Some Bo Bunny, CARDS and Update on Challenges

HI! Hope you and your family had a wonderful Easter! We had a lovely day and enjoyed our Easter vacation. I just wish time didn't move as fast as it does, its already over :(  Can't wait till we take a trip to the beach very soon, either next weekend or the week after... gotta get the plans together but im ready to get out of this town.

Today I want to share with you a page I did for the Bo Bunny layout challenge Friday... I love Bo Bunny DP and goodies, they have such great lines of paper and accessories. I really enjoy working with their products. I decided to do this layout then frame it in a shadow box. I put it on top of my cute little scalloped shelf, I will change it around and add some other things on the shelf I just put the globe there for now to take the picture. The pictures of my daughter are from 2007, from our trip to see the Blue Angels. It was her first trip to the area and to see the Blue Angels. She wanted to stop at the beach and the flowers caught her eye and she put one in her hair and posed :) so cute!

Next I would like to share a birthday card that I did for CARDS magazine submissions call. Deadline is April 10th so I got it in just in time. I plan to do another before the deadline to submit.

And I wanted to show you this magnetic jar board I got today from Costco for $20!! Love it! I will use it for my brads and eyelets. It will come in super handy! I found it in the kitchen section of Costco. It has a stand in the back or you can mount it to the wall.

Also I will be starting the challenges this week and they will be each week on the same day. I have some wonderful sponsors so be sure to check back because the prizes are wonderful!!! I hope you will join in.

Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday and a great week!!

Bo Bunny Challenge and Cards blog Challenge

Here is a couple of cards I did this weekend. First one is for the Bo Bunny Card Challenge Tuesdays, I love their challenges they always mix them up. I made this card for a friend of mine who just had surgery, they love the beach and surfing so I used Bo Bunny's new line to create it:

Ingredients:

Paper: Bo Bunny Paradise Locals line
Ink: Tim Holtz distress chipped sapphire

The next card I did today was for the Cards Blog challenge. The challenge was to make a card using Birds excluding Owls.

Ingredients:
Paper: Kraft cardstock
Stamps: Unity Stamp Co. & Jillybean Soup
Accessories: PTI buttons & ribbon
Tech: Heat Embossing

Hope you enjoyed my lil cards. And I hope you had a nice weekend! We didnt do too much, just didnt feel up to it. We went to a friends to make them dinner (she just had surgery) so that was nice and today we did necessary cleaning and yard work. And tonight I enjoyed hanging out at the PTI forum and FB fan page for the release party... it was fun but I spent too much money LOL

I also went to BIG LOTS and made out! If you have a nice Big Lots where you are, get there soon. I got 11 Hampton Arts acrylic stamp sets, 3 sets of Thickers, and 3 sets of Basic Grey chipboard all for a buck each! It was a steal!! The stamp sets and chipboard are so nice! I was lucky to find so much.

Have a wonderful week!! Im bummed the weekends over. Back to work!

A win, Cafe challenge and the weekend

Im a goofball and somehow missed the post but I WON Bo Bunny Color Challenge Tuesday!! SO EXCITED!!! See the post HERE from the card I did HERE. I love Bo Bunny and I love their challenges! Cant wait to do the next one... if you dont already participate you should check out the Bo Bunny blog and join in!

Here is a card I did for the
Playdate Cafe. I love color challenges, thats the best part to me about paper-crafting is color. I love color. My favorite colors are pink, teal and brown and I love bright cheerful color combos so it was fun to break away from my usual bright color palette and do a nice vintage color challenge.

Heres the color inspiration:

And heres my card, I did 2 versions. One with the twine ribbon and one without. Which do you like best? I couldn't decide so I decided to post both. :)

Ingredients:
Paper: Stampin Up, Papertrey Ink and DCWV Vintage Stack
Stamps: Tim Holtz Lost and Found
Other: Nestabilities labels 8, Pearls

And I got this award from a sweet friend Heather... I love reading her comments and look forward to each one and I enjoying visiting her blog and seeing all her beautiful creations! Shes such a doll! :D Thx so much xx

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I plan on catching up on some zzz's and sleeping in and then we might take a ride up to the snow... our daughter wants to go so bad I on the other hand don't want to freeze! lol But we need to get out of here and spend some time together just the 3 of us.
