LSC218 My first Sarah Kay image, There She Goes Dollar Find Friday....

Happy TGIF everyone!!!

If you are looking for my LSC210 card please go down a bit further.

Today is my turn to host the *There She Goes* Dollar Find!!! Jessica started this fun little idea a while back. She started transforming items that she had bought fairly cheap into awesome little projects and cards!!! HERE is the link to all the items that Jessica and the TSG DT has transformed so far!!!

I have to admit I was a bit nervous about this project...I hope you all like what I have cooked up in my little craft room?!?

I went to Target a couple weeks ago and found these Valentine Treat Bags in a Clear Container. The original price was $1.99. I bought them for 75% off - that comes basically down to $0.50. I emptied out the treat bags and stored them for next year.

I really liked the *Clear Container* and I figured it would make a really nice *Gift Card* Box. So I ran with that idea!!!

Here is how I started - first I trimmed off the longer end that was sticking out.

Next I decorated the outside of the box by adding the Tangerine Tango CS. The color choice was inspired by the *Stamper's Dream* Challenge I saw the other day - you can view it right here. The theme was to create a *monochromatic* card, once you go down a bit you will see the matching cards I have created and where my inspiration really kicked in - LOL!!! On this outside sheet I randomly inked the flowers from the *Flowers of Happiness* with Versamark and embossed them with White EP.

Then I created a scalloped band and a centerpiece for the top.

This is the complete transformed box.

Here are the matching cards I designed for the *Gift Card* Box. Once I had my color idea going I had to choose a fairly easy design, so I went back in my gallery and found this layout. I continued with the *Flowers of Happiness* Set, but chose a different flower on each CS.

I randomly inked the flowers with Versamark onto Tangerine Tango CS, Pacific Point and Kiwi Kiss CS. I embossed the flowers with White EP. At the end I added the Pearls, the different matching Ribbons and the sentiments which are also from different Set's - Nature of Friendship, Holidays Galore and the Branches Set.

Here are the matching cards close up.

I hope I have inspired you to transform inexpensive stuff too!!! Keep your eyes open when you go to Target or the Dollar Store and have fun transforming your found treasures!!! ~TFL~

Now to the fun part - DO YOU WANT TO WIN MY *GIFT BOX*???

Leave me a comment on this post and I will select a *WINNER* this Sunday evening!!! US, APO and Canadian Addresses ONLY please!!!

****************************************

Here is my card I made for the LSC210 - to create a card less than 30 minutes - ohhh this was so up my alley - LOL!!!

I chose the TECC57 Sketch - which didn't require much layering. The image that was given to me by my friend Michelle - thank you Michelle!!! It's the super cute Sarah Kay image *Country Girl* from Stampavie . This is my very first Sarah Kay image and it was so fun to color. I used several different Copic and Prisma Markers. The sentiment is from the new SU *Really Retro* Set inked in Basic Black. To finish it off I added the fab little Kaiser Chocolate Pearls and the yummy Satin Chocolate Ribbon. Voila!!!

Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!!!

GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED AND WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!

SC214 Happy Easter.....

What a fun SC214 Sketch!!!

I made my card a little bigger 5 1/4" x 5 1/4". The colors I have chosen are -Lavender Lace, So Saffron and Whisper White.

This super cute Easter Bunny image is from *Northwoods* Rubber Stamps and I purchased it at one of my favorite Store to shop *Stamper's Dream*.

Listen to this....I ordered it Saturday Morning and it arrived in my mailbox Monday!!! How cool is that - I was so thrilled!!! Plus I get to show it off today - LOL!!! Thank you Michelle for the quick delivery!!!

Anyway - I first inked the image in Memento Tuxedo Black and then colored it with Prisma and Copic Markers (PM-132, PM-197, PM-86 and YG91, V09). I raised the image and the Lavender Lace CS panel with Stampin Dimensionals.

The card base was scored on the right hand side and I added some Silver Brads on the side. The flowers were accessorised with some small Silver Pearls (Michaels).

The sentiment is from the $-section at AC Moore and I inked in Memento Ink. At the end I took my Color Spritzer and added some fun Lavender Lace spots.
Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

IC158&TECC46 Echoes of Kindness, Stamper's Dream Challenge #3

Can you tell it's *Full Moon*??? I'm up and running.....LOL!!!
When I saw the IC158 Challenge I knew I had to tease you all with a little *Sneak Peak* from this beautiful new Level II Hostess Set that will be in the new Catalog - it's called *Echoes of Kindness*!!! What do you think??? Do you like it???

I chose these cute little Magnets for my inspiration!!! I really liked the colors!!! Taylor's TECC46 Sketch came in handy for this card. I used the beautiful *Haiku* DP on the left and the right side of the card was scored. The image itself was inked with Wild Wasabi and Tangerine Tango. The sentiment was inked in Chocolate Chip.

I layered the flower image on Tangerine Tango and then on Chocolate Chip CS. The border on the side was punched out with the new *Scallop Edge* Punch. I added some small Pearls on top of the scallops. The bow was made with the 1 1/4" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon from SU. Hope you like it???
My idea to create a second card for the
came from
this fun Challenge!!!

Once I saw this necklace and these sweet tooth magnets I knew I wanted to combined it all into one card!!!

This is how it all came together.....I saw this super cute Stamp called *Tiers of Treats* at the *Stamper's Dream* Shop Site and had to have it!!! You probably have seen many gorgeous cards with this Set too....it's just yummy!!!

Okay - I didn't just stop shopping for this Stamp Set...oh no - I came a cross these gorgeous Pewter Pearls and as you can tell they are the perfect little touch on any card....he,he,he!!!

I used Basic Gray CS in the BG and stamped it with the new *Classic Stripes* BG Stamp. The splash of color is *Real Red* from this necklace.....I colored the cherries and the strawberries with a Copic Marker (R29 - Lipstick Red). The rest was colored in with Copic Markers (N1 - Natural Gray, C3 - Cool Gray and C5 - Cool Gray). Next I bedazzled the treats with some Dazzling Diamond Glitter. The sentiment is from a Mini Cupcake Set from Hero Arts - it was inked in Basic Gray.

Hope you'll like my take on the IC??? ~TFL~

SC206 Simply Delights, Mojo64 Silent Night

Hello everyone!!!

It is *full moon* and I couldn't sleep last night - again!!! I'm a mess - LOL!!!

Anyway - I saw the SC206 posted and I must tell ya - I love this Sketch - isn't it awesome???

My dilemma was that I couldn't find the Set I wanted to use right away...that's the bad part about moving stuff around - LOL!!! So I went on a search for my *Simply Delight* Sent Kit...well I forgot I took the Stamp Set out of the box and added it to they other ones....I think it took me 30 minutes to realize that.....but I was soooo happy when I finally found it......

Here is what I did with it - I inked the medallion in Chocolate Chip *Craft* Ink and embossed it with Clear EP. I punched them out with the 1 3/8" Punch and layered them onto 1 1/2" Chocolate Chip Circles. The gorgeous DP is from the *Haiku* Collection. The center panel - also layered onto Chocolate Chip - and the medallions were raised with Stampin Dimensional. To finished it all off I added the sentiment from *All Holidays* and I added the big Halfback Pearls from the *Pretties Kit*.

Hope you like it????

Here is a card I made for Julee Tilman's
Mojo64 Sketch.
I used this cute Stamp cleaning up the other day it's from Stampendous called *Silent Night Snowman* I bought this many years ago at Archiver's - I believe - LOL!?!

I colored the snowman with Ballet Blue and Pumpkin Pie Markers. I bedazzled it with DD Glitter. The DP in the BG is from the Mini Holiday Brochure *Frosty Day*.
The Ribbon is also from SU - Ballet Blue.
I added some blue Gemstones from Hero Arts and scored the bottom three times. This makes a quick card for the Holidays and I still need a few!!!

Thank you for stopping by!!! Have a wonderful day!!!

OCCC, IC157 LSC197 - I'm back!!!

Hey everyone!!! Sorry I've been missing for a couple of days...but life and the Holiday's got in the way!!!

My girls also signed up for Basketball Tuesday's and Thursday's!!! I'm so glad they finally decided on doing something...KWIM???

Anyway - I'm back in the stampin' business and as you can tell I went straight to do some fun Challenges!!!

The fabulous Julee Tilmann came up with this awesome Sketch for today's OCC Challenge!!! Click here to check it out!!!

I used one of the new Stamp Set's from Treehouse called *Make a List*. In this case I made my *Wish List* for Santa!!!

I used the *Ski Solpe* DP from SU for the BG. As you can tell I trimmed the Wish List down a bit to make it fit for the Sketch....I inked the List in Basic Black and layered it onto Old Olive, Whisper White, Real Red CS. I added some DS Blue Bayou Ribbon on the side. The pretty snowflake is from our LSS (Anna Griffin). I finished it all off with some Silver Brads (Michael's).

Like I said it's been a really busy week - I only had a chance to stamp twice this week....so as soon as I saw the IC157 posted last night I ran straight into my craft room and started stampin'!!!!

I chose this gorgeous pendant as my inspiration piece!!!

The main image is called *Agapanthus Cluster* from *Stampendous*. I bought it at our Local Hobby Lobby!!! Here is another card I made recently with the same Stamp.

I love black and white cards - they are so dramatic!!! I started out inking the Cluster with Versamark and embossed it with White EP. Next I added some Silver Brads on the right hand side and raised the whole panel up with Stampin Dimensionals!!!

The beautiful sentiment is from the gorgeous *Here for You* Set from *There She Goes* and it was inked in Basic Black. To finish it all off I added the Black Satin Ribbon (Michael's).

This is my card I made for the LSC197.

Pretty simple - I used Watercolor CS for my base to match the beautiful Anna Griffin DP!!!

I simply love the embossed snowflakes on the DP!!! I added a Silver/Grey Ribbon and stamped the sentiment from the *Fundamental Phrases*!!! That's all....

Have a wonderful weekend!!! See ya soon!!! ~TFL~

TECC36 Eat Your Cupcake!!!

Hey you all and TGIF!!!

I'm so thrilled to be Taylor VanBruggen's *Featured Cupcake Sampler* this week!!!
My week started out kind of slow...didn't feel like I had any *Mojo*going - yep - it happens to me too!!! But then I received this wonderful e-mail from Taylor asking me to be the *her* Cupcake girl and I was like a new person - wahhooo!!! Thank you Taylor for making my week!!!
Just realized my card qualifies for today's LSC188 too!!!

Wasn't sure what colors to use at first - so many options - but then I thought I really like the new *In Colors* and I have not had much of a chance to use the *Pacific Point* and I made it my focal point. Click on the picture to see it larger!!!

I started out embossing the Pacific Point CS with my CB *Dotted* folder. For the panel across I used Tangerine Tango and pierced the top and bottom. I raised this panel with Stampin Dimensionals.

The image itself is from the *Inkadinkado* Set called *Birthday Cupcake* I found it the other day at the new opening of our Hobby Lobby store!!! A girl can't have enough Cupcake Stamps - yeahhh - and it came in so handy for the Sketch!!!

I stamped the Cupcakes with Close to Cocoa and colored them with Prismacolor Markers - Pumpkin Orange (matches Tangerine Tango) PM-153, Limepeel (matches Kiwi Kiss) PM-124, Peacock Blue (matches Pacific Point) PM-125 and Colorless Blender. I used a Brown Copic Marker #E47 for the bottom of the Cupcakes plus a Glitter Pen to add some *sparkles*!!! The second, fourth and sixth cupcake are raise with Stampin Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from a *Hero Arts* Cupcake Set. It was inked in Pacific Point Ink and punched out with SU *Circle Punches*.

Hope you like my take on Taylor's Sketch??? Hope you'll find a chance to play along - have a great weekend!!!

VSCSTAR - Happy Independence Day

Happy Day!!!

Julee Tilman the owner of *Verse Visual* is a new Forum Member over on SCS - WAHOOOO -I'm so excited to see her Company there and I'm so thrilled that she is hosting this wonderful *Star* Challenge. You can see all the details right here.

In honor of Independence Day tomorrow I thought I'd make a *patriotic* card and participate in Julee's Challenge.

I really liked the Sketch Challenge #183 from yesterday and I have used it again for this card.
I've started out with Whisper White as my base. Next I have added the smaller Brilliant Blue CS and then layered it with Real Red.

I have dug out this old CTMH Set called *Let Freedom Ring* and started stamping the *Independence* sentiment on the right hand side of the Real Red CS with the same color Ink plus I've pierced right below it.

Next I have stamped the main image in Real Red then layered it with Brilliant Blue, Real Read and Whisper White. The WW CS was pierced all around. This whole section was raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

The *Star's* were punched out with the SU Star Punches. The smaller Star's were also raised with Stamping Dimensionals after I've added these fun *Star Brad's*.

Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

MOJO44 Flowers

Happy Monday everyone!!!

I'm always excited when Monday comes around - I can't wait to see what Julee Tilman's has in store for us with her fabulous MOJO Monday Sketches!!!

I jumped out of bed this morning and went straight to the computer....now you know how addicted I'm - LOL!!! What I found was this awesome Sketch you can see right here.

Not only do I love Julee's Sketches I love this wonderful *Floral Whimsy* Set from her VV Store!!!
I had to make this card 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" to fit this beautiful flower image.....

I bet you are already tired of seeing the *Plum Pudding* again - sorry guy's - I'll try not to use it for the next cards - if I can - LOL!!!

I have started out with Whisper White and layered it with Plum Pudding (PTI). Next I have added another smaller Whisper White and a Apricot Appeal DP panel. The flower image was inked in Plum Pudding, Apricot Appeal, Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi and Close to Cocoa. I have made a sweet little bow on the vase with a matching purple Scrapbook Floss from Karen Foster . I have layered the image on Apricot Appeal and then on Kraft CS Nestie. This panel was raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

Next I have stamped the sentiment that is also from the *Floral Whimsy* Set with Close to Cocoa and Purely Pomegranate - it was also raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

Then I have started punching the *Photo Corners* with the SU Punch. I have used the smaller ones for this card. I have added some Silver Brads on both of the corners and also next to the main image.

ssnotime38 - Happy Birthday

Here is my card for Sharon Johnson's ssnotime#38. Today's challenge is about stamping with a *Silhouette* image.

Of course I had to use my super gorgeous Stamp from *Hero Arts* called *Silhouette Corner*.

Actually this would have been a combined submission for Sharon's and Beate's Challenges until I have messed up....the image ended up to big for the WSC Sketch and I figured I just have to suck it up and make another card.....(hate when that happens - LOL)!!!

At least I had a Sketch already....I have started with a Whisper White card base. Then added the Wild Wasabi and Pumpkin Pie CS. I have adhered the cute DS Wild Wasabi Ribbon. Next I have started piercing along the top and bottom of the CS's.

The image was colored with Pumpkin Pie and my self made Wild Wasabi Blender Pen. The image was raised with Stampin Dimensionals before I have added it onto the card.

The sentiment is from the *All Holidays* Set and I have stamped it with Chocolate Chip and I also pierced right below the sentiment. ~TFL~

Make sure you check out my card below that I have made for Beate's WSC51. Don't want ya to miss it - LOL!!! Have a great weekend!!!

BIC16 and Blog Candy Sketch

Good Morning!!!

It's Tuesday again and it's time for Beate's "Be Inspired" Challenge #16.

Today I've combined the BIC with my Blog Candy Sketch.
I have chosen Julee Tilman's request to try this Sketch right here. I thought it would work wonderful with the inspiration piece.

First of all I was so excited the Julee had played in my Blog Candy Game.....that I took her sketch and matched it with the super *Floral Whimsy* Stamp Set from Verse Visual. Which gave me the inspiration for this card - with all the lovely flowers and colors.

The colors I have used on my card are Bashful Blue, Apricot Appeal, Purely Pomegranate, Whisper White CS.

For the *Floral Whimsy* image I have used Wild Wasabi, Close to Cocoa, Apricot Appeal and Purely Pomegranate.
Then I have added a *Brown Scrapper's Floss* from Karen Foster right on top of the vase and tied it into a bow. I thought that was just tooooo cute - LOL!!! To balance the card out I have added two *Silver Flower Brads* from the *Styled Silver* SU Hardware.
Hope you like my card??? I'm off to the next request.

WT168 Friends

Sorry it took my so long to post this card, but I was running late this morning to meet my PIL for lunch.
Some of our relatives from Virgina came and we all met in Savannah which is about a 45 minutes drive - I have made it in 30 - he,he,he!!!

First I wanted to play in this WT Challenge, but then I thought about it and I didn't really have a Stamp Set to work with.....but then I read Julia's instructions again and I ran with the *Vacation* theme!!!

Isn't *Vacation* the best time to take it easy and hang out with your friends???
Which led me to use the *Sweetybella* I have recently bought. This is my SCS buddy Denise aka *peanutebee* also known as this past weekends Featured Stamper - she totally rocks!!!

Anyway - that's the both of us eating our yummy, yummy favorite ice cream together!!! Make sure you hop over to Denise's blog to find her version of the *Sweetybella* Stamp!!! Isn't it an awesome card she has made for me???

For my card I have tried to use Beate's WSC#49 Sketch. I think I left one panel off - but that's where I have got the idea for this layout!!!

Since this is a *Vacation* card I went with the fun and bright colors - Yoyo Yellow, Real Red.
For the coloring of the image I have used Yoyo Yellow, Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Close to Cocoa, Brilliant Blue, Creamy Caramel. Everything was colored using a Blender Pen.

I have stamped the image twice and cut out the ice cream. Next I have used the 3-D Liquid Applique and dried it with the Heating Tool - I love how it pops up!!! Then I have raised them up with Stampin Dimensionals!!! I haved added some Dazzling Diamond Glitter to the flowers and my fab necklace I'm wearing - he,he,he!!!!

Denise's favorite flavor is Chocolate Mint and mine is Hawaiian Coconut. Do you think I have made it look alright - LOL???

Thanks flor looking!!!

TECC17 Floral Whimsy

I had a late start today....we had the bi-monthly
Exterminator visit, my two oldest wanted to get a new hair due and the bill's were ready to be paid...

So - all in all I had no stamping time this morning and early afternoon....but thankfully things calmed down and I had the chance to escape to my craft area.

Since I wasn't to crazy about the SCS Sketch Challenge today..... I thought I would browse around really quick to see what Taylor VanBruggen has come up with....and to my pleasant surprise I have found her TECC17 Sketch - Wahoooo - I knew I wanted to try it!!!

This is the card I have created with it . I have used my newly won *Floral Whimsy* Set with it and I'm so loving this Set - have I mentioned this before - LOL???

My color choices were Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose,Close to Cocoa , Purely Pomegranate, Old Olive and Whisper White. Aren't the colors beautiful together???

I have started out stamping the vase image first with Close to Cocoa. Then I have stamped the
flowers with the Purely Pomegranate Stampin Spot and Regal Rose Marker. The stems were colored with the Old Olive Marker. Next I have trimmed the stamped image to were it would fit into the long rectangle scalloped Nestie. The Nestie was cut with the Close to Cocoa CS and then raised with Stampin Dimensional.

To make the Sketch a little more elegant I have added the Ribbon (Michael's) and the small Halfback Pearls.

Hope you like the card and the Sketch I have chosen??? ~TFL~
OOPS - after I have posted the card I realized I should have added the sentiment underneath the image, but I have placed it on the side......see this is what happens when you're getting older - LOL!!!

BTW - IT'S BLOG CANDY TIME AGAIN!!!!! WATCH OUT IT'S COMING SOON!!!!
