What's up?

I just wonder
What is happening in my sewing-room
Look in my sink - this morning I found some cut'offs

And by my sewing-machine - some red, brown and cream fabrics already cutted into 3.5"

And on my cutting table
a whole bunch om prepared pieces

I just wonder
What is this going to be?

Something you have seen before?

Maybe...

Optimistic, lively, and almost always happy with the world...

Sewing all weekend

When you sew all weekend it is so nice to finish something, and also to start a new project.
I just couldn't keep my sewing-machine avay for these fabrics, had to start rigth away.

I finished this tablerunner and the two small purses today.

Visitors

This week has been a quilty week, with visitors from 560 km further south. It seems Trondheim has the best (and most) quiltshops in this country - so of course we had to go shopping. My guests managed to visit three shops down-town - me only two. Sorry I do not have any photos from the shop - they were on Hanne's camera

Hanne also wanted to try my mega-quilter, and Sigrun was pushed to try it. And then they pushed me to do a phanto-pattern for my first time.

Back from vacation

After almost two weeks of rain, it is so good to be back home.
I visited 7 quiltshops during out trip - but didn't buy much. A few quilt-stencils, thread, a few fabrics, and some patterns and magazines, and a nice knitted scarf in wool.

We have used this last few days to do some gardening and painting outsides. Now I am all by myself - and back in the quilting-business.
I have loaded the red-brown-cream lap-quilt into my inspira-frame today (finished the top yesterday, pattern Lise Bergene)

The owl-table-runner (pattern AnnAKa) is now quilted - still lacks some leaves and embroidery

And two table-toppers are on their way towards the end.
Here is one of them, I had to make it a bit bigger than the pattern.

And the original, pattern bougth at "Syskrinet Heimdal"
