Glue Dots Altered Art Projects and NEW Dots!

Hi everyone! (: Today I am sharing a couple of projects using some new Glue Dots products. They are so handy and I am so glad they came out with these.

Tissue Paper Flowers project:

For this Flower frame I used the 2" XXL Glue Dots. The background stamp is from Hero Arts Newpaper background and the twine is from The Twinery.

Project Instructions:
- Cut white cardstock to desired size for your frame.
- Stamp background with your choice of ink.
- Mist with Tattered Angels Snowflake mist.
- Adhere twine stem and leaves with Micro Glue Dots.
- Stamp sentiment on background.
- Cut a piece of tissue paper about 1ft long and fold in half.

- Scrunch

- Using the 2" XXL Glue Dot roll the folded tissue paper in a circle around the dot while folding it until you cover the whole dot.

-Adhere to your background.
- You can spritz your flowers with mist like I did to give them shine.
- Adhere a button to the center if desired.

Wool Felt Flowers project:

For this project I used the 1" XL Glue Dots. The background stamp is the same I used for the project above, the felt is from Papertrey Ink, twine is from The Twinery, flower die and cloud die is from My Favorite Things and the sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

Project Instructions:
- Cut white cardstock to the shape for your frame and stamp with the background stamp.
- I spritzed the background with Studio Calico Mister Huey misters.
- Cut your choice of colored felt or you can use cardstock and die cut flowers and cloud.
- Adhere twine stem and leaves with Micro Glue Dots.
- Roll your flower until you get your desired look then adhere with the 1" XL Glue Dots.
-Adhere flowers to background.
- Stamp sentiment to bg.

Sailin by to share a card

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share a quick card with you. Haven't had much time to craft this week, I'm still organizing everything in my new room. I love being in here though. My design computer, the PC, is still without Internet. We are waiting for the people to come and repair the line for Internet in the bedroom. Hope to have it up and running tomorrow so I can get working on my design orders. It's also my crazy time at work, always at the beginning of the month so I have been super busy there too. So much on my to do list, I hope to get some caught up this weekend.

So for my card I wanted to share, I did this quick card using Nautical from my friend Kim's stamps, Wilson Designs. When I went up to her house to visit her I stole this set (lol jk). Isn't it a cute set? If you haven't checked it out, be sure to HERE.

I colored the sailboat with Copics and then used my colorless blender to make the polka dots and stripes. I also used the wave and cloud die from My Favorite Things.

Well im off to bed! Im beat!

Thanks for peekin' in!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
TGIF! Hugs, Jenny :) :) :)

Twine-a-licious!

Hello there friends! Hope your week is going well!!

I miss posting my own creations on here as I haven't been doing much of that lately. So much behind the scenes going on. I have been really swamped with family stuff, DT work, Challenge stuff, PC, CARDS and Cardmaker Submissions and my job. But good things are to come and I cant wait to share with you!

Right now I would like to share with you a couple of cards I did tonight playing around with my Twine from The Twinery. I love the twine ... and all the variety of colors are awesome!! Isn't the twine gorgeous? Be sure to check out all the twine over at The Twinery!

First one I did is using the twine to make the main image. Here I used the Peapod twine to make a Shamrock. I just freehanded it with some Glossy Accents to make the shape to stick the twine to. I never cut the twine, just used the beginning to the end, just keep turning and overlapping the twine. For the sentiment, I made it myself using Harold's ABC from Lawn Fawn. And finished it off adding more of the Peapod twine to my button. Our family is part Irish and I just LOVE shamrocks, green and March!

Next card I did is for the new Hero Arts challenge - Birthdays and Stamped Envelopes. So on this card I used the Hero Arts Envelop Pattern stamp for my yellow background, it makes such a cute background as well as a great liner for an envelope using the HA Envelope Line Templete, I just ordered one along with the HA Envelop Templete. For my images I used the HA Happy Day Animals, love this set ... its so cute. To finish it off I framed it with the Peapod twine from The Twinery (I love framing scenes with my twine), stamped my sentiment and added a button with more Peapod twine and added a Cloud using my MFT flat bottom cloud die and grass die. I LOVE dies and MFT has the best and lots of them!

Thanks for stopping in and letting me share my creations with you today.
I hope I can inspire you to break out your twine and get creating with it! Its allot of fun and so many things you can do with it especially with all the colors The Twinery offers to you. Be sure to check it out!

Have a wonderful day!
Hugs and Blessings,
:) :) :) Jenny
