Sunday Scrap - Big Blow.

Hi, Happy Sunday. For today's Scrap Page I've used this weeks sketch challenge #214 from Pencil Lines. I just discovered Pencil Lines the international sketch challenge blog this week. With designers from all over the world I'm sure to get plenty of inspiration. This weeks sketch was designed by the super talented Laura Vegas. This sketch was great for me as I struggle a bit with multiple photos.

And here is my page. Zach again, the camera just loves him, having a bubble bath.

I've used Vellum circles to represent the bubbles and the Extreme Elements stamp set in the background. The Vellum bubbles are really good for covering up .... things. You know what I mean!

Recipe (All Products are from Stampin' Up!)
Stamp Sets: Defining Alphabet, Extreme Elements, Dotted Lines Wheel
Card: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Vellum
DSP: Elegant Soiree
Ink: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake
Punches: 1/2", 3/4" 1 1/4", 1 3/8" circles, scallop circle
Accessories: baja breeze ribbon, linen thread

That's it from me today, have a great Sunday.

Sunday Scrap - Up, Up & Away.

I finally got some Scraping time. Today's page is of Alex when he was 3 years old, as most 3 year olds he loved to dress up and his Super Man costume was one of his favorites. There is not much stamping on this page just the Dotted Lines Wheel I rolled onto the metal edge tag. The Dotted Lines Wheel is excellent for Journaling.

Ink" Daffodil Delight
Punches: word window, 1 3/8" circle
Accessories: Pacific Point ribbon, silver Jumbo brad, metal edge tag

Sunday Scrap

Hi and happy Sunday. Don't you just love Sunday's, I love lazying around Sunday mornings. Again this week I didn't get much scrapping time (none) but I found this 8x8 Scrap page in my photo folder just waiting to be posted. The photo is of Zach when he was 7 months old just starting to sit up by himself.
The stamp set used is Baroque Motifs, such a beautiful stamp set. I have made my own metal embellishments by building up layers of silver embossing powder then while still hot pressed the stamp into the melted powder. The punched eyelet border strip has been put through the crimper for a ruffled look. The colours are Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy and Very Vanilla.

Here is a close up of the fake metal embellishments.

Have a wonderful day.

Hi and Happy Sunday. Well I didn't get any Scrapin' done this week, I've been working on some Christmas projects, so today I have a Scrap Page I made a while ago. This page is of Rebecca quite a few years ago when she did gymnastics. She was a real climber when she was little and I was always worried that she would fall and hurt herself, so Gymnastics was perfect for her and she loved it.
Please note that some of the colours and products on this page are no longer available.

Sunday Scrap - Halloween.

Since it's Halloween I thought a Halloween Scrap page would be fitting for this week Sunday Scrap. This page was really fun to make.
The highlight of the page is the purple owl sitting in front of a glittery moon. I've used the stars from the Extreme Elements stamp set with StazOn White ink and also sponged a bit to make it look a bit like fog. And added rhinestones for added sparkle. The moon and the title "BOO" have been covered in Dazzling Diamonds with heat & stick powder.

Here is a close up of the sparkly moon and owl.

Sunday Scrap.

Hi, It Sunday again and the good thing about this Sunday is that the kids go back to school tomorrow. Yeh! Just kidding, I do love having extra time to spend with them and I really love sleeping in.
Today's page is the one we made at Amanda's last weekend. Showing off lots of the new punches. As you know I am a punch addict and I almost always use at least one punch in every project. We used 5 punches on this 8 x 8 page and we had lots of fun playing with them all, especially the 2 step owl punch. He is just adorable. We also used the Greenhouse Gala DSP, the Little Leaves Sizzlits die and the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder on the flower center. The title is using the Wonderful Favorites stamp set.
The photo is of Zach and his wonderful friend Nadia, taken in the Easter school holidays. We had a fantastic day at Kings Park and Nadia was testing out her new camera. I have lots of great photo's from that day which I hope to scrap one day soon.
Here is a close up of the Fancy Flower and 2 Step Owl Punch.

Sunday Scrap.

Hi, another boy page today for Sunday Scrap. This is Alex at his very first Sports Day at Preschool. It is quite tricky to fit a lot of photo's on one page but with a bit of cropping I managed to get 5 photo's on there. I know it's hard to see here but in every photo he has the biggest smile on his face, he had such a fun day.
Again I have used the Big Shot with the Timeless Type Jnr Alpha dies for my title. There are a few different elements for the embellishments, metal edge tags, ribbon, DSP Good Morning Sunshine, punched shapes, rhinestone brads and a button. Which combine to make a bright and fun page.

Hope your having a fabulous weekend.

Sunday Scrap.

Hi, hope your all having a happy Scrappy Sunday. Today's page is a simple one of a fun trip to Wellington Point with great friends a few years ago. Jamie is the main subject on this page because he fell in the hole the kids were digging. It was so funny, I just love the look on his face. So the photo's are a bit blurry but it doesn't matter as they hold special memories for us.
I have done a bit of sewing on this page, used the big shot again (love it) stamped a couple of cute fish from the Ocean Commotion stamp set and added some rub-ons. Using up left overs.

Here is a few close ups, don't you love that look, I grin every time I look at it.
Jamie was not happy at all.
Just realized I have the wrong year on the tag, it should be 2006.
Better change that.

Recipe
Stamp Set: Ocean Commotion
Card: Kraft, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White
Ink: VersaMark, Tempting Turquoise, Pixie Pink
Tools: Big Shot-Timeless Type Jnr Alpha & Numbers dies, Lots of Tags dies, sewing machine
Accessories: Rub-Ons- Loop to Loop (level 3 hostess), linen thread, brad
.
Bye for now.

I used the punched out negative for the "16" and the little bracket is made from double punching with the curly label punch. I've also used lots of different brads & eyelets. Julie has inspired me to use up my scraps.
