Yonina Flowers

This was taken last year when we visited Netherland during the tulips season. Many varieties of tulips you can find in Amsterdam and this is one of my favorite tulip bulbs because of its vibrant color. Yonina is the name! This is breathtaking bright pinkish color tulip with ivory-white highlights. The color purple in the middle with yellow pollen makes the flower more beautiful. My #5 entry of Today's Flower

Christmas cactus

I never seen any cactus flower before until we went to see my friend in Hohenfels last weekend and saw this flower. I was so amazed about it so I took pictures and it came out so beautiful and gorgeous. My friend gave me a pot and now I have to take care of it so it will blooms like hers. I never get tired of looking at the picture. I LOVE IT!!!!! My #4 TF

Mums flower TF # 3 and MYM # 2

This is my TF and MYM entry.
Mums or Chrysanthemums are classic composites. Each tiny orange bump in the flower's center is the top of a disk flower. Each petal is a ray flower. Many species belonging to the genus Chrysanthemums of which there are well over a hundreds.

Today's Flower # 2: Hyacint Blue Star

The 'Blue Jacket' Hyacinth is a great addition to any planting bed or border. A bright purple strip adorns the center of each petal with a silvery cast at the petal edges and tips. The bulbs grows approximately 10" tall in full to part sun and blooms in mid spring. Blue Star is one of tulip flowers.
