Midweek Magnolias #39 Stars

Good morning friends and followers.

It's time for challenge #39 over at the Midweek Magnolias today. We are totally in Christmas mode these days, and our theme this week is

Starlight, star bright...
use a star on your card (and don't forget we're a Magnolia challenge!)

I made another bottle-tag for this challenge. This one is very much inspired by one of my favorite Magnolia- artists: Camilla S, she even has a quick tutorial on her blog.

I used papers from the lovely Maja Design "It's Christmas time" collection. These are the Christmas Boubles (back side) and "Tid for Fest" from the 6x6 pad.
I made my own template for the star tag. I used Martha Steward punch, spellbinder die, Magnolia doohickey's: Spruce (the trees), snowflake and the small flowers. I also used a La la land swirl die called Holly Flourish die.

On the tag I used WOC roses, white Mulberry Paper Poppies. The lace is the sand beige "Fleurs Des Jardins". The image is Angel Tilda, colored with distress ink pads and markers.

On the front I used a circle from the Maja Design Cut out Sheet. The two laces I used are the white Rhinestone Lace and the light antique Mauve "Antique Belle" all from the Live and Love Craft Store.

Hope you like it!

Pop over to the Midweek Magnolias to see the beautiful creations of the rest of the DT, and join in for a chance to win a fabulous surprise from Magnolia of Sweden!

Live & Love Craft Sunday Inspiration

God morning friends,
It's my turn to showcase a project  Live and Love craft inspiration and challenge blog today. We are having an angel-theme this week. You should stop by the blog to see the gorgeous creations of the DT this week. Angels are perfect for the upcoming season, and I found one of my older magnolias and made a Christmas card in blues and whites.

I used papers from the lovely Pion design; Guardian Angel 6x6. I added some light blue Jute Ribbon and the gorgeous Vintage Scallop Lace Trim. I colored the Magnolia stamp with Distress Ink. The pearls are Melissa Frances white pearls and I added i piece of cheese cloth behind the image. The punches and dies are from Martha Stewart, Magnolia doohickey's and spellbinders. The postmark stamps and sentiment are from Kort og Godt.

I colored my Magnolia Angel with distress ink pads and markers.
I used: tattered rose and vintage photo for the skin. The cheeks are a mix of aged mahogony and tattered rose. I used antique linnen, walnut stains and a touch of vintage photo for the hair, black sooth for the dress and wings, stormy sky for the shadow and mustard seed and vintage photo for the star. The stamps around Tilda are some older magnolia snowflakes.

The beautiful Shabby Seam Binding is now in restock at the LLC Store, I use the sky blue one here. I also used a Vintage Pearl Brad from Creative Charms and a silver Jingle bell- perfect for any Christmas project.

The big flower is put together with Doily Flower dies- Magnolia doohickey's.  I used  distress ink to color some of them to match my blue card, and I stamped with snowflakes on the big one. The roses are from WOC and the charms are from my stash. I also attached a little piece of pearl string and a Vintage Trinklet Heart Pin.

Here's a peak at the inside too.
