Hello...and Goodbye CPS...

 It is bittersweet to see the end of CPS...  Bitter in the sense of the end of something we have greatly enjoyed and sweet in the sense of knowing how much we all have grown as card designers through participating in CPS.  The CPS DT is the sweetest group of ladies and I have been privileged to be part of the team since May 2011.

For my card I used paper from the sponsor this month, The Paper Loft.  I did a bit of scoring and distressing for my card.

With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, I did want to share info about a card drive for a dear lady that Tami knows... Here is a link and info from her blog:

Today I have a card to share that I made for the CPS 285 sketch challenge.  I used the leaves from Leaf Silhouettes and stamped them using Clearsnap ink...obviously this is a favorite stamp set of mine as I have used it the past couple of weeks :)  Hope you can play along with our challenge this week, it is a fun one!

Today I have a card to share that I made for the CPS 284 sketch challenge.  I used the leaves from Leaf Silhouettes and paired it with some Simple Stories patterned paper.  Quite a simple card really as one of the page in the paper pack included this so very blessed saying...LOVE that!

Remember...I Love You

   

I made this for the CPS 5th Anniversary Challenge.  I hosted Day 11 and used The {Stamps} of Life .  For my card, I used two sets list2write and love2hug, as well as Stephanie Barnard inks and love how it turned out.  You can find more details on the challenge HERE.

  I made this for the CPS251 sketch challenge.  For my card, I used ColorBox Chalk Dark Brown, Popcorn and Archival Putty ink from (Clearsnap) and the Sweet n' Sassy Stamps stamp set Warm Hello.  Love this cute little snowman and just had to paper piece his scarf.

I made this for the CPS239 sketch challenge and our sponsor this week is Want2Scrap.  For my card I used Mix'd Media Truffle ink from Clearsnap and embossed it with clear embossing powder before die cutting it with Fancy Tags 2.  The patterned paper is Graphic 45 and the pearl bling is  Nestabling Fancy Tags Two White Pearl.  Love this NOEL sentiment from Christmas Verses ~ Layers of Color. It is my "go-to" set for Christmas sentiments!

I made this for the CPS233 sketch this week.  Clearsnap is sponsoring this week and I used Smooch Spritz in Holly Berries and Gingerale.  It is a beautiful spritz ink that gives nice coverage.  I used some stamps from Layers of Color Flutterescent and Merci Bouquet, as well as the stencil Vintage Medallion.  The bling is from Want2Scrap.

Just a heads up...Layers of Color is having a Fall Release coming very soon... Monday, September 19th to be exact!
