Lt Dan Choi and Captain James Pietrangelo has subpoena Obama
The WTF moment of the week will go to Dan Choi and James Pietrangelo. They are demanding Obama to testify in their trial on minor civil disobedience charges.
The subpoena seeks to compel the testimony of President Barack Obama who has, on several occasions as President and Commander in Chief (and previously as a Senator and Presidential Candidate) called on the LGBT community to "pressure" him to change the DADT law and policy, thus allowing gay service members to serve their country openly and honorably.
The subpoena of the President is necessary for the defense to prove that Defendants were following and obeying lawful orders or directives by their President and Commander in Chief, and were therefore under an obligation and authority to act as they did in order to pressure him - in a non-violent, visible way - on this important public issue. In addition, these statements support the contention that Defendants were acting out of necessity, in order to prevent discrimination and greater harm to gay service members now serving.
They claim they are following orders from Obama? I think they are being ridic. I'm sorry, but they are daft to think Obama is going to stand trial. And does this taint their activism?
Who are their lawyers? And will the military talk some sense into them? This has to be the worst move ever. Somebody please, get them off this burning train.

NOM going on Tour this Summer
Get ready, y'all! NOM is going on tour to promote hate and bigotry to the masses.
In a few days, NOM will be launching our Summer for Marriage Tour 2010, taking the message for marriage directly to the American people and building support for marriage all across the eastern half of the United States.
Over 33 days, we’ll travel more than 6000 miles, holding rallies in 23 cities from Maine to Minnesota to Atlanta and Tampa before heading back to Washington, DC for the tour finale on August 15th.
Many of the states we’ll be visiting are key battlegrounds in this critical debate, as we work to organize grassroots support for marriage as the union of a husband and wife at both the state federal levels, building support for state marriage amendments and opposing the repeal of DOMA.
Please visit www.marriagetour2010.com for the latest tour information, including the bus schedule, a chance to register for email alerts from the tour, and video footage of each tour stop.
We need your help to make this summer’s tour a success! Please click here to make your online contribution today. $60 would cover a penny per mile! $115 would be $5 toward the costs of each rally. Whatever you can give will go far as we work together to organize support for marriage all across the nation!
Then tell your friends and come out to see us when we come to your hometown this summer!
Okay, this is where GetEQUAL should come in. They can attack NOM at each stop. Hell, if they come to L.A., I will be out there shouting and throwing balled up The Gates promo posters at them.
Atheist "One Nation Indivisible" Ad Defaced
An Atheist group paid for this billboard to be displayed on Billy Graham Parkway last week, then out of nowhere, it was defaced:
“It was done by one or two people off on their own who decided their only recourse was vandalism rather than having a conversation,” Charlotte Atheists & Agnostics spokesman William Warren said. “It does show how needed our message is. As atheists, we want to let people know we exist and that there’s a community here.” Warren told the Observer when the sign first went up that its location wasn't intended as a rebuke to the Rev. Graham.
He said the group has added more than 50 members since the ad went up. Atheist ads are often a target for vandals. Three of 10 atheist billboards erected in Sacramento, Calif., were defaced in February, and a series of atheist bus ads was recently vandalized in Detroit.

This is Wonder Woman's New Costume? Hell Naw!
I'm NOT feeling this!!!
Newsrama cover this news:
Wonder Woman has a bold new look, one of the most dramatic costume changes of her 70-year history.
Criticized for years for fighting crime in effectively a one-piece swimsuit — often considered either sexist or simply impractical — the DC Comics icon has a new costume as of this week's Wonder Woman #600, and it's one considerably less revealing, complete with long pants and a jacket. Signature elements such as the character's tiara and magic lasso remain. The costume was designed by noted penciler and DC Comics co-publisher Jim Lee.
DC Comics announced the change Tuesday evening, with new writer J. Michael Straczynski quoted by the publisher as saying, "It’s a look designed to be taken seriously as a warrior, in partial answer to the many female fans over the years who’ve asked, 'how does she fight in that thing without all her parts falling out?'"
Straczynski noted to DC Comics that the new outfit is Wonder Woman's "first significant change in her appearance since the character debuted in 1941," with the notable exception of a mod bodysuit briefly sported in the '60s.
With the new costume comes a new direction for the title. The Olympian deities responsible for Wonder Woman's creation have shifted the timeline so Paradise Island — Wonder Woman's homeland — was no longer under their protection.
Again, not feeling this at all! She looks like the Black Canary!! What do you think?
Kagan vs Sessions
Kagan on DADT
Kagan Tells Sessions that her politics are separate from her judging
Sessions is taken aback
Somebody slap him
The Challenge to DADT goes back into Court
Guess what?
We have another DADT case heading into court. This one is sponsored by the Log Cabin Republicans.
A judge has agreed to hear a case challenging the U.S. government's "don't ask, don't tell' policy against openly gay soldiers.Lawyer Dan Woods says U.S. District Court Judge Virginia A. Phillips in Riverside, Calif. agreed Monday to send the case to trial July 13.
Woods is representing the Log Cabin Republicans, a group rights group.
He says the group hopes to end the 1993 policy by having it declared unconstitutional.
If the group wins, Woods says it could set a precedent for the entire nation.
The Obama administration supports the drive to repeal the ban but faces a tough road ahead in the full Senate, where Republicans are likely to filibuster it.
I know Obama's folks may DADT in court, I'm not a fan of that, but I get it. It is still law, however I hope this case crack DADT enough to take it down in the months to come.
Is this the X-Men: First Class' Emma Frost?
I think we may have our Emma Frost.
Deadline reports:
Alice Eve is now in negotiations to play Emma Frost in X-Men: First Class, the 20th Century Fox prequel that Matthew Vaughn will direct. Her power in the mutant universe is telepathy, and she was voted Hottest Comic Book Babe of 2005 in one poll. She started out as an X-Men nemesis and became an ally. Eve joins James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, previously set as lead mutants Xavier and Magneto. Also in the Marvel pantheon, Tommy Lee Jones has been confirmed to play Colonel Phillips in Captain America: The First Avenger, the Joe Johnston-directed Marvel Studios film that Paramount will distribute. Not sure why Emma is in the movie. But I guess since Fox has screwed up the X-Men continuum, why not keep it going.
Keith Phoenix is Finally Convicted of Hate Crime Murder
Over a year ago, Keith Phoenix murdered Jose O. Sucuzhanay on a Brooklyn street last year because he thought he was gay.
He went court and it was declared a mistrial because the jury wasn't sure on the story. But new trial wasn't that long. The jury found Keith guilty of a Hate Crime Murder!
Gay City News reports:
“This verdict sent the right message,” said Diego Sucuzhanay, another of José’s brothers, after the jury announced its verdict at roughly 9:30 p.m. on June 28. “We believe that justice has been done for our brother.”Finally, this is done... I hope.
Phoenix, 30, and Hakim Scott, 27, assaulted the brothers after mistaking them for a gay couple as they were walking home early in the morning on December 7, 2008 in Brooklyn’s Bushwick section. The two Ecuadorian immigrants were huddled close together to stay warm.
Romel said an anti-Latino slur was used. Two other witnesses heard an anti-gay slur.
Phoenix was convicted on the top counts he faced and could get as much as 40 years in prison for the killing when he is sentenced on August 5. His first trial ended in a mistrial after one juror held out for a manslaughter conviction while the other 11 wanted to convict on second-degree murder. The first jury did not believe the attack was a hate crime.
Scott was convicted on manslaughter and attempted assault charges on May 6, though not as hate crimes. Scott will be sentenced on July 14.
Hate Sex... True Blood style
Sunday's True Blood episode gave a new meaning to hate sex. I'm still pondering over why this happened, but you're curious, here's the scene.

WTF? GOP Candidate Rick Barber talks to a Zombie Abe Lincoln?
Richard Socarides, you ain't slick.
Then yesterday, Richard talked about his article on MSNBC:
Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy
Okay, he's not the biggest fan, I get it. But Rich's back yard ain't that clean. If you don't know, Rich was the man Clinton sent into the LGBT community to smooth over DOMA & DADT. Michael Petrelis presents a couple of articles defining that moment back in the 90s.
Here's a taste:
But if you want to read something online about that disastrous tour for Socarides, check out this excerpt from the SF Weekly's report:I find it very interesting how Rich taking this stance against Obama. Can he really call him out, when his actions are apart of the reason we are in this mess?Bill Clinton's lesbian and gay liaison, Richard Socarides, quietly made the rounds in S.F. last week, unsuccessfully trying to tamp down gay anger over his boss' signing of the Defense of Marriage Act, and generally taking the community's temperature.Or, as Supervisor Leal told her fellow queer supe Tom Ammiano, who couldn't make the meeting with Socarides Sept. 26, "He sure kissed a lot of ass." The meetings -- with gay journalists and elected officials -- were coordinated direct from Clinton/Gore campaign headquarters. So, harbor no doubt about their import.
Bob Ross, publisher of the Bay Area Reporter, said he raked Socarides over the coals for 45 minutes. "He didn't really have any answers for us," Ross says.
If you're still hungry for additional info about Socarides' fierce advocacy - for Clinton back in 1996 - read some of what the Advocate had to say:
Liar, liar, pants on fire! He was the only person who thought those things about his visit here. Where did his loyalties lie? Not with the wider gay community; but with the Clintonistas.Activists also complained that Socarides turned down a chance to link America Online's gay and lesbian area directly to the White House. [...]
And Socarides said he views the trip as a complete success. "The reception I received was extremely warm," he said. "I accomplished what I set out to do."
So in my opinion, Rich really can't get all high and mighty here. If he claims Obama is going to be on the wrong side of history, I guess Rich will be there too. Acting as Clinton's safegay doesn't make you a super gay rights champion.
Senator Robert C. Byrd has Died
One of the oldest members of congress has passed away. Robert C. Byrd died early this morning.
And while I disagree with some of his actions, his story is very interesting. Here's just some of the many tales of his life:
Byrd's accomplishments followed a childhood of poverty in West Virginia, and his success on the national stage came despite a complicated history on racial matters. As a young man, we was a member of the Ku Klux Klan for a brief period, and he joined Southern Democrats in an unsuccessful filibuster against the landmark 1964 Civil Rights Act.
He later apologized for both actions, saying intolerance has no place in America. While supporting later civil rights bills, he opposed busing to integrate schools.
Byrd briefly sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 1976 and later told associates he had once been approached by President Richard M. Nixon, a Republican, about accepting an appointment to the Supreme Court.
But he was a creature – and defender – of Congress across a career that began in 1952 with his election to the House. He served three terms there before winning his Senate seat in 1958, when Dwight D. Eisenhower was in the White House.
He clashed with presidents in both parties and was implacably against proposed balanced budget amendments to the Constitution.
"He is a fierce defender of the Senate and its prerogatives in ways that I think the founding fathers really intended the Senate to be," said one-time rival Kennedy.
In a measure of his tenacity, Byrd took a decade of night courses to earn a law degree in 1963, and completed his long-delayed bachelor's degree at West Virginia's Marshall University in 1994 with correspondence classes.
Byrd was a near-deity in economically struggling West Virginia, to which he delivered countless federally financed projects. Entire government bureaus opened there, including the FBI's repository for computerized fingerprint records. Even the Coast Guard had a facility in the landlocked state. Critics portrayed him as the personification of Congress' thirst for wasteful "pork" spending projects.
Robert Carlyle Byrd was born Nov. 20, 1917, in North Wilkesboro, N.C., as Cornelius Calvin Sale Jr., the youngest of five children.
Before he was 1, his mother died and his father sent him to live with an aunt and uncle, Vlurma and Titus Byrd, who renamed him and moved to the coal-mining town of Stotesbury, W.Va. He didn't learn his original name until he was 16 and his real birthday until he was 54.
Byrd's foster father was a miner who frequently changed jobs, and Byrd recalled that the family's house was "without electricity, ... no running water, no telephone, a little wooden outhouse."
He graduated from high school but could not afford college. Married in 1936 to high school sweetheart Erma Ora James – with whom he had two daughters – he pumped gas, cut meat and during World War II was a shipyard welder.
Returning to meat cutting in West Virginia, he became popular for his fundamentalist Bible lectures. A grand dragon of the Ku Klux Klan suggested he run for office.
He won his first race – for the state's House of Delegates – in 1946, distinguishing himself from 12 rivals by singing and fiddling mountain tunes. His fiddle became a fixture; he later played it on the television show "Hee Haw" and recorded an album. He abandoned it only after a grandson's traumatic death in 1982 and when his shaky hands left him unable to play.
At his 90th birthday party in 2007, however, Byrd joined bluegrass band Lonesome Highway in singing a few tunes and topped off the night with a rendition of "Old Joe Clark."
After six years in the West Virginia legislature, Byrd was elected to the U.S. House in 1952 in a race in which his brief Klan membership became an issue. He said he joined because of its anti-communism.
Byrd entered Congress as one of its most conservative Democrats. He was an early supporter of the Vietnam War, and his 14-hour, 13-minute filibuster against the 1964 civil rights bill remains one of the longest ever. His views gradually moderated, particularly on economic issues, but he always sided with his state's coal interests in confrontations with environmentalists.

My Crazy Idea for a 3rd Batman Movie
The 3rd Batman movie is coming in 2 years. And I got to thinking, what I would do if I had to make this flick?
I thought about it and came up with a crazy plot. So, here is my idea for Batman Trois:
- Batman has been absent for almost a year. Bruce is afraid of causing more harm to anyone and ponders the need for a Batman.
- Crime is back up and the crime lords are battling for control of Gotham.
- One crime lord (I'll call him, Bam) has a powerful string of hookers doing more than just selling sex. Some of thieves and some are hit girls. Selina Kyle is one of his best girls. However, she wants more out of life.
- A new criminal is using riddles and deadly mind games to gain control of Gotham. This person is also becoming the new vigilante of the city. After eliminating a few major criminals, 'The Riddler' is gaining clout, sending a strong message to the others mobsters.
- Meanwhile, Bruce has been watching all of this and decides to sneak back into the madness, but not as Batman. Bruce takes on another persona (Jack).
- Jack/Bruce meets with Bam in hopes to get close to The Riddler. Later he meets Selina. They become close.
- Bam wants to take The Riddler out. He plans on sending in his girls to do it. One of the girls (Kip), a 13 year-old who very eager to please. Selina is also one of the girls.
- Selina is close to Kip and really doesn't want her in this line of the business.
- One of Bam's girls is a double agent and rats him out. The Riddler sends in a team to take out Bam.
- Bam, Kip and several girls are killed. Bruce and Selina barely escape the attack, however Bruce doesn't know if Selina survived. She does.
- Bruce realizes The Riddler must be taken down, so he comes back as Batman.
- The word gets out that Batman is back. Selina decides to go after The Riddler too, but as a someone else... The Catwoman.
- Then the show really starts.

UPDATE
From SFGate
One of three victims of a shooting in San Francisco's Castro District late Saturday night has died from his injuries, according to the medical examiner's office.Stephen Powell, 19, was shot in the torso about 11:30 p.m. at Market and Castro streets during the city's "Pink Saturday" celebrations, police said. The medical examiner's office could not confirm his city of residence.
Powell, along with a 19-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man who were shot in the leg, were taken to a hospital. Powell was subsequently pronounced dead.
The woman and older man are expected to survive, according to police.
A 19-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with the shooting, and police said they recovered the handgun used in the crime.
An attendant at the Chevron gas station, which is adjacent to the nightclub, said he heard four gunshots fired, although thick crowds made it difficult for him to see the scuffle.
A transgender student was attacked at Houston Community College
Fox News in Houston reports:
A transgender student was attacked at knife-point and beaten at Houston Community College and some are calling it a hate crime.
The true motive is still murky, since the suspect also stole the victim’s wallet.
But as a result, Lance Reyna is sorting out stolen credit cards and shaken nerves.
Reyna was born a female but began the gender reassignment process about five years ago.
On Tuesday afternoon, at HCC’s central campus, Reyna used the restroom. He was washing up at the sink when he says a man grabbed him in a headlock, calling out in a mocking voice, “Hey, queer.”
“I was about to say, ‘Okay, cut it out, Brandon,’ or whoever it was like one of my friends,” says Reyna. “Then all of a sudden he put a razor to my neck.”
Reyna remembers panicking as the stranger warned him to be quiet and cooperate.
“I was scared, I really was scared. He had the blade up there and he kind of made little strokes like he was going to cut me. And I'm just like, well, let me tuck my chin in so that way I don't bleed to death.”

Interesting Quote: Stephenie Meyer
"I know that's what everyone cares about. I also know that the right answer would be for me to say 'Oh yah, it's done! And it'll be out next month!' But that's not true. It's also not true that I've got a ton of work done on it, and that's what I'm working on. What's true is that I'm really burned out on vampires. And, I don't want to write it badly. So I want to wait until I'm excited about the material again, and I'm excited about Edward, and that it's something that's motivating. You know, when a story is keeping me up at night, and I'm waking up at 4 am in the morning and thinking 'Yes! That is what should happen in this moment!' Then that is when I can write with happiness! So, right now it feels like homework ... it really does. And when things feel like homework they go very, very slowly for me."
The Queen of the Twinkle Vamps is tired of them... Good.
X-Men Producer Lauren Shuler Donner wants to do Wonder Woman
Lauren Shuler Donner is a major producer and a huge player in the movie game. Her work includes all X-Men movies, You Got Mail and Thank God It's Friday (I'll let X3 and that horrid Wolverine movie slide)
But she wants something else on her long list of films... Wonder Woman!
Miss Girl wants to do Wonder Woman and telling Warners and DC Comics to give it to her.
"I'm campaigning to produce Wonder Woman for DC and Warners," Donner said on June 24 in Burbank, Calif. at the Saturn Awards. "They don't want it, but I just think she's the greatest character. She's right up there, as you know, with Superman and Batman, the three of them. I want to produce Wonder Woman."
The rights are back with DC and Warner Brothers, Donner says. So Donner is making phone calls, taking meetings and telling the press she wants it. "I've campaigned for it. I'm going to campaign some more. I want to produce Wonder Woman."
Donner has done well with the X-Men franchise. Maybe it would take a woman to really understand Wonder Woman. "Look, she's a goddess and a superhero. How great is that? I think you need to stay close to the myth, but the studio I know wants to make it accessible, i.e., somewhat contemporary. I think there is a way to do it."
A new Wonder Woman would be a juicy role for some young actress. Donner would hope to cast a young up-and-comer so she could make a franchise out of it. "I think so, because I'd like it to grow. I think there's a lot of Wonder Woman stories that would be great to tell. I see a couple of them."Donner's version would even be open to women of all types. Princess Diana is usually portrayed as a Caucasian woman, but in 2010 Donner sees a multi-ethnic Wonder Woman. "Oh, definitely. I would hope all movies are. Really, I think all movies should reflect the world."
I want Diana to be as Greek looking as possible. I'm not a fan of changing her to be Black or Asian. Diana is one of the Big Three, she should be respected in the same way as Kal-El and Bruce. If they are going to follow any version, follow George Perez's Wonder Woman. She has to be done right.

It's Official... Friendly's is Trying to Kill you
The food was cute and the shakes were the bomb, it was a nice place. But now, they are trying to kill America.
Look at this! The Grilled Cheese BurgerMelt!
The buns are 2 grilled cheese sandwiches! Okay, it may look good but here's the heartbreaker:
1500 calories (870 of those from fat); 79g of saturated fat; and a whopping 2090mg of sodium (trouncing the Double Down, which weighs in at a paltry 1380mg of salt).
I would have to watch the 3 seasons of She-Ra on the treadmill knock that off! Great Hera, Friendly's!
Peek A Boo, I See your Anti-Gay ass now, boo!
Today the Supreme Court ruled that the names of the folks who signed Referendum 71 in Washington will be made public.
Seattle P.I. reports:
Justices ruled in a case called Doe V. Reed. They heard oral arguments in Washington, D.C., April 28.
The conservative group that tried to block release of the signatures wanted the nation's high court to uphold a lower court ruling that said signing petitions and referendum is constitutionally protected political speech - which by law is OK to engage in anonymously.
The group, Protect Marriage Washington, asked justices to shield the names of the 138,000 people who signed Referendum 71 petitions in hopes of overturning the "everything but marriage" same-sex domestic partner law. In November Washington voters upheld the new statute. Gay rights groups have said they'll post the petition signers' names online, and some fear harassment or threats if their names are revealed.
State officials had said there are laws in place to protect people who might be threatened.
See, you can't hate and hide.
Interesting Quote: American Family Association's President Tim Wildmon
“It’s shameful that adults would abuse a brain-washed child in this way. He’s obviously just parroting the nonsense he’s been told by manipulative adults. For gay activists to trot out this child and make him the poster child for promoting unnatural sexual expression is a form of child abuse.”
Tom believes that Will Phillips being the grand marshal of the Northwest Arkansas pride parade is child abuse.

Someone Lay Hands on Sherri Shepherd
Earlier this week, Sherri said this about the spread of HIV:
Luckily, there were folks to correct her, but it still bothers me that this belief is still alive and being broadcast on TV.
Sherri may not know this, but her statements could continue this sad notion that "down low" Black men are completely at fault. There are many factors to this problem and with her national TV platform, she can change those beliefs. I don't believe Sherri meant any harm, but her statements are quite damaging.
So, I hope somebody sat down and talked with her. Sherri needs to understand and know the power of her voice.

New York Senate Finally passes the Anti-Bullying Bill
After years of fighting for this bill to be real, NY Senate succeeded in passing the Anti-Bullying Bill.
Congrats! The bill passed 58-3, with three Republican senators voting against it: John DeFrancisco, George Maziarz and Dale Volker. Republicans attempted to amend the bill to include “cyber-bullying” that might take place off of school grounds, which amendment sponsor Sen. Stephen Saland called a “glaring omission” from the legislation.
“It’s a very important bill for many many reasons to many many people, and it’s a very important bill for, I hope not too many generations, but certainly at least for a generation or two to come,” said Sen. Tom Duane, D-Manhattan, the bill’s sponsor. “A students ability to excel in school is severely hampered by taunting, or intimidation or bullying.”
The bill would apply to events on school grounds and at school functions. It only applies to public schools. It prohibits harassment, “the creation of a hostile environment by conduct, verbal threats, intimidation or abuse that has or would unreasonably interfere with educational performance, opportunities, benefits, or physical or emotional well being, or cause fear for physical safety” an prohibits discrimination based ond “actual or perceived race, color, weight, national origin, ethnic group, religion, religious practice, disability, sexual orientation, gender or sex.”
“If I hadn’t been afraid in schools, I would have done better in school,” Duane, who is openly gay, said.

A Police Raid on Karbala Safe House raises serious concerns for Irqai Gays
Several international students were discussing this issue today.
Some of them mentioned their concerns of the Iraqi gay community after a police raid at a Karbala safe house last week.
Here's the story:
Last week, twelve police officers are reported to have burst into the safe house, and then violently beat up, and blindfolded the six occupants sheltering there before bundling them off in three vans.
According to a source who witnessed the raid, the police also confiscated computer equipment before burning down the house, the London group said in a statement.
According to reports reaching London, one of the arrested people has turned up in hospital. However, nothing is known about the whereabouts of the other five individuals, which include two gay men, one lesbian and two transgender people.
It is feared they may have been taken to the Interior Ministry in Baghdad, where, it is reported, many gay people have been tortured and executed in the last two years.
Government forces have previously sized people particularly at roadblocks and handed them to militias who have then tortured them and their bodies have later been found.
None of the previous occupying powers have taken any action or delivered any criticism for these atrocities.
Iraqi LGBT feels that the reason that both the British and United States governments in particular have not criticised the Iraqi government is “because of the legacy of the occupation”.
He US and UK have both criticised Malawi and Uganda over LGBT human rights. There is strong religious opposition to homosexuality in both African countries — as there is in Iraq, Iraqi LGBT pointed out.
“Since the fall of Saddam, militias loyal to Shi’a clerics Grand Ayatollah al Sistani and Muqtada al Sadr, both of whom have called for homosexuals to be put to death, have been only too keen to carry out their leaders’ wishes,” the group says.
“Over 720 LGBT people have disappeared or been murdered, many of whom have been tortured to death.
“There is strong evidence that the government is colluding with these militia groups, by rounding up known homosexual and transgender people.”
A small number of safe houses, set up for LGBT people to live in relative safety, have been funded by Iraqi LGBT. In the current climate, these homes have been life-savers for those taking refuge in them.
The house which was raided on last week had been established in January this year.
With the arrests and the seizure of computers last week, activists fear that the government will step up efforts to round up more of the country’s LGBT population.
“The UK media and politicians have been too quiet for too long about the violence LGBT people in Iraq,” said Ali Hili, leader of Iraqi LGBT.
I was told it matters like this that push many LGBT people to stay quiet or figure out a way to get to the US. Very sad really.

Interesting Quote: Charlene Strong
"I looked the President in the eye and could tell he was sincere. I'm not one to be star struck, so I wasn't just caught up in the moment. This man means what he says and understands how important it is to move quickly. You can tell anyone that does not believe Obama is our ally to call me personally. I will tell them what's up. He is on our side."
