Why is Disney's Black Princess selling Watermelon flavored Candy?
Call it racism, call it crazy, but this is very interesting to see. Disney uses their princesses to sell everything; but this is some mess about to blow up.
As you can see, Princess Tiana is on the Watermelon packet, and Aurora is on the Vanilla one. Again, this could be a honest mistake or sorts, but you can't deny the issues around this.
Most folks know that Watermelon has been a negative racial issue for Blacks for years. I would've thought Disney would know that. And then pairing these two together? Hopefully, somebody realized this and at least, talked about... I hope.

Arizona's Anti-American Campaign targets Ethnic Studies
Demon Queen, Gov. Jan Brewer just keeps the race hate going in Arizona.
She just signed a bill targeting a school district's ethnic studies program. This bill is supposed to stop any class from promoting the overthrow of the our government, resentment toward a race or class of people, or anything focusing on students from a particular racial group.
Here's more:
State schools chief Tom Horne, who has pushed the measure for years, said a Tucson school district program promotes "ethnic chauvinism" and racial resentment toward whites while segregating students by race.
"It's just like the old South, and it's long past time that we prohibited it," Horne said.
The measure prohibits classes that advocate ethnic solidarity, that are designed primarily for students of a particular race or that promote resentment toward a certain ethnic group. It also prohibits classes that promote the overthrow of the U.S. government.
The Tucson Unified School District program offers specialized courses in African-American, Mexican-American and Native-American studies that focus on history and literature and include information about the influence of a particular ethnic group.
For example, in the Mexican-American Studies program, an American history course explores the role of Hispanics in the Vietnam War, and a literature course emphasizes Latino authors.
Horne said he believes the Mexican-American studies program teaches Latino students that they are oppressed by white people. Public schools should not be encouraging students to resent a particular race, he said.
So you can't talk about the truth about America, just the fantasy version. Gotta love the foolishness of Arizona.

Jersey Shore may get Shut Down
Labeled as a modern day minstrel show, Jersey Shore, is getting heat from the NJ lawmakers!
The latest criticism comes from the New Jersey Italian American Legislative Caucus, which says the show promotes derogatory ethnic stereotypes and is "wildly offensive."
In a letter sent Tuesday to the president of Viacom, MTV's parent company, caucus chairman Joseph Vitale asks that the show be immediately taken off the air.
The state lawmakers also have asked advertisers to boycott the show, which focuses on eight tanned 20-somethings and their escapades in Seaside Heights, a popular New Jersey beach town.
On Wednesday, a Viacom spokesman referred a request for comment to an MTV spokesperson, who did not immediately respond. MTV has said its intention is not to stereotype or offend.
Wow, it's interesting how this show is getting hounded. I can't blame them, the show is horrible! I wonder if they will succeed with shutting it down.
