Magic Monday...#ShowYourDisneySide memorabilia

Good evening! Today's layout features some memorabilia that I brought home from our last Disney trip, a brochure from the #Rock Your Disney Side 24-hour event that welcomed us on our first day. I had a fun photo that someone took of us in front of the Magic Kingdom train station, with the Rock Your Disney side banner in the background, and I thought that it would be the perfect compliment to the brochure.
I used supplies from my July CKC kit:

And here's a look at the brochure (I love just stapling them at the top so that I can fold them out and look at them if I choose to.):

That's all for tonight, I'll be back in couple of days (the 24th) to show what I have been making with my August CKC kit. See ya real soon!

Magic Monday... Celebrate the Magic

For today's edition of Magic Monday, I took the challenge from Disneyscrappers
Night Magic Challenge
Nothing is as beautiful at night as a Disney Park, it just twinkles and sparkles all around you.
The lighting around the parks, the parades, and the spectacular shows. I know you have many many night time photos that you want to scrap, but it can be intimidating.
For this challenge create a layout using photos taken at night in a Disney Park or Resort.
You must add something that sparkles
And also use these 3 night time Disney colors:
PinkYellow/Gold, and Blue/Teal
This challenge was the perfect inspiration to scrap this photo from the "Celebrate The Magic" castle show the last time we were at the Magic Kingdom. I used supplies from my April CKC kit, "Secret Garden." I made the journaling card in my Project Life app, and printed it at home. The glittery blue snowflakes were the only thing that were not in the kit, but I felt that this would be the perfect opportunity to use up the package and give a little nod to Frozen.

Magic Monday...July 4th Edition

Good morning! Happy Independence Day!

As you may have noticed if you are a long time follower, my blogging has been a bit on the few and far between side of things lately. So, I have decided to jazz it up a bit with at least one new blog series that will (hopefully) keep me blogging on a bit of a more regular basis. I have another Disney trip planned for this fall, and still several pages that I want to make about my last trip, so the two don't get jumbled in my my mind. I also have a few crafty projects and ideas that I want to make for our upcoming trip, so I think that this will be the perfect place to share these pages and projects, and keep me motivated to finish them. So, without further ado, welcome to the new "Magic Monday" series.
For this page, I was inspired by a couple of challenges over at the Disney Scrappers site. There were several challenges that I have been meaning to play along with from the International Scrapbook Day crop, and I finally got a chance. The first challenge was to be inspired by a Disney color palette. I have had Alice in Wonderland on the brain lately, since I am participating in an Alice themed swap, so I knew I wanted to do a page from our ride on the Tea Cups ride in Magic Kingdom.

Here is the color palette that I chose, sort of a softer take on the Alice In Wonderland colors:
I still had quite a bit of stash from my April "Secret Garden" Counterfeit kit, and I knew that I wanted to incorporate florals into this page because of the topiaries-and that a tea party needs flowers-so, this kit was perfect for this page.

Disney Scrappers had a border punch challenge for June, and I had a border punch in my Secret Garden kit, so I incorporated that into my page as well.

A glimpse into the details of this page:

So, there you have it. A little "Disney Magic" for your Monday! What do you think? I would love to have you stop by next Monday for the next installment of Magic Monday! If this post inspires you to scrap some of your own Disney memories, I would love to see-link me up!

Magic Monday with Mickey

Good morning! Just popping by to share couple of layouts with you this morning! Today's layouts feature our meeting with Sorcerer Mickey in Hollywood Studios. This was a great character meet and greet for us, with very low wait times. We were able to see Mickey and the Incredibles in less than an hour. It was also our first time to actually talk to the "main mouse" himeself.
The layouts were made with bits from my June Counterfeit kit, and other various leftover bits and pieces from other past kits.

My youngest, Cecilia made the mouse ears paper for me with some Sharpies, so I had to find a way to use it, and I thought that a page about Mickey himself was perfect for it. She was so excited when she saw that I used it for a page!

This next layout came mostly from my Counterfeit kit, along with a few left over bits and pieces from previous kits, like the circle border sticker from my May add-on kit, and other various scraps.

Thanks for stopping by this morning to share in another "Magic Monday" with me! Have a "Magical" day!

P.S. Can you believe it's almost time for the July Counterfeit kit challenge reveal? I am busy editing my photos for that, and preparing for a baby shower that I will be hosting for my little sister later this month. I can't wait to share it all with you guys!

Magic Monday...Arghh! No Pirates

Good morning! Welcome to a new segment on my blog that I plan to make a regularly recurring segment, Magic Mondays. I intend to start sharing my Disney related scrapbook pages (and any other Disney DIY, news, etc, on Mondays. Mainly  as a way to motivate myself to get those Disney layouts scrapped, as we are planning another trip in 2016! Yay! Today's layout is made using my Counterfeit Kit for June , plus a few leftover bits from previous kits, and an ancient pirate themed sticker sheet.

Here's a look at my layout for today:

We had such fun meeting Tinkerbell-she was one of our favorite characters for sure! Her interaction with everyone was so funny and unique. When Natalie came up to meet her, she tried to stave her off with a giant crayon, because she "must be a pirate, since she had a tattoo". We all laughed and laughed!
