Wirestock Part II - Yes I'm Back

Hello to all my friends. Yes I have been away for a while. My laptop went to Windows heaven or Windows hell. The words that Daddy was using I think it was the later of the two. Well Dad was busy working on the boat and he finally got around to reloading the laptop. Mom's still pestering him about the leaking toilet that keeps running, but everything has a priority.

Here are the rest of the pictures from Wirestock.

We had to pull our parents all the way around this lake. I would've preferred to swim across.

Okay humans! We're walking, we're walking, lets try to keep up, no stragglers.

Terriers on the rock. Jeeves, Smitty, me, Ozzy, Romeo, and Asta.

Here we are for another group shot. Nobody said cheese this time.

Me and Mom with my certificate of achievement. I just want the treats in her hand.

Me and Asta in a photo finish. I think she had me by a beards length.

Asta with her Daddy in the tail wagging contest. Asta's Mommy was supposed to paw take in this event with Asta, but she thought George would look better in digits than she would... Hehehe

Jeeves Mom was having lunch and we were trying to figure out if she had american or chedder cheese on that burger.

Well it's time to hit the road.

I had a nice nap on the trip home. Dad took a wrong turn and we wound up taking the scenic trip home. Mom and Dad were ready for a nap when they got home. I was ready to Rock-n-Roll.

Well we had a good time and for a good cause. I am so glad I got to meet new friends and hope to get together for some more wirey fun.

Luna Licks,

PS: Best wishes to Asta's Daddy George for a speedy recovery. Hope you get to go home soon.

Wirestock Part 1

Sunday morning Mom and Dad woke me up for Wirestock before the sun came up. Actually Mom woke Dad and I up. There was lots of bag packing going on and then we climbed into the Jeep and off we went. When we finally got to Bear Mountain we walked around but did not see anyone from Team Wire.

For those of you just tuning in we are participating in a dog walk for the American Cancer Society.

Out of no where we found Asta. She was very excited to see me. She sniffed me from my fuzzy head to my fuzzy butt.

Whats this? Another Wire, it was Jeeves with his Mom Amy in tow. Jeeves is very cute.

Two more Foxies showed up. It's an invasion! It was Ozzy and Romeo. Their Mom came up with the idea for Team Wire. They look very GQ in their Wirestock tee-shirts.

Ozzy and Romeo came over to say hello. Ozzy whispered something in my ear and there is a great picture of me on Ozzys blog giving him a scolding.

Ozzy and Romeo's Mom Jen brought us presents. Inside were yummy homemade cookies.

Here is Asta showing off her most pawfect behavior to get a treat from her Mom. Smitty prefers to do the dancing bear routine for treats.

Here I am showing off my pawfect behavior for getting treats. We are just a couple of wirey angels. If there were any muddy paw prints on the humans pants it wasn't from us.

It was time to line up for a group shot before the walk.

It went something like this...

Some Human with a camera: Okay look at the camera and say CHEESE!!!

Romeo: Cheese??? What cheese???

Asta: Did someone say cheese?

Ozzy: There's no cheese here.

Jeeves: Hey get off me and go find your own cheese.

Smitty: I can't find no stinking cheese.

Me: I think we've been had.

Well so much for the group shot.

It's getting late so I'm going to stop here for now.

To be continued....

Chubby WFT

Hello everyone, I know I haven't posted in a few weeks. Yes the Mets lost their home opener.

Well this morning Dad stepped on the bathroom scale and recorded the number presented.

I was not made aware of this information, it's apparently confidential health information. Dad then scooped me up and stepped on the scale again. I was not given this number either... You guessed it, confidential health information. Then Dad did some arithmetic, the result??? Luna's gross weight = 23.8lbs. It's gross alright. I think if I got plucked I'd be an even 23. Mom says no more table scraps (GRRRRRR) for this Wide Fox Terrier, and plenty of exercise.

Next Sunday I will be joining Team Wire at Bear Mountain State Park for the American Cancer Society walk. Mom ordered me a medium tee shirt for the event. I think the M stands for miniature, not medium.

I had to suck it in so Dad could put this on me.

Click here for Wirestock products. The money goes to a good cause to fight cancer.

This will be the first time since I left my siblings when I was a pup that I will come beard-to-beard with another Wire Fox Terrier. Ozzy, Romeo, Asta Urbanista, and Smitty will be there. I can't wait, maybe I can run around with my furry friends and burn off some of these love handles.

On a side note, Thursday the 24th was my 1 year blog anniversary. Thank you to all my readers for visiting my blog.
