X'mas Markt

Hello....after spending money from Black Friday, we went to my cousin's house for "get together" for our Thanksgiving since I did not cook and they were at his friends. We spent the night at my cousin's place because we all got drunk. The next day, we all woke up late for hung over. I felt miserable and had terrible headache. Since its Saturday, we all have no plans until we decided to go to the German's Christmas Markt at Rothenburg. I've been in Rothenburg last January but I got sick (migraine attacked) when we got there so we (I) didn't really enjoyed our trip there. This time, we want to see the Christmas lights and to buy Christmas gifts for our family that made in Germany so we drove on Rothenburg. We left around 3:30 pm so that we could see their Christmas decorations and lights. From Ramstein area to Rothenburg, it took us 2 hours drive. We got there before 6pm, the parking lot was dark but we found the place because we were using GPS or navigator (nice to have or own one). I was disappointed again because seeing the Christmas Markt at Rothenburg was disappointing. Not a lot of stores were open, some are close early, only few vendors, and it doesn’t seem its Christmas there because few Christmas lights were lit (no wonder not a lot of people were there). I got upset, too because my daughter dropped my only camera and now it got damaged. I know that my camera had been dropped many times but this time it damaged bad because every time I turn it on, a few seconds, it will turn off itself. Now I need to look or browse on internet for new camera. I’ll probably wait this Christmas or for my birthday, he he he….

Have a nice weekend….

Black Friday

Hi friends.....Every year, after we celebrate Thanksgiving, we wait for Black Friday or BIG sale. Since we are in Germany, we only go to the military store and they only have one store and that’s AAFES or PX/BX. A week before the Black Friday, they posts on flyers all the items are on sale. I’m so excited because I saw some items that I want and need for less price but I was disappointed when we got to the store because the line was very long, it was cold, and they let you in if some one leaves and most of all, the items I wanted to buy was gone!!!! I still bought computer bundle for my daughter even though the name brand was not my first choice or I can trust. The store was almost empty and what I hate the most was first come, first serve and not enough stocks! What I don’t get is, why they posts on flyers if they don’t have enough items? I bet after the sales, they will put more things on the shelves. Now I know that I didn’t get the stuffs I need this year, next year I will try to go to the store earlier or better yet, we are going to go to the other AAFES instead!

Have a Nice Weekend to y’all…..

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!

Thanksgiving is the occassion to be thankful for the many favors granted by God.
Thanksgiving Day is also about togetherness, love and expressing our sincerest gratitude to people who love and care for us and who has helped us in some way of the other....
May Your Thanksgiving be blessed with the bounty of the season, love of friends and family and a harvest of smiles..... HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!
The origin of Thanksgiving- began in 1621 when American colonists in Plymouth, Massachusetts and the Wampanoag Indians shared the first Thanksgiving meal. Given some misnomers, we don't think the menu included today's traditional Thanksgiving meal favorites. Thanksgiving historians doubt that there was pumpkin pie (sugar and flour were not available) or mashed potatoes (the Europeans still considered the potato poisonous at this time). Original feast foods that might surprise you were fish, eel, berries, watercress, lobster, dried fruit, clams, venison, and plums. The original feast lasted three days and was based on traditional English harvest festivals that usually occurred in England around September 29th. It wasn't until two years later in 1623, after a horrible drought, that the actual "Thanksgiving" celebration occurred. It was called Thanksgiving because the drought finally came to an end after a period of intense praying by the colonists.
Have a Gobble gobble day!!!!!

Thanksgiving is almost here....

Thanksgiving is almost here, one more day and time for family and friends get together. We decided not to do anything on Thanksgiving because my cousin and his wife will be at his co-workers party. I am still lazy and tired of cooking for Thanksgiving because of last weekend party. We might go to Movie Theater and see “Quantum of Solace”- James Bond instead, plus I’m excited for Black Friday (means BIG SALE). We want to go to bed early on Thursday night so that we have energy for shopping the next day, he he he….Hopefully, we will get a GOOD deal on electronics (for adults), clothes (adults and kids) and toys (for kids) for Christmas gifts. I’m buying gifts for my family back in Texas. We won’t be here in Ramstein area for Christmas and New Years for the reason that we will be spending our Holidays at my sister-in-law in England [I’m very excited!!!!]. But after Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday, we will be at my cousin's house. We might spend the night there because we are going to get drunk and that's include me! I hardly drink but because it's holiday, it's acceptable! ha ha ha....

Have a nice day to y'all.....

Our New Christmas Tree

Here’s our new Christmas tree. I already put my Christmas tree because we won’t be here on Christmas and New Year. I want to see the tree before we leave to go to England for our Holidays. I have to buy more colorful ornaments to put on my tree because it wasn’t much ornaments. As you can see, only tree has been decorated and I haven’t put any Christmas stuffs like garlands and wreaths. I will not put anything or decorate outside our house because some people in our area steal things although it’s on your front lawn and we won’t be here and no one will keep an eye on so I decided not to do it. Once I finish decorating the house, I will post it.

Have a good one….

Word of God

Encouragement When Anxious or Impatient

Never worry about anything. But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks. Then God's peace, which goes beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your thoughts and emotions through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

Brothers and sisters, be patient until the Lord comes again. See how farmers wait for their precious crops to grow. They wait patiently for fall and spring rains. You, too must be patient. don't give up hope. The Lord will soon be here.
Brothers and sisters, follow the example of the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. They were patient when they suffered unjustly. We consider those who endure to be blessed. You have heard about Job's endurance. You saw that the Lord ended Job's suffering because the Lord is compassionate and merciful.
James 5:7-8, 10-11

The Jesus said to his disciples. "So I tell you to stop worrying about what you will eat or wear. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothes.
"Can any of you add an hour to your life by worrying? "Don't concern yourself about what you will eat or drink. Quit worrying about these things. Rather, be concerned about his [God's] kingdom. Then these things will be provided for you."
Luke 12:22-23, 25, 29, 31

I waited patiently for the Lord. He turned to me and heard my cry for help. He pulled me out of a horrible pit, out of the mud and clay. He set my feet on a rock, and made my steps secure.
Psalm 40:1-2

We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God....
Romans 8:28

Trust the Lord, and do good things. Live in the land, and practice being faithful. Be happy with the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Entrust your ways to the Lord. Trust him, and he will act on your behalf. He will make your righteousness shine like a light, your just cause like the noonday sun. Surrender yourself to the Lord, and wait patiently for him.
Psalm 37:3-7a

Be happy in your confidence, be patient in trouble, and pray continually.
Romans 12:12

We ask him to strengthen you by his glorious might with all the power you need to patiently endure everything with joy.
Colossians 1:11

Lazy and Tired!

Hello friends....I'm so tired and lazy to do anything today but I have to clean up the mess from last night's party. I'm glad that we have dishwasher, just load up with dirty dishes and press on and walla! starts to clean. We put the chairs back and clean the table. We ate our lunch and after that we went back upstair to watch the TFC. My husband wants to see the "Quantum of Solace" but I don't want to leave the house and go somewhere so we decided to stay home. We just watched the teleserye "Iisa pa lamang" by Claudene Barreto. We went to bed early and forgot to eat our dinner. Maybe it sounds boring to you but we were relax....

Happy Birthday Lester!

Here's the day for surprise party! We finished cooking at 4pm and started to put all the food in a warmer. Waiting for friends to come at 5pm but because the weather was a bit bad or terrible (snowing with rain and gust of winds), they started to come past 530pm. We were so worried that they might not come but with their effort and a good friends they showed late better than never. When almost everyone was here, my husband called Lester at their house to ask favor to help him to carry the elliptical exercise down the basement. My husband was waiting at the door for Lester to come. We were at the living room, the door and the lights were shut and when my husband opened the door, SURPRISE! Lester was really surprise to see all his friends were there and he was soooo happy….Everyone having drinks except Krystel and I, and two of his friends were ready to go home. They have no car that night because they know that they will be drinking so Krystel drop them off at their barracks. On the way back to our house, they (Krystel and Lester) had an accident. Because the weather was bad and the road was block ice, they slid and fell on the ditch. They were okay except Krystel was shaking and shocked. The car was a little bit damaged but every things okay! The visitors started to leave even though Lester and Krystel weren’t back yet. I don’t blame them leaving early. I’m worried for them to leave the house because of the weather, and I even offered them to stay but they want to go home. Lester loved the surprise except the accident.

This is the ice cream cake, chocolate vanilla flavor.

We were singing a Happy Birthday song for Lester. He was soooo happy!

Getting Ready for Surprise Party

Hi friends….I’m sooo excited to see how the party will be or goes tomorrow? It’s my first time to be involved or give a surprise party. It was my cousin’s wife’s (Krystel) idea and I’m just a helper. I started to cook the cassava cake this afternoon and Chicken Adobo. I marinated the beef and chicken wings for barbeque. I also cut all the vegetables and meat for Pansit (Noodles) and Spicy chicken so that tomorrow will be ready for cooking. Krystel brought the Macaroni salad and she starts to decorate the house. She bought party blowers and some balloons. We also made some devil’s egg because it’s her husband requested. We will have ice cream cake. I’m sooo exhausted but ready for the party tomorrow. I’ll post some photos tomorrow.

Good day….

Health tip

Hi there friends….I would like to share with you about taking Vitamin D. Did you know that high levels of vitamin D can help people lower their risk of peripheral artery disease (PAD). The condition, which affects about 8 million Americans, occurs when arteries in the legs become clogged with fatty deposits, reducing blood flow to the legs. According to Lead investigator Dr. Michal Melamed, of New York’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine, analyzed data on vitamin D levels in nearly 5,000 people. The key finding: People with the lowest vitamin D levels are more than twice as like to have PAD that those with the highest levels. However, Dr. Melamed says it’s still unclear whether vitamin D supplementation can help people who already have PAD.
And for those older women who aren’t getting enough vitamin D could be risk for suffering from back pain. Scientists at the University of Delaware looked at blood levels of vitamin D in 958 people 65 and older. Fifty-eight percent of the women in the study, and 27 percent of the men, turned out to have moderate pain in at least one relationship between vitamin D levels and pain. But women with vitamin D deficiency were nearly twice as likely to have back pain that was moderate or severe.

Have a wonderful weekend…..

Busy, busy.....

Hello friends….I have been so busy for couple of weeks now because I have been cleaning my house. I am getting ready or preparing for a surprise birthday party for my cousin. It was his wife’s (Krystel) idea to give him surprise party. Krystel can’t do the surprise if he is at home all the time. She can’t decorate or even cook without him knowing it. My cousin will find out or figure it out, what she’s been up to. She told me everything and asks me for help. Because it’s a surprise party, we (my husband & I) decided to do it our house. We can prepare everything, cook or even decorate. She invited all their friends and I know some of it. I’m so excited to see his reaction and we will have video and digital camera for evidence or proof. Hopefully, I can get good and nice photos to share with you. I will start to cook tomorrow night and I will try to post it if I have time.

You have a nice day to y’all……..

Real Joy

The angle said to them, “Don’t be afraid! I have goods news for a message that will fill everyone with joy. Today your Savior, Christ the Lord, was born…
Luke 2:10-11

That inheritance is kept in heaven for you, since you are guarded by god’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed at the end of time.
You are extremely happy about these things, even though you have to suffer different kinds of trouble for a little while now.
Although you have never seen Christ, you love him. You don’t see him now, but you believe in him. You are extremely happy with joy and praise that can hardly be expressed in words as you obtain the salvation that is that goal of your faith.
1Peter 1:4b-6, 8-9

May god, the source of hope, fill you with joy and peace through your faith in him. Then you will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Sad Story.......

Hello friends….I was watching the “Maalaala Mo Kaya Classics” from TFC. I couldn’t stop crying because the story was so sad; it’s about a happy and good family. Leony (a mother) wrote the story before she left Philippines going to Saudi Arabia. She has two teen age boys, and her husband work in Saudi Arabia. Taper (the older son) is in 4th year high school and excited to go to college while Chester (the youngest son) is in 2nd high school (loves playing basketball). Taper has ambitions to finish college but he has been attacking by migraine until he went to the hospital and found out he has brain cancer and he has 5-6 months to live. Because of his illness, Taper stop going to school. Leony still hid the secrets from his 2 boys aboout the illness but she told her husband about it. Since Leony didn’t tell them about the illness, she only focused all her attention on Taper and so Chester started to get jealous. Finally, after months without telling Chester about the illness, she finally told him. He felt terrible and sad so he started to give all his love to his brother. After 6 months, Taper died. After 3 months Taper past away, Chester started to have fever so Leony took him to the doctor and found out he has Acute Leukemia. He has days to live. After 3 days staying in a hospital, Chester also died. Because Leony hasn’t recover from pain when Taper past away, here’s another tragedy she encountered. Within 3 months, 2 sons she lost. Now, Leony and her husband settled in Saudi Arabia and left the bad memories in the Philippines.

Good day…..

Bad News....

Hi there everybody…..I felt terrible today because I couldn’t help my friend. She called me when we were at the Chinese Restaurant with my family and begging for my help. She is supposed to come home that day from her vacation in England but she got stuck at the airport because the airplane left her for some reason. She asked me if my husband will be free on Monday to pick her up but I told her that my husband worked until 5pm on Monday. I couldn’t pick her up because the place was far and I’m not familiar on Frankfurt Hahn area. I told her before that I couldn’t take her to the Hahn airport because I’m afraid to get lose in unfamiliar place like Hahn. We have been in Hahn airport once last October but my cousin is the one who drove. When we were leaving the airport going back home, he got lost twice and that’s when he followed the GPS or navigator. Now, my friend stayed in England for 1 more week and hopefully she has plans to get home. I’m sorry Rubz….

Good day everyone…

60th Birthday

Hello friends….what a Saturday we had! We over slept, we got up 12 noon because we are going to a (German) party that night. My husband’s co-worker celebrated his 60th birthday in a Gasthaus or Restaurant. Only friends and family were invited and it wasn’t too crowded because only 20 people were there. The party supposes to starts at 6pm but 2-3 more family hasn’t showed up so we waited for almost an hour. When everyone was there we waited at least an hour to take our orders but they already started to serve drinks. The meal was goooood (sorry no photo because I forgot my camera). They served 6 meals includes 3 appetizers or 3 course meals, 1 big meal, and a dessert. The 3 course meals were vegetable salad, salmon and curry soups. We waited another 25-30 minutes before they served the big meal. I had geese with knodeln (potato that made it round) and maronen (it tastes nuts but it wasn’t). I was sooo stuffed, I couldn’t finish my meal and when they asked for dessert, I said no more dessert. There are no more places for it in my stomach. And when everybody was done eating and they started to chat and I’m glad that some family speaks English so we won’t feel uncomfortable or out of place. My husband started to drink and forgot the time and so my daughter got bored and tired. I want to go home early but we finished eating around 10:30 pm and they just talking after that. We kept talking and talking and talking until I looked the time it was 12:30 am already. We ended up leaving the restaurant at 1am. That’s the first time I went to a party that stayed that late! I didn’t regret it because we had a good time just talking. If my daughter didn’t go with us, we might stay there until closing. I’m glad that my husband’s co-worker loved our gift for him. It was 3 liter of Crown Royal.

Have a wonderful weekend…..

Joke Time!!!

Driver's License

A mother is driving a little girl to her friend's house for a play date.

Mommy,' the little girl asks, 'how old are you?'

Honey, you are not supposed to ask a lady her age,' the mother replied.

It's not polite.'

OK', the little girl says, 'How much do you weigh?'

Now really,' the mother says, 'those are personal questions and are really none of your business.'

Undaunted, the little girl asks, 'Why did you and Daddy get a divorce?'

That is enough questions, young lady, honestly!'

The exasperated mother walks away as the two friends begin to play.

My Mom won't tell me anything about her,' the little girl says to her friend.

Well,' says the friend, 'all you need to do is look at her driver's license. It is like a report card, it has everything on it.'

Later that night the little girl says to her mother, 'I know how old you are, you are 32.'

The mother is surprised and asks, 'How did you find that out?

I also know that you weigh 140 pounds.'

The mother is past surprised and shocked now. 'How in heaven's name did you find that out?'

And,' the little girl says triumphantly, 'I know why you and daddy got a divorce.'

Oh really?' the mother asks. 'Why?'

Because you got an F in sex'

God's Word

Real Hope-Real Confidence!

Now that we have God's approval by faith, we have peace with God because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done. Through Christ we can approach God and stand in his favor. So we brag because of our confidence that we will receive glory from God. But that's not all. We also brag when we are suffering. We know that suffering creates endurance, endurance creates character, and character creates confidence. We're not ashamed to have this confidence, because God's love has been poured into out hearts by the Holy Spirit. who has been given to us.
Romans 5:15

We have this confidence as a sure and strong anchor for our lives. This confidence goes into the holy place behind the curtain where Jesus went before us on our behalf.
Hebrews 6:19

Be happy in your confidence, be patient in trouble, and pray continually.
Romans 12:12

Praise the God and Father of our Lora Jesus Christ! God has given us a new birth because of his great mercy. We have been born into a new life that has a confidence which is alive because Jesus Christ has come back to life. We have been born into a new life which has an inheritance that can't be destroyed or corrupted and can't fade away.
1 Peter 1:3-4

Then you will have deeper insight. You will know the confidence that he calls you to have and the glorious wealth that God's people will inherit.
Ephesians 1:18

We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, in our prayers for you. We thank God because we have heard about your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all God's people. You have these because of the hope which is kept safe for you in heaven. Some time ago you heard about his Hope in the Good News which is the message of truth. This Good News is present with you now. It's producing results and spreading all over the world as it did among you from the first day you heard it. At that time you came to know what God's kindness truly means.
Colossians 1:3-6

May God, the source of ope, fill you with joy and peace through your faith in him. Then you will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13

God did this so that we would be encouraged. God cannot lie when he takes an oath or makes a promise. These two things can never be changed. Those of us who have taken refuge in him hold on to the confidence we have been given. We have this confidence as a sure and strong anchor for our lives.
Hebrews 6:18-19

Celebrating America's Freedom

Good day everyone....today we Honoring All Who Served (American soldiers) from the past, present and future. Here's the Origins of Veterans Day....

In 1921, an unknown World War I American soldier was buried in Arlington National Cemetery. This site, on a hillside overlooking the Potomac River and the city of Washington, D.C., became the focal point of reverence for America’s veterans.

Similar ceremonies occurred earlier in England and France, where an unknown soldier was buried in each nation’s highest place of honor (in England, Westminster Abbey; in France, the Arc de Triomphe). These memorial gestures all took place on November 11, giving universal recognition to the celebrated ending of World War I fighting at 11 a.m., November 11, 1918 (the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month). The day became known as “Armistice Day.”

Armistice Day officially received its name in America in 1926 through a Congressional resolution. It became a national holiday 12 years later by similar Congressional action. If the idealistic hope had been realized that World War I was “the War to end all wars,” November 11 might still be called Armistice Day. But only a few years after the holiday was proclaimed, war broke out in Europe. Sixteen and one-half million Americans took part. Four hundred seven thousand of them died in service, more than 292,000 in battle.

Armistice Day Changed To Honor All Veterans

The first celebration using the term Veterans Day occurred in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1947. Raymond Weeks, a World War II veteran, organized "National Veterans Day," which included a parade and other festivities, to honor all veterans. The event was held on November 11, then designated Armistice Day. Later, U.S. Representative Edward Rees of Kansas proposed a bill that would change Armistice Day to Veterans Day. In 1954, Congress passed the bill that President Eisenhower signed proclaiming November 11 as Veterans Day. Raymond Weeks received the Presidential Citizens Medal from President Reagan in November 1982. Weeks' local parade and ceremonies are now an annual event celebrated nationwide.

On Memorial Day 1958, two more unidentified American war dead were brought from overseas and interred in the plaza beside the unknown soldier of World War I. One was killed in World War II, the other in the Korean War. In 1984, an unknown serviceman from the Vietnam War was placed alongside the others. The remains from Vietnam were exhumed May 14, 1998, identified as Air Force 1st Lt. Michael Joseph Blassie, and removed for burial. To honor these men, symbolic of all Americans who gave their lives in all wars, an Army honor guard, the 3rd U.S. Infantry (The Old Guard), keeps day and night vigil.

A law passed in 1968 changed the national commemoration of Veterans Day to the fourth Monday in October. It soon became apparent, however, that November 11 was a date of historic significance to many Americans. Therefore, in 1978 Congress returned the observance to its traditional date.

National Ceremonies Held at Arlington National Cemetery

The focal point for official, national ceremonies for Veterans Day continues to be the memorial amphitheater built around the Tomb of the Unknowns. At 11 a.m. on November 11, a combined color guard representing all military services executes “Present Arms” at the tomb. The nation’s tribute to its war dead is symbolized by the laying of a presidential wreath. The bugler plays “taps.” The rest of the ceremony takes place in the amphitheater.

Veterans Day ceremonies at Arlington and elsewhere are coordinated by the President’s Veterans Day National Committee. Chaired by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, the committee represents national veterans organizations.

Governors of many states and U.S. territories appoint Veterans Day chairpersons who, in cooperation with the National Committee and the Department of Defense, arrange and promote local ceremonies.

I'm sooo proud for all the soldiers around the world because without them we won't feel safe.

Birthday Party

Hi everyone....how's your Sunday? We went to a birthday party for my husband's cousin's nephew in Wiesbaden. Lucas, the birthday boy, turned 2 years old. The party was held in my husband's cousin's house (Vangie). Vangie's house is small and because too many kids came, it was crowded and loud. Kids were running around the house and playing hides and seeks while the adults were talking. My husband and I were watching “Maalaala Mo Kaya” in TFC. But because they were so loud, we couldn’t understand the movie, we stop watching. We just start eating, they cooked Apritada (chicken with potato and carrots), and Menudo (pork with liver and peas and carrots) and they even cooked Ginataang halo-halo (sweet rice with coconut milk and sweet potato). For the kids, they have bratwurst, fries and cake. After they finished eating, Lucas started to open his gifts. He started to like all his gifts but when he finished opening all his gifts, he just left and starts to play with other kids. I’m guessing; he didn’t get the toy he likes. Lucas had a blast! And so do we….That’s how we spent our Sunday!

Have a wonderful Sunday….

Family Time....

Good day everyone....it's Saturday and nothing special going on today. We just went to the Aafes Px/Bx (military store) to buy my daughter's clothes. She is growing fast and so her clothes are getting smaller. We got lucky that we went to the Px store because they have sale going on (you'll get additional 50% off on all clearance sale), we saved double. I got some summer clothes and my husband has formal pants but for my daughter, no sale but we still bought her pants and some tights for winter. She is really growing fast because last 2 weeks ago, I bought her size 5 boots and she told me that the boots doesn’t fit on her anymore. Next time you know it, she will be wearing my own shoes and clothes. I’m still lucky and happy that she doesn’t look for the name brand like Gap, Nike, Guest and so on….The reason we don’t give or buy her with the name brand because first of all, she grows fast. Secondly, we save money for her college and third, they are too expensive. She is happy what she has anyway. After we finished shopping, we took her with her best friend to the Kids Zone (like Chuckie Cheeses) and spent 2 ½ hours there. While we are waiting for the pizzas, the kids were playing and my husband and I talked. We really had a great Saturday because we spent together as a family. Hope you do the same….

Have a nice weekend everyone….

Health Tip

Hello everyone….it’s Friday again. Are you having trouble or having problem on your PMS (premenstrual syndrome) every month? Do you want to fight it? Well, here’s the solution, just take Saffron to cuts the symptoms of PMS and fights depression. Saffron is a deep orange powder from the flower of a crocus used to color and flavor foods. It is the most expensive spice and it came from Southwest Asia. It characterized by a bitter taste and an iodoform or hay-like fragrance; these are caused by the chemicals picrocrocin and safranal. It also contains a carotenoid dye, crocin that gives food a rich golden yellow hue. It has medicinal applications, too. Researchers tested the spice-taken in capsule form, twice daily for two months-on 50 PMS sufferers experiencing cramps, bloating, irritability and fatigue for at least six months. Three-quarters of the women on saffron capsules reported a whopping 50 percent or greater drop in their PMS symptoms. In addition, 60 percent of the women taking the spice reported a major improvement in depression symptoms. Experts think that saffron elevates key brain chemicals and could be used to alleviate both depression and PMS. Since I’m one of the PMS sufferers, I will try to take this saffron spice so it will stop my cramping every time I have PMS. Now, I have to find out where to buy it.

Have a Wonderful weekend to y’all….

Hello......yesterday was the last day to vote and today we will find out who will be the next new president. The result is final by Electoral landslide...our new U.S. President is Barack Obama! Congratulations to the Democrats! I'm happy and excited to see the change. Maybe it's not my choice to see Democrat wins but I want to see the United States' future. Are the financial economies, taxes, educations, health insurances and oil will change for the better? We will find out once Obama sits on White House and do his promises to the Americans. I hope is for the good will of all Americans.

Have a nice Wedenesday….

Final Day!

Hi! How’s everybody doing today? Well, today is the final day to vote for U.S. President. Some people vote early because they decided or they picked already who they will vote and they don’t like to wait in long line. Some are being procrastinate or do the last minute to vote maybe because they don’t have time to do it or they don’t feel like to doing it early and maybe they haven’t decided who to vote. We all know that it’s only 2 candidates are running for president but voting is hard thing to do because we are not sure we if made the right decision or we pick the right person for President. Some people think that they made or pick the right person for President but at the end they regret it or made a mistake. Both parties (Democratic & Republican) have wonderful proposal for the Americans but the question is “Is the new President going to do his part because we all know, all Americans did their part, VOTE!” Either Republican or Democratic won the presidential elections; I’m confident and pretty sure that there will be change. I’m hoping it’s for the best….

Have A Wonderful Day to y’all….

God's Word of Encouragement

Real Peace-Now and Forever!

"I've told you this so that my peace will be with you. In the world you'll have trouble. But cheer up! I [Jesus] have overcome the world." John 16:33

Never worry about anything. But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks. The God's peace, which goes beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your thoughts and emotions through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers and sisters, keep your thoughts on whatever is right or deserves praise: things that are true, honorable, fair, pure, acceptable, or commendable. Practice what you've learned and received from me, what you heard and saw me do. Then the God who gives this peace will be with you. Philippians 4:6-9

Suddenly, a large army of angles appeared with the angel. They were praising God by saving,
"Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those who
have his glory will!"
Luke 2:13-14

"I'm leaving you peace. I'm giving you my peace. I[Jesus] don't give you the kind of peace that the world gives. So don't be troubled or cowardly." John 14:27

Have a nice day to y'all....

First Time....

Hi! How’s your weekend everyone….last Saturday, we went to the indoor ski in France at Lorraine. It was bad timing because when we got there, there was a championship tournament. We waited for 3 hours but we drove around and we found more recreation or activities going on besides the skiing. They have Zoo, Bowling, Swimming pool, Ice skating, Camping, Mini Golf, Fitness Gym, Spa or Saunas, and they even have IMAX 3D. We didn’t go to that place because we have few hours to spare and our plan is to ski. It was everyone’s first time except my husband. My husband know how to ski long, long time ago (1980’s) so when he start skiing, he feels like it was his first time again. My husband and I have the skis, my daughter, my cousin and his wife and also my friend’s families have snowboards. The price was reasonable, for 3 of us including the fee, equipments, and jackets and pants for 2 hours are 100 Euro only. Although I kept falling and having a hard time to get up, I still have a good time. Even though I didn’t get my money worth, at least I experience the feeling of adrenaline in skiing. We really have a great and wonderful time because we are planning to go back after we go for skiing lesson in Garmish at Edelweiss Resort. The bad part is, next morning; we all suffer from muscles pain. I had my arms sore for using the sticks; my daughter had back pain for falling; my husband had knee pain for hitting the wall; my cousin and his wife both have back pain for falling; my friend’s husband went to the ER in Landsthul because he snapped his knee caps and they put cast on. We don’t want to feel more pain so we went to play bowling. I was terrible playing bowling because my arms are useless, he he he….

Have A Nice Day to y’all….

All Saints Day

Hello everyone….today we celebrate the “All Saints Day” or Araw ng mga Patay”. I remember back in the Philippines when I was a kid, every November 1st, we go to the cemetery to visit our love ones who past away. We travelled from Manila to our province of Pangasinan, to visit my great grandmother’s and great grandfather’s tombs. We light the candles and put some flowers to their grave. We even prayed for their souls. After we were done praying, we (my brother & sister) went to the other grave and collected some melted candles. It was our hobby and we used the candles for regular use. I also remember when I was a kid, that if we don’t go or visit our love ones in cemetery, we just light the candles in front of our house and pray. Now, people do the same thing every November 1st. And it’s been over 17 years I haven’t visit my great grandparent’s graves. Besides my great grandparents, my father and brother are also past away and they buried in Caloocan (Manila). I’m maybe far from their grave but I’m always thinking of them and I’m pretty sure that my mother always visits my father and brother’s grave, especially now.

Have a Nice Weekend to ya’all….

Trick or Treat!

Here's the photos of my daughter and her friends for their trick or treating last Friday night at the military post. They collected a lot of candies and they started eating it the same night. I'm happy to see my daughter smiles with the help of her friends....
