Hi Everyone… How’s your weekend? My weekend was hectic because we are planning to go to Stockholm, Sweden. We got a good deal on tickets but looking for hotels is not fun for me. I did not know that looking for hotels are not easy to do. It took us over 3 hours to make hotel reservation on internet because we (me and my cousin) have to agree on the location, convenient and especially on price! We searched too many hotels until we both agree which one to pick. Thanks for my cousin for his patients surfing from the internet. We finally found the hotel next to the airport (Connect Hotel Skavsta) and in the center of Stockholm (Nordic Sea Hotel). Now, we are planning how and how much we should spend on food once we get there. Because I heard that it’s too expensive on Stockholm for tourist spot. I did not know that making your own vacation is too hassle. We are used to go to the bus trip like the USO, Enjoy tours or RTT and it’s included everything except for your lunch, dinner and the souvenirs you buy. Our vacation will be on Oct. 10-13 and hopefully we’ll get there and come back safe and sound. I’m sure it will be exciting and interesting.

TGIF(Thank Goodness It's Friday)
I’m sooo exhausted today. I woke up late and got ready because my daughter school has release early today and I don’t know why? I have to do my chores and I have to take them (my daughter and her best friend) to the swimming pool. Before I take them to the pool, I have to feed them because they haven’t eaten when they left school. We wentto the Shoppette store because they want to eat hotdog. While they were eating their hotdog in my van, I rushed to the bank to pay my bill. After that, then I took them in the pool, I left them for couple of minutes since post office is next door. I felt secured leaving them because they're both passed the swimming test and they're over 10 years old. I went to the Aafes store (military store) to pay my other bill and I shopped a little bit. Then I went back to the pool to watched them. Thank goodness, I brought my solitaire game and a book for I won't be bored. They stayed at the pool until closing. I finally got my rest...

China milk scare....
Hi! Everyone….How’s your day today? I have something to share with you about the China milk scare if you haven’t heard it yet. I always watch TV Patrol news from TFC (The Filipino Channel) everyday. This is the good advantage to have the TFC in my house so I could find what’s going on in my hometown country Philippines and around the world. I’m sure that all over the world, the news about the milk in China is known. More than 4 babies (China) have died and more than 200 babies get sick for acute kidney failure because of the milk Sanlu. The Sanlu milk has contained Melamine. Melamine is a chemical with carbon, nitrogen, and hydrogen to make plastic, glue, counter top, foam and many more. They put the melamine in milk because they thought that it will add proteins for babies but it doesn’t really have it. Melamine is a poison chemical and it’s dangerous once you eat it. Since last week until now, people in the Philippines still worried what milk should they give to their babies. Many products not just milk; also some candies, chips and more have been removed from the shelves in different stores. People are alerted to check the products before they buy. Why China been getting this kind of terrible tragic? Few months ago, they had earthquake and many people died and still looking for missing. After that, typhoons came and more people lost their lives. Last week, babies were dying because of chemical that poison them. And now, more people lost their lives because of another typhoon! What’s next??? Too many disaster in a year (it’s not even finish the year yet?). Maybe, this is not their good year….hopefully they will survive in any tragic!

Miracles!!!!
Do you believe in miracles??? I do...I would like to share this amazing miracle story that I got from my email. My friend sent it to me. Since the picture is too small and you can't read it clearly, I will write it: The newspaper dated Thursday January 24, 2008...
AMAZING
A Muslim man in Egypt killed his wife because she was reading the Bible and then buried her with their infant baby and 8 year old daughter. The girls were buried alive! He then reported to the police that an uncle killed the kids. 15 days later, another family member died. When they went to bury him, they found the 2 little girls under the sand- ALIVE! The country is outraged over the incident, and the man will be executed. The older girl was asked how she had survived. “A man wearing shiny white clothes, with bleeding wounds in his hands, came every day to feed us. He woke up my mom so she could nurse my sister,” she said. She was interviewed on Egyptian national TV, by availed Muslim woman news anchor. She said on public TV, “This was none other than Jesus, because nobody else does things like this!” Muslims believe Isa (Jesus) would do this, but the wounds mean He really was crucified, and it’s clear also that He is alive! But, it’s also clear that the child could not make up a story like this, and there is no way these children could have survived without a true miracle. Muslim leaders are going to have a hard time to figure out what to do with this, and the popularity of the Passion movie doesn’t help! With Egypt at the centre of the media and education in the Middle East, you can be sure this story will spread. Christ is still turning the world upside down! Please let this story be shared. The Lord says, “I will bless the person who puts his trust in me.” Jeremiah 17

Blog words!!!
Hi! Everyone….I’m so busy and tired today by reading all kinds of information about the blogs. I stayed in my computer almost all day so I could learn more details about blogging. I have read everything but it’s hard for me to understand it. I want to know those words from blogs and no matter how many times I have read, it won’t take my little brain! (he he he...). I even use our own language (Tagalog) so it will be easy for me to understand it but still nothing! Thanks to my friend who made me started blogging, I called her for help! She helped me how to add widget in my site and to put my name on her “Followers”. Now, I learned two things today. I even got some advice from her; she said “be patient”. I will try….my friend! Thanks again….

I'm sooo Excited!!!
Hi! Everyone….I’m so excited since yesterday until now because we finally going to Stockholm, Sweden. I booked our tickets to go to Stockholm last night and the reason I’m sooo excited because we are going to Sweden with my cousin and his wife. We are going to take 3 days weekend vacation because it’s American holiday. Our tickets are cheap for only 175 Euro ($268.00) for 5 of us. My cousin found a cheap hotel for $138.00 a night. We are all going to share the expenses so it won’t be too much for our budget. I read some info about the Stockholm and there are a lot of things to do or see places. I’m sure we won’t be bored to stay there for 3 days/3 nights. I’ll keep you update how’s our trip goes….
And also, I’m happy because my husband bought a new camera for my daughter. I told him that they have to wait until I get the camera that I wanted so I will give my old camera to my daughter. But because the camera was on sale and we have coupon to use, he bought just it! The brand is not bad! And of course, my daughter was soo pleased because it’s her favorite color (blue). I was playing with it (camera) last night and reading the instruction, it has more features than my camera. I’m jealous now but I will get the camera that I really, really want someday. I’m not rushing to buy the camera because I’m waiting for the best and cheap one. I know in my heart, I will find that camera in the right time BUT reasonable price.

Health tips!!!
Hi Everyone...For those people who have been suffering from migraine headache here is some tip or solution. Migraine doesn’t have to be a pain! A little aerobic exercise and muscle relaxation lessens the pain on migraine headaches, according to Austrian researchers. In a study at Innsbrook Medical University, women migraine patients maintained their regular treatment but added a twice-weekly routine-consisting of 45 minutes of aerobic exercise. Think of aerobic activity as being long in duration yet low in intensity. Aerobic activities include: walking, biking, jogging, swimming, aerobic classes and cross-country skiing. Anaerobic activity is short in duration and high in intensity. Anaerobic activities include: racquetball, downhill skiing, weight lifting, sprinting, softball, soccer and football. And 15 minutes of muscle relaxation. The process of progressive muscle relaxation is simply that of isolating one muscle group, creating tension for 8 -10 seconds, and then letting the muscle relax and the tension go. For example: take your right hand, tighten it into a fist, and notice what happens. You can feel the muscle tension increase in your hand and up your forearm. The longer you hold it, the more tense it becomes. You become aware that it does not feel good. In fact, it begins to hurt. This is an example of exaggerated muscle tension. If such tension exists around the neck you get a neck ache, and if it is in the forehead you get a headache. Continue to hold the tension and now, all at once, relax and let go. Allow your hand to flop down into your lap and notice the difference. The muscles now begin to relax, and the muscle tension just flows away, melts, dissolves, and disappears. This process of relaxation is guaranteed to happen because it is based on a principle of muscle physiology. Whenever you create tension in a muscle and then release the tension the muscle has to relax. The muscle does not have a choice. It must happen. The interesting aspect of this process is that the muscle will not only quickly relax back to its pre-tensed state, but if it is allowed to rest, will become even more relaxed that it was. As this procedure of creating tension and then releasing it is applied to every major muscle group of the body, all of these muscles will become more relaxed than when you started. After six weeks, the exercisers reported a greater decrease in migraine pain, compared to those who took only their usual treatment. The exercisers also reported less depression. Hopefully, this little tip will help your suffering from migraine headaches…

Watching TV
Hi! Everyone….I didn’t do much today except watching TV. My husband and I were watching the “Maalaala Mo Kaya” in translations “Do You Still Remember?” from TFC (The Filipino Channel) by Charo Santos. I would like to share to you the story. It’s a true story in the Philippines. The 10 year old girl wrote to Charo to shares her story. They are from province of Romblon but they went to the big city of Manila. Father past away and her mother doesn’t work because she is blind. She has brother who just graduated in High School. She doesn’t go to school only her brother because her mother can’t afford for both of them in school. The mother is supporting them by begging people for money with the helped of the girl. When her brother finished in high school, he has ambition to help his mother not to beg anymore money from people. He will find a job to support them. He finally finds a job in a factory that has small salary and no benefits. Every time he gets paid, he always buys a sweepstakes (or lotto) for his mother. Because that’s the only hobby she really likes. Her mother always says to them that “if there’s a life, there’s a hope”. She and her brother have planned to save money so that they can go back to their home town in Romblon. But because her brother’s salary is not enough, it will take a long time to get the money they needed. One day, her brother and his co-worker decided to build a Union so they could protest their need. Like benefits and higher salary but the manager of the company doesn’t want to give their demands so they started to boycott, rally or strikes. The guards of the company tried to stop them but the people won’t leave until one of the security guard pulled his gun and shots the girl’s brother, he died that day. It’s hard for them to accept that the person they’re depending on is dead. One morning, the girl took the newspaper and looked for the sweepstakes (lotto), the number was all matched. They won 2 million pesos and they went back to their home town of Romblon. They stayed there, open a small business and start a new life. What a sad but beautiful story. Hope you like it coz I did!

I hate cramps!!!
Today, I was not feeling well because I have my monthly thing since yesterday. I’m having cramps, headache and being lazy. Thank God! It’s not migraine just headache. Unlike my friend who is having trouble how to cure her migraine. I felt sorry for her because she always having migraine and medicine seems not helping. Since yesterday, I just laid down all day and I did not do anything just watch my favorite Teleserye LOBO (Philippine Soap Opera). While I was watching TV, I used the heating pad and put it on my stomach to help me for my cramps. I avoid taking any medicine so that my body will not get used to. Good thing that my husband is not home for couple of days for he’s out of town. I don’t have to clean the house or cook except for my daughter’s food. I even started to do laundry but because of my period, I got so lazy, I forgot all about it. Hopefully, tomorrow I will finish all my chores since my husband is back home tonight. And hopefully, I will feel better, too…

Wall Street Crisis
I got worried yesterday when I was reading about the economy crisis in America. Here are some investors that affected badly:
Lehman Brothers Stockholders are hurting the most. The stock, which traded as high as $62 within the last year, is now down to pennies on news that it has filed for bankruptcy.
Behemoth insurer AIG reportedly intends to raise $40 billion, a move that could be highly dilutive to shareholders as that amount is greater than the company's market capitalization at the end of Friday. The end result for AIG and its stockholders is still highly uncertain, so it's unclear what the ultimate impact will be on funds that own it.
The Merrill Lynch takeover hasn't ended up looking so dire for investors in Merrill's stock. The proposed transaction, a $50 billion all-stock trade where each Merrill share will be exchanged for 0.8595 shares of Bank of America stock, looks like it will leave Merrill stockholders with a small premium. Bank of America's stock price closed at $33.74 on Friday and even though it had traded down into the $27 dollar range Monday, it still is worth more to Merrill shareholders than Merrill's $17.05 closing stock price on Friday.
This is the bad news for those who invest their money in big investor company...
This year, we are facing too many crisis and in the future, what else disaster we will experience? Only GOD will know!

What a Natures!!!
Nature is generally distinguished from the supernatural. It ranges in scale from the subatomic to the galactic. These are the example of our nature. Some are nice and beautiful but some are frightening or creepy. The lightning strikes during the 1982 eruption of Galunggung in west Java, Indonesia. Thanks to the crystalinks.com for the wonderful pictures.

Health tips!!!
For those who wants to lose weight, you could blast away body fat by adding lots of whole-grain foods to your diet. The results were dramatic when 50 obese men and women cut calories for 12 weeks-with half eating whole-grain servings. Weight loss for both groups averaged eight to 11 pounds, but those who ate whole grains lost more abdominal fat, lowered their blood pressure and their risk for diabetes."This is the first clinical study to prove that a diet rich in whole grains can lead to weight loss and reduce the risk of several chronic diseases, " according to Dr. Penny Kris-Etherton, who co-headed the research at Penn State University. She recommends selecting oatmeal and breakfast cereals made from whole grains as well as whole-wheat pastas. It takes time before you reach the weight you want it and hopefully this message will help you to lose weight.

Blog hopping!!!
I was blog hopping all day today. I found lots of ideas, nice photos, wonderful layouts and many more. But before I did that, I was looking for tickets to Milan trips online. I was sooo excited to find a cheap tickets that only cost 2 Euros or equivalent to $3.03 round trip. For my excited, I even called my cousin and friend to tell them about the tickets, they agreed that the tickets were cheap! But when I’m about to pay the tickets, they asked a lot of questions that I didn’t expecting. After, I gave my credit card to pay for it, they charging me for extra handling fee. That’s another thing I didn’t expect!! I thought that when they say only 2 Euros, that’s it! Only 2 Euros! This is my first time to look and book for trips on internet. I thought it’s easy as 1 2 3… I was sooo disappointed, I ended up not to get it. So, I went to my friend’s web site and start blog hopping instead. That’s when I saw different ideas, nice photos and many more. I was reading one of the sites that have jokes, my day makes me brighter and I started to smile again. I enjoyed the blog hopping….

Upside Down House???
Today I woke up early to check my email. When I click on internet explorer? this is what caught my eyes an upside down house in Trassenheide, Germany, Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008. The house was built to enable an alternative view on everyday life for visitors.
Workers stand on a scaffolding at the 'Upside Down House' in Trassenheide on Usedom Island, northern Germany, Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008. The house of an entrepreneur from Poland is part of the project 'The World Upside Down' that should allow visitors a different view of every day items. The building is expected to open its doors for visitors in the upcoming week.
Maybe the person who made this house has a brain whose upside down, too??he he...but clever!!!What else they can think of next.

Hurricanes or Typhoons!!!
All over the world, people were disturbing by Hurricanes or Typhoons. Just this year, many people died in mudslides, landslides or even drowns. For example: Hurricane Ike strengthened in the Gulf's warm waters Wednesday and churned toward the Texas coast, and officials started to evacuate the first of millions of residents who could be in the storm's path. Ike bloomed to a Category 2 storm and was likely to grow even stronger before its predicted strike on the Texas coast early Saturday.
Also in the Philippines, some 598 people are dead or missing after Typhoon Marce roared through the Philippines, the Red Cross and civil defence have said. Landslides, severe flooding and the loss of dozens of fishing boats had left at least 224 dead and 374 missing, they said, mostly in central areas which bore the brunt of the storm. They are expecting more typhoons coming until October or maybe November. It's a sad story...

Health tip!
For those who suffers migraine, according to Ohio State University investigators, a new lightweight hand-held device zaps away the excruciating pain of many migraine sufferers. It called a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation device (TMS). It transmits magnetic pulses that interrupt abnormal brain waves. In a new study of migraine sufferers, half received real TMS treatments, while the other half received "phony" zaps. About 40% of those using the genuine device were pain-free after 2 hours, compared to only 22% of those who used the fake device.

Swimming Pool
Earlier today, we went to the swimming pool at the Aquatic Center in Ramstein base, Germany. The Aquatic pool grand opening was just last Thursday, Sept.4. Today is our first day to visit the center. The pool has slides and from 4 feet to 13 feet deep. We stayed I 4 feet deep because my daughter (who’s 11 years old) and I don’t know how to swim (o oh!!! I’m embarrassing myself now???) After a couple of hours, my daughter surprised me!! I didn’t expect that she learned to swim in only 2 hours of practicing. I was still worried that she might drown but watching her??? She does now know how to swim!!! I even register her for swimming lessons but I guess she doesn’t need it anymore. I’m soooo proud of her. So, I guess, I’m the one who needs the swimming lessons…ha ha ha…

Blogging World!!!
This is my first time in blogging. I got interested because one of my friend pushed me to blog. At first, I ignored it because I told her that blogging is not my thing. But when I saw her, that she enjoys writing it and earning money on blog's, I got interested, too. I don't work, I just stay home and take care of my family. One day, I got bored and stared at the computer for hours and finally it hit me about blogging. I decided to do it because I want to share my ideas, personal experiences and thoughts to all my friends and other people. Hopefully, I can last in this blogging world!!!
