Life is sweet layout | Mercy Tiara Kit Club | Take me home kit
Good morning everyone!! I got my September kit from Mercy Tiara kits last night and I had to dive right in!
I made a quick unboxing, you can find that on my youtube channel, along with a process video for this layout too, just a heads up lol.
But I really had to dive right in and make a layout, I have other layouts with Augusts kit still, but I wanted to play. So here is my first layout with this kit.
I knew what pictures I wanted to scrap, these sweet ones of one of my daughters and this sweet horse that she loves to feed, brush, and talk to. This is probably one of her favorite things right now. I didn't want a white background so I went for the Bazzil mint cardstock with the cute little dots on it. I added a little TCW shimmery goodness out of my stash, jutst to add some shimmer to the layout.
I cut little strips from one of the Simple stories papers and a strip from one of the Fancy pants papers and added them to the top and bottom of the layout.
I'm not patient, so I started to add layers behind my pictures, tuck things here and there. Add my foam adhesivce and cut some more strips to comeout to the left of my layout.
I pulled out some frames form the ephemer, simple stores frame packet and pinkfresh studio ones as well and tucked them in here and there. I added my title at the bottom, added a few more of those rubons, I love them by the way! They work so well!! The I pulled those sweet, beautiful sequins and started plavcing them all over my layout until I was happy and then I called this lauyout done!
If you liked this layout and want to see a process video of how everything came together, check it out here and make sure you likeand subscribe so youll know when I put out more content. And if you have any questions feel free to ask!! Have a great day!!

So Cool Layout | Mercy Tiara Kit Club DT
Good morning, everyone!! How are you doing today?? The week is halfway over, are you happy or is it going to slow?? Well for me, scrapbooking helps a little bit with the wishing that the weekend was here already lol and having a new kit to play with, helps even more!!
So today I am sharing my first layout with the June kit, Summer Vibes, from Mercy Tiara kit club. And oh man is this kit soooooo worth it! I went outside of what I normally do, no white background!! I think the only white on this layout is the mat for my photos!
I knew what photos I wanted to use, and that Pinkfresh Studio paper, Sun and Sand just yelled at me!! I wanted to use it as soon as I saw it. So, I grabbed it and started cutting it up. Right into the strips that were on the paper but taking out the white bits. I also love the Patina Bazill cardstock so I figured I would combine them. Honestly the most aggravating thing about this layout was my sewing machine! I ran out of thread in the middle of a line I was sewing and didn’t realize it at first, so I had to try and make sure to hit the same holes when I went back over it! Lol That was completely on me!!
Once I had that all under control, I ruffed up the edges of the paper with my nails and moved on to adding my photos. I pulled out the Simple Stories Retro summer bits and pieces along with Pinkfresh Studios floral ephemera and started to add those pieces as layers behind my pictures.
I added my title after that. This was an easy one and after making it a priority with last months kit to use the foam stickers, it was easy to do with this one too. I thought So Cool worked great for this little miss and the color was perfect too! After the title I added a few word strips and of course those beautiful sequins and called this layout done!
Make sure to follow Mercy Tiara kit club on Instagram and join the facebook group too and share your projects!! You can also head over to the Mercy Tiara site and grab this kit and some of the past ones too!

Blessed layout | Mercy Tiara kit Club DT
Good morning, everyone!! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good, had to deal with some weather again so that sucked but were all here and that’s all that matters.
I am still playing with the Mercy Tiara June kit, Brighter Days. I have been absolutely loving this kit!! I also thought I would use another one of the cutfiles you get when you get your kits too.
I decided to go with quite a few photos for this layout, 8 actually. Lol I went ahead and made them into photo strips so I could stack them a little and make sure to get them all on my layout without it being to over whelming.
I sent my white cardstock through my silhouette, added a LOT of foam adhesive to the back of it and then backed it with that beautiful Pinkfresh studio, Spring Vibes, Soak it up patterned paper. I love this paper!! I rotated the paper so that the yellow part looked like it was coming out from behind where I wanted my photos to go.
I added that to the right side of my layout and then went to working on my photos and the clusters that I was going to put around them lol
I pulled bits and pieces from pretty much every ephemera pack or sticker sheet there was in the kit and ephemera add on. I had fun cutting things in half and sliding them here and there, layering other bits on top. I added foam behind the photos that were on the left and then added some foam stickers there too.
Once I had everything where I wanted, I pulled out my typewriter and did my journaling. I cut that all down and added it to the left side of my layout and then decided I wanted to add some of the enamel dots and then I called this layout done!
V√I hope you enjoyed this layout and I hope you come back and see what else I come up with. Make sure to head over the Mercy Tiara Kit club site, there are some of this kit left and you can also grab the new July kit, Summer Vibes!! Totally worth it!!

Amazing Girls Layout | Mercy Tiara Kit Club DT
Good morning all you crafty people!! I'm back again this weeek to share another layout made with the Brighter Days kit form the Mercy Tiara Kit Club!!.
I started this layout by picking my photos. I knew what ones I wanted to use, so I grabbed them. I pulled papers from the kit and started to back my photos anf get them in the configuration I knew I wanted and then remembered I had these beautiful cutfiles I could use!! Soooo, of course I pulled out my cutty machine, added the papers I wanted to use, patterned paper and some white cardstock and let it cut the rainbow and flower out.
I decided to put the rainbow on the left side of my layout and everything towards the top because of the way the girls were looking. It just seemed to fit for me. So I added the rainbos down, and then added the flower behind my photos to just add a little more dimension and I thought it looked nice too.
Once I had the area around my photos the way I wanted, I added my title, one of the large fome stickers from the Flea Market collection, I dont tend to use these but this year I have been trying to make my self step out of my own box. But it worked perfect for my title, along with some of the amazing thickers in the kit too!! I love these Eclair foam thickers!! I layered some of the little bits and bobs form the embellishment under my title and I thought I was done, but I decided to cut my layout down and add a boarder for some more color. I'm glad I did, I like it so much better. I also decided to run the edges of my white Cardstock threw my sewing machine and the rainbow too.
I popped up a few of the stars from the cut file and then added some Heidi Swapp gold color shine from my stash, added some of the beautiful exclusive sequins here and there. Pulled out my typewriter, typed up my journaling, added it to my layout and called this one good!!
I hope you enjoyed this layout, and I hope you come back to check out more!! Make sure to check out my Instagram for more insperation, along with my Youtube TikTok facebook and the Mercy Tiara Facebook Group too!!

Fur Baby | Clique kits Design team
Good morning, everyone! Summer is still in full swing here and we are spending a lot of time outside. When the kids are busy playing sometimes, I like to sit back in my hammock and read. Well, the day I scrapbooked about one of my dogs decided to be my shadow. He wouldn't leave my side lol, so I had to snap some pictures and scrap them.
I love this collection by the way lol. The kit I chose to work with was the good Stuff sampler kit.The colors are so bright and fun, one of the reasons I picked it! I started off matting my photos into a photo strip and then running the dark blue paper with criss-crosses on it, through my sizzix. I loved all the non-perfect circles and the fact that I could use this color and not make it seem to dark. My pup was looking off to the right so I thought I would put my photo strip to the left of the layout and move on with my layout from there.
I went through the papers and pulled different ones I thought I might want to use and set those aside and pulled a few that I wanted to fussy cut a few things out of too. I pulled the rainbow striped paper out and decided to use it across the bottom of my layout, but I didn’t want that to be the only paper I used so I cut a strip of peachy pink paper too. I used a punch from my stash and ran it along one edge of that and slid it under the striped paper.
I went through and started pulling ephemera out and playing with where I wanted it on my layout, along with a few of the items I had fussy cut out earlier. I had thought I was going to use just the 3 labels I had cut out for my journaling and realized I had more I wanted to document, so I decided to make the patterned papers I added to my layout a pocket. This way I could hid a little more journaling n my layout and not make it overwhelming.
When I was done sticking all my stickers and labels and stuff down, I thought there was too much white space at the top. I saw that cute sun in the ephemera pack and thought it would work great on the top of my layout, so I cut out a few clouds by hand and laid them on my layout but thought I would take it a step further and run it through my sewing machine too. Lol. That finished this layout off.

Nope Not Today Layout | Clique Kits DT
Good morning everyone! I hope your weekend was good! Well today I wanted to share a new layout with you using the Sampler kit, The Good Stuff. Its chock full of beautiful Simple Stories products and I love it!!
This kit has so many cut a parts, if that's the way you want to go, if not then there is the full patterned papers on the other side. So Many options!
I use to only scrap the good, happy things, but I thought that's not real life. There are bad or sad things that happen too. Well, a few weeks ago we were out playing and my daughter wiped out on her scooter. She handled it so well though. She sat down and cleaned it up, rested for a few minutes and was back at it. I was proud of her. And I guess this wasn't only sad or anything, like I said she handled it well.
Well to the layout lol, I pulled out The Good Stuff kit and started pulling papers that I thought I might want to use, so all of them! lol But I went through and pulled ones that I thought went well with what I was scrapbooking and telling the story about. First I saw the one that said Nope. And the fact that it had room for journaling, it was perfect! I liked the floral one too, but wanted something else added to it. So, I grabbed those and a few others, but decided when I laid them out that I only really wanted the two cards and to back my my photos with white cardstock.
I had set them up in a grid or square on my layout and decided it was just too much white. There needed to be some more color behind everything. So back to my papers and I found the adorable paper with peaches on it. I decided to use it, other than it was cute, she was a peach about the whole deal, she handled it so well, so I thought it was fitting lol. Plus really it's cute! I added the peach paper to the background and ran it through my sewing machine, this way it was in place and I was really starting lol. I laid my pictures and cards back and thought it needed something more, so I grabbed a scrap piece of the dotted paper and added it too and ran it through my sewing machine.
After I had my jumping off point on my page, I started to stick down my cards and photos. I took another scrap and added it behind the bottom left cut a part and then started sewing again. I like the look of the stitching. I had already ran my journaling card through my printer, so that was done and able to be sewn on. But I made sure to leave a little space at the top of my journaling card to be able to slide a tag in and add a little more info for her, when she gets older. A little note from momma ay know lol
At this point I needed to pull some ephemera and add little bits here and there to finish off my layout. I pulled out my ephemera and of course had to add some flowers, but I love that there was a little banner that said nope not today to add to my bottom left card. I also cut out a label from one of the cut a parts and added it then added some more stitching. I added a little circle with a heart on it and a sticker to the picture of her little knee. I pulled out the enamel dots and added them here and there and my layout was done.
I hope you enjoyed this layout and make sure to head to the shop and check out all the new goodies in there!

Zonked / SpiegelMomScraps DT / Sketch it out Saturday
Good morning everyone! Sarah here this morning to share with you another layout I made with some amazing sequins, felties and a bit of washi.
I picked another of the thousands of sketches I have pinned on Pinterest and played with it and I will share it with you, and I hope you'll play along with me! The layout comes from https://denimtamponsblog.wordpress.com
I had this picture of one of my daughters, she was crashed out on the couch and I thought it was cute so I grabbed it to scrap. My background paper was from We R Memory keepers. I'm still experimenting with mixed media and I loved how this paper had the look of some water color on it already that I didnt have to do. But the sketch still had a messy circle behind everything, so I grabbed my Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Tinsel and did the packaging technique.
I pulled out my With all my heart collection from Pretty little studio and a frame from Simple stories and started playing. The sketch had a tag looking thing behind the photo, so I grabbed a tag from the collection I pulled, the tag wasn't long enough for the photo so I layered a few other papers behind until I got it just how I wanted it.
I didn't adhere anything down to the background at this point because I wanted to do a little stitching where it showed the film strip. I loaded my sewing machine with black thread and did my little stitching and was ready to start taping down my stuff. I started with my frame, then used some 3D foam adhesive to pop up my photo on a tag and adhered that down too.
The sketch had a little red strip at the bottom of the photo, I thought about using washi tape or a strip of paper, but decided I wanted a little more color. So I grabbed some of the labels from the Pretty little Studio collection and layered those under the photo. At this point I couldn't find my white feltie clouds and was kinda freaking out, but as you see I found them!
Where it showed stars and other embellishments on the sketch I decided to used my pretty clouds. I layered a few on the frame and bottom right of the photo, then moved up to the tops right side of the frame. When I added the clouds around the frame I decided to add some washi tape as well. Then went back to adding fluffy clouds to my layout, those tiny little ones are just so cute! I added a big thread nest to the top left of the photo like on the sketch and I just love using thread on my layouts!
Then came some more fun!! I grabbed several packages of sequins, Gotta love emojis, Holly Berries, Purple Rain and Magical Ocean and started to mix and match them and put them all over my layout! Magical Ocean had different sized stars that went perfect with this layout! I added a few work stickers and that was it for this layout!
Thanks so much for checking out what I made today and hope you come back and see what else we have for you to be inspired by!

Love love love you so much / Hip Kit club CT
Good morning everyone!
Well I'm sharing my last layout that I created for Hip Kit club as a design team member. Septembers kit was AMAZING!! I loved all the beautiful papers and embellishments that there were to play with.
Well I'm sharing my last layout that I created for Hip Kit club as a design team member. Septembers kit was AMAZING!! I loved all the beautiful papers and embellishments that there were to play with.
This layout is of me and my oldest son at his elementary school graduation. He did so good and I'm so proud of him! He ended the year on such a high note, so happy, cant tell I'm a proud momma hu? lol
This was actually after graduation, there was a little celebration for all the kids and their families and of course were a goofy family, so we took a nice picture and then the goofy took over!
The pretty papers from the Maggie Holmes, Gather collection were fantastic along with the Simple Stories, Posh papers, the combination was great and it worked great for a page with a boy. A lot of people may see this as a kit full of pretty pinks and florals, but there are plenty of things to make a boy page too!
I layered that great cut-file Ashley Horton created on the teal paper by Simple Stories and both of those on a sheet of white cardstock by American crafts. I added layers behind my pictures and then I started playing with all the little pretties in the kit and layering them around my layout.
I enjoyed my time with Hip kit club, but now its on to new adventures so I hope you come back and check out what I'm up to and keep checking out the Hip Kit blog!

Oh Snap
I was in my scrappy room a while back and decided I was going to put my kits up and play with my stash, since I hadn't done that in a while and my pretty stash was just sitting there. So I grabbed a picture, I don't scrap chronologically, so I grabbed this picture of my oldest son from this spring when we went on a weekend trip to my in-laws.
We all love going up there and hanging out. It takes a few hours to get there but everyone is always glad to be there. The kids love that they get to be out in the middle of nowhere and my oldest loves to ride the four wheelers!
We all love going up there and hanging out. It takes a few hours to get there but everyone is always glad to be there. The kids love that they get to be out in the middle of nowhere and my oldest loves to ride the four wheelers!
I decided I wasn't going to go with my plain white background like I usually do, trying to break out of that, but we will see. lol so I grabbed my American Crafts light kraft card stock and dove into my stash to pick patterned papers. I found in my 6x6 paper pads that I had a We R Memory Keepers, notable paper pad. I loved the colors and hadn't touched it yet so I pulled it.
I rooted threw some of my ephemera drawers and ended up pulling things from Pink Paislee, Pink Fresh Studio, Crate paper wonder, Basic Grey, Simple Stories, Heidi Swapp and Amy Tan. I think thats all...
I guess I was kind of procrastinating cause I turned on my silhouette design studio and started scrolling threw my cut-files and I was glad that I did, I found this one that Kim Watson had made, it was actually only the one, but I manipulated it and combined a few of them in different sizes. Once it was cut I started putting pieces of patterned paper in different places that I liked and backed my photo. Then I adhered it all down and went to embellishing!
I combined so many collections, it makes me happy when I can do that, the old and the new combined and they look good together to me.
Oh I also used a Hip Kit club exclusive flair button on this layout. I had fun with this layout and am hoping to dig into my stash more and more, I need to so all those pretties aren't just sitting there anymore!!
Thanks for stopping by to check this out!

Away we Go / Pretty Little Studio DT
Hello everyone!!
Sarah here today to share a layout with you of my oldest boy, graduating from elementary school. Oh how fast they grow and time passes. It feels like this just happened and today I got the new school supplies lists, Crazy!! lol
I loved the colors in this collection, I thought, well hey there for travel but would work just as good for a boy page. So I started layering behind my photo and worked out from there to be honest. A little tip from me to you for today is that layering adds great dimension to your layouts and more interest, whether it be with you papers or your embellishments. It draws your eye in to look at different places on your layout.
After I was satisfied with my layering, I decided I wanted a little something on the right hand side of the page to. So I cut the papers and adhered them down to look like they came from a 12×12 sheet and started embellishing! I love scrapping period but man do I love getting into those embellishments and playing! I added shipping tags into the layers, label cut outs, tabs and mini phrases and words.
I really love how this layout turned out and I hope you enjoyed seeing it!!
Pretty Little Studio products used:
- Let’s go Travel Collection: London patterned paper, Snapshot/Coral patterned paper, Athens patterned paper,Aspen patterned paper, Arrival/Coral Vellum, Cheyenne Shipping tags, Lincoln cut-out labels, Charleston mini words, Palm City phrase strips cut-out tags, Define Travel tickets, Tahiti tabs

Hip Kit club CT/ The Meatloaf
Hello everyone!
So I've been playing with my May Hip Kits still and loving the versatility of them. I have made girly layouts, boy layouts, cards and now a layout about one of my fur babies.
I always go about starting my layouts in different ways, this time I had chose the pictures first. With having that it made it way easier to choose the colors I wanted to use. The Simple Stories, Life in color frame from the Embellishment kit was actually the 1st thing from the kits that I chose. I just thought it was to cute not to use and I liked that it repeated love across the little tag on it.
After that I grabbed a few pieces of American crafts white cardstock from the cardstock kit. I ran one threw my Silhouette and used a cutfile and did a white on white background. I did go back and add some of the HKC exclusive paper, Medowbrook, Starlit Sprinkle from the Main kit created by Kim Watson.
After I got my background settled I grabbed the American crafts Butter cardstock from the cardstock kit and punched a few strips to go along side the Jillibean Soup, Healthy Hello soup, Jar of Jambo paper to go behind the pictures of my pup, to give it more of a central place to sit. After I got my pictures settled I grabbed the HKC exclusive ephemera pack and placed a few pieces around the layout, I punched out a few tabs and realized I didnt have any more red any where on the layout so I reached into my stash and grabbed my Little B red washi and used it in a few places and I loved the little pops it gave.
To finish my layout I needed my title and I love the HKC exclusive puffy alphas in this kit, and the color was perfect so I grabbed them and added my title, I did a little bit of journaling about my goofy pup, this is something I'm trying to do more. Journaling on my layouts is hard for me because Im not big on my handwriting and I always feel like Im going to mess a layout up with it, so I use to always journal on the back, but I want to have things hand written by me for my kits when they get older, so Im trying lol. But after that I added a few enamel dots from the Echo Park Summer Party and that was it for this layout.
I hope you liked this layout, I know I have a few more projects I'll be sharing that were made with this kit, One is even a mothers day gift I made for my mom this year. But make sure you head over to the Hip Kit Club site and check out the June kits before there gone!! I promise you wont want to miss them!!! So many pretty exclusives and other items that match so fantastically!!
And make sure to head over to the blog and see everything all the other lovely DT members have been making and check out the Hip Kit Club Facebook page and join in on some of the challenges, when you participate you have a chance to win a $10 gift card and it would be great to go towards a kit for your first time!
