monday Everyone!

I am so excited for January - for alot of reasons (one reason has 3 letters in it: CHA :) and also because I am the guest designer for Fire Cracker Designs by Pamela for this month! Thank you so much Pamela (and Libby) for this great opportunity! I used the lovely set Parisian Romance to create my card for today - I absolutely love this Eiffel Tower stamp and the sentiment that is half in English and half in French: (Bisous Pour Toi, Kisses For You).

I am usually more of a bright color kind of girl - but for this card, I wanted to create something softer and romantic - I used sweet pink paper from Teresa Collins. Here is a closer peek at the card
Card Ingredients:
Paper: Teresa Collins
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and LadyBug Red
Accessories: Circle punch CM, Scallop punch from SU, EK success punches, ribbon from stash, bling from Kaiser, hearts from K&Co, corner rounder, I forgot where the key is from and Sakura glaze pens and sponger.

I had so much fun creating this Parisian Valentine :) And I think I know just the perfect person to give it to!!! ;) You can check out more about Firecracker Designs here and also on Pamela's sweet blog!!! And Pamela is generously giving all of you who are reading this $2 off the purchase of the Parisian Romance stamps set when using the coupon code "sankari" :) Thank You so much Pamela!!!
