Going Green with Eileen Hull and the Art With Heart Inspiration Team

Hello everyone  ^.^  This month we are going green at Art with Heart and inviting you to join us with your "green" project for a chance to win charming Mini Shopping Bag die from Eileen Hull collection From the Heart . As a member of on Inspiration Team today I would like to

share with you my "green" project.

My goal was to recycle as much as possible and to achieve a natural look. That is why my main materials were corrugated cardboard (cut from a packaging box), natural hemp cord,few cinnamon sticks and some patterned paper leftovers.
 

I started by cutting the cardboard with Eileen Hull's recipe card box die.

Then I cut a heart-shaped opening (the paper was adhered from the inside with help of 3D self adhesive foam for more dimension) and started adding layers of paint and stamping

The leaves were cut from patterned paper and then some clear distress crackle and vintage photo distress paint were applied  (when the crackle was dry of course ^.^ )

my favorite recipes ^.^

This month's Art with Heart challenge theme is Favorite Recipes. So for my favorite "recipes" I would like to share with you all some new amazing dies from Eileen Hull latest release Vintage Kitchen due out in December ^.^
Oven is already my favorite, and how it can not be? Just look how pretty ^.^

and here's my recipe on how you can make one of these for yourself ^.^

 

 

 after putting the die together for the finishing touch I added a coat of Glossy Accents  to create subtle metallic shine (I wish it would show in the pictures ^.^)

Cookie Box is the most fun die I had to create with ^.^ (tried to make it all shabby and old, I hope it looks like it)

Vintage Kitchen, a new Sizzix collection by Eileen Hull

Hello everyone!

I have some very exciting news to share with you today. Eileen Hull  has designed a new Sizzix collection Vintage Kitchen.  As a member of the ArtistTradingBlock design team I have been given an amazing opportunity to be one of the first to be able to play and create with these gorgeous dies. So how about a few sneak peeks?...

the Oven die is already one of my favorites 

and here is a brief how-to: 

  for the finishing touch I covered all the piece with Ranger glossy accents ^.^ (so the oven is all glossy and shiny but unfortunately it doesn't show in the pictures)

My next sneak peek is the Cookie Box (I made it a double one ^.^)
