Vintage birthday card/ Vintage Bursdagskort

Hi friends,
How are you all doing? I spend the whole weekend at a crop a couple of weeks ago, I had so much fun chatting, laughing and making cads two whole days (and nights...lol) !!! True soul food for me! I finished off the weekend with a fun class with the sweet and talented Irina Blount of La La Land Crafts. I was so tired I could hardly keep my eyes open due to lack of sleep, but it was very much inspering! I will be back to show you the two cards she taught us in a couple of days.

To hele dager (og netter he he...) med skravling, latter og scrapping. Utrolig gøy- skikkelig balsam for sjela!!!!

Litt utypisk meg, men morsomt å eksperimentere. Hi Hi.
Here's one of the cards I made at the crop. I made it for a colleague of mine. Luckily one of the other ladies at my table had some colorful papers to spend on me...Mine are mostly pink or baby blue...lol. Thanks Kjersti!

Dies by Tim Holtz/Sizzix, Spellbinders, Memorybox. Papers by Authentique, Vintage photo and cut-outs by Pion Design. Sentiment by Norsk Stempelblad AS.

Here's the inside tag.

Stamps by Tim Holtz and Kreativ Hobby.

Jeg vil delta med dette kortet hos

Ønsker deg en riktig god helg!
Takk for at du tittet innom!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend,
Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas in blue and white

Hi crafty friends,
Hope you are doing well! I'm busy getting all my christmas cards done... and having lots of fun doing it! This is a card I made for the Christmas Edition of Ett Trykk Magazine.
I've been having a thing for paperbag cards lately, easy to make and very decorative.

Here's the front. I used Maja Design papers, a Martha Stewart Snowflake edge punch, and I used the snowflakes from the corner punch to decorate the card. The trees are made from the Magnolia Spruce die, and sentiments are by Norsk Stempelblad as. The cute Trumpet punch is from the Live & Love craft store.

The image is the Christmas Carolling couple by the Paper Nest Dolls. I colored it with copic markers.
Copics used. Skin E13-11-00-000, R20
Hair. E49-47-44-43-41 and E44-43-41-40
Clothes are:
Brown: E49-47-44-43-41
Blue: B99-97-95-93-91 and W7
White: W7-3-1-00
Yellows: YR23-08, Y21
I made the snow effect using Frantage- chunky white.

I made a tag to go inside. I decorated it with Maja papers, the snowflake punch and christmas sentiments by Norsk Stempelblad AS.

Here's the back of the card too.

Hope you like it. Enjoy the season!
Thank you so much for stopping by today, hope you like my card!

DT Unik Hobby- Paperbag card with Wee Stamps

Good morning, I hope your day is looking good!

I want to show you a paperbag card i made for the Unik Hobby blog this month.

I've been having lot's of fun making paperbag cards lately.
I adore these new Maja Design Papers, I want to use them for everything I make these days...lol.

I used gesso on the paperbag  before I decorated it with papers and stash. Lots of distressing going on here:)

I colored this super sweet Wimsy Stam: Hopeful by Wee Stamps with my Copic Markers.
Purple details/Lilla detaljer: V99-95-93-91
Ground/ Bakke og lykta: E35-33-31-30
Shadows/Skygge: B60, C1

Here's the card inside the paperbag. I made it from cardstock.

And the back of the card looks like this. oh I love these papers!

Paperbag- second paper flower tutorial

Good evening friends and followers,
I while ago I showed you how I made flowers for this paper-gift bag. I promised you a tutorial on how to make the second flower on this bag- and here it is. You can find the first tutorial HERE.

Here's how to make this flower:

1. You need a die, a die-cutting machine, a few pages from an old book, a brad and distress ink if you want that aged look.

2. I used a Nesting doily cirkle die by Lifestyle crafts. The papers are so thin I could cut 4 or 5 layers.

3. I made my flower from 8 layers of paper.

4. Allign the papers. Make a hole in the center with a brad (works fine because the paper is so thin). The color  of the brad is not important because it won't show on the finished flower.

5. Now crunch each layer towards the center, one by one. Start with the top layer.

6. Continue with the next layer, then the next until you have curled all the layers.

7. Distress the edges with distress ink. I used Walnut stain on this flower.

8. Attach it to your project.

Here's the paper bag again. I made it for Ett Trykk Magazine  03/13. You can find the tutorial in Norwegian in the magazine.

Have fun crafting!
