RNC release Empowering 'WHITE' Women videos

They should call this, Empowering White Women.

Lord, this press release is a joke, but see it for yourself
Today the Republican National Committee (RNC) released a video series entitled “Empowering Women,” highlighting several women leading the Republican party and celebrating the culmination of Women’s History Month.

The series focuses on the challenges and accomplishments women in the GOP have faced, and the advice they would give to the next generation of Republican women. The videos feature Kellyanne Conway, Linda McMahon, Congressman Marsha Blackburn, RNC Chief of Staff Sara Armstrong, and RNC Chief Operating Officer Maggie Boyd.

“For years the Republican party has worked to elevate the brightest and most talented minds to leadership roles, and these impressive women represent that success,” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.

“We are committed to working together to engage, educate, and empower women, and to use our voices to drive the conversation as we embrace the next generation of leaders who will shape the future of our country.”

GOP office in North Carolina 'Firebombed'

This is getting crazy and who knows who's behind this. To be honest, I think Trump's new age slaves did it.

Anywho, some Dems got together and raised money for the GOP to rebuild. A GoFundMe campaign raised $10,000 within four hours to help out.

Interesting Quote: Reince Priebus

“We’re still a party that believes that marriage is between one man and one woman, but it doesn’t mean that we’re going to kick people out. I can’t win this race if I tell people that they’re not welcome in our party”

Interesting Quote: President Obama

These are the same folks often times who've suggested that they're so tough that, uh, just talking to Putin or staring down ISIL or using some additional rhetoric somehow's gonna solve the problems out there. But apparently they're scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America as part of our tradition of compassion. First they were worried about the press being too tough on 'em during debates; now they're worried about three-year-old orphans. That doesn't sound very tough to me.

Kevin McCarthy Drops Out Of Speaker's Race

This is chaos and I'm loving it. It's exposing the foolishness and mess in the GOP. It's also showing the country that the GOP are not capable of leading the nation.

And what's REALLY funny is NOM's Brian Brown taking credit for this. Look at this email I received from him:
Big win! Kevin McCarthy, the California Congressman who supported pro-same sex marriage Republican, Carl Demaio has dropped out of the race for House speaker! As you know NOM worked hard to help defeat Carl Demaio and other pro-same-sex marriage Republicans in 2014. Now the fight is on for a Speaker who will not just pay lip service to marriage and religious liberty, but will actually forcefully support legislation like the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA). We’ve got a ton of work to do to make that a reality and we need your help to do it. We have a matching challenge grant through the end of this year that will double your donation. Will you help us fight for a real champion as speaker? Will you help us pass the First Amendment Defense Act?
This is so good... pass the chips and popcorn

After the Election

What we saw last night was clearly a vote against change. The fact that we are moving forward and we are changing the country, many lost folks are running scared. And that fear drove these folks to vote.

Yes, the GOP won big, but this will be Obama's big moment to shine. He has to get tough because nothing will get pass Congress. I believe in two years, the GOP will show this country that they had nothing planned for us. They will implode and fail in major ways. I truly believe that and I hope I just spoke this into existence.

Showtime Synergy! From Drag Queen to Anti-Gay GOP candidate in North Carolina

This is too funny and so ridic.

Steve Wiles is a Republican state Senate candidate who was a cheerleader for North Carolina’s constitutional amendment against marriage equality. Thinking he's the golden child of the GOP, Steve just knew that nothing could bring him down...

Well, maybe his drag queen past. You see, Steve was Miss Mona Sinclair in his 20s. He was a regular performer at a gay nightclub in Winston-Salem and supposedly gay.

Here's more

Wiles’ responses over the past three weeks have ranged from categorical denial to tacit admission.
“I have already apologized to the people who matter most to me for the things I did when I was young,” Wiles said this week, declining to clarify for what he has apologized. The comment was made in the last of three separate interviews. At first, Wiles denied the claim.

“That’s not me,” Wiles said three weeks ago, referring to Mona Sinclair. Wiles responded “no” when asked whether he was gay. This week, Wiles’ campaign website, Facebook page and Twitter handle were taken down.

Did he really think this wouldn't see the light of day? Come on, Steve... Come on!

College Republicans to GOP: You're Closed-Minded, Racist, Rigid, Old-Fashioned

Today, a 95-page scathing study on the GOP will be released. But it's not from progressives or another polling group, it's from college Republicans.

And, it's READS the GOP, hunty.
Titled the “Grand Old Party for a Brand New Generation,” the report is sharply critical of the GOP on several fronts. The study slams some Republicans’ almost singular focus on downsizing Big Government and cutting taxes; candidates’ use of offensive, polarizing rhetoric; and the party’s belly-flop efforts at messaging and outreach, even as the report presents a way forward and, at times, strikes an optimistic tone.
In the report, the young Republican activists acknowledge their party has suffered significant damage in recent years. A sampling of the critique on:
Gay marriage: “On the ‘open-minded’ issue … [w]e will face serious difficulty so long as the issue of gay marriage remains on the table.”
Hispanics: “Latino voters … tend to think the GOP couldn’t care less about them.”
Perception of the party’s economic stance: “We’ve become the party that will pat you on your back when you make it, but won’t offer you a hand to help you get there.”
Big reason for the image problem: The “outrageous statements made by errant Republican voices.”
Words that up-for-grabs voters associate with the GOP: “The responses were brutal: closed-minded, racist, rigid, old-fashioned.”
“[The] Republican Party has won the youth vote before and can absolutely win it again,” the report says, pointing to presidents Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush who were competitive with that demographic. “But this will not occur without significant work to repair the damage done to the Republican brand among this age group over the last decade.”

Without the young vote, the GOP have no legs and if this continues, this party will be toothless and raggedy... Much like the Tea Party.

New Poll: 59% Americans find the GOP UNFAVORABLE

Americans are not feeling the GOP.

In a new CNN poll, 59% view the GOP unfavorably and the number of favorability falls at a new low of 35%. Funny, because the GOP don't get it. They are still using old tactics, like teaming up with the Tea Party. They need to understand that most Americans don't like them either, so the bad tactics ain't winning them any points.

Another piece of the poll shows that 42% believe that the GOP is overreacting over the IRS drama. Which is key, since the GOP knew about this for over a year!

Maybe the GOP should try another plan, because none of the scandals or team-ups are working.
