Getting Crafty with Note Cards!

Teaching duties will be done in less than two weeks, holy week is almost here and summer has just arrived... and so, I'm slowly getting back to my crafty mood! I have TONS of backlogs on my scrapping service, my kid's pages and last year's project life. I don't even know where to start.

I had several trips to Shoemart lately and found these cut masking tapes. I believe all SM malls carries these stash and there are so nice to play with. They are not exactly the same as washi tapes, but it's perfect for note cards. Here's what I did...

I made these for some friends and students as a little thank you for a wonderful semester. Hopefully, I have two months to work on my backlogs and just spend all my summer days in my craft room. I used here Tiger marking tapes, cardstocks, prima flowers, blings, paper twine and Technique Tuesday stamps.

I have two months away from school work and teaching... I can't wait to be CREATIVE again!

Piggy Wedding...

My cousin's wedding is coming really soon and I am just so excited for her... I was in charged of the invites! We've been planning on the design for quite some time and it was a little hard for me to put those pig faces in a formal wedding invitation. Oh well, its her wedding and she wants those PIGS! Thanks to Helga and her Wishblade for making those 4-piece cute faces.

I made the envelopes ahead of time. Then, I inked each of the 4-piece with brown fluid chalk ink and put foam tapes on each piece to create depth on the pig's face. After assembling it, I placed a pair on a round cardstock which will serve as a name tag. Accessorized with gold ribbons and finally its DONE!

TFL! Have a nice day everyone!

Cards!

Made 2 cards yesterday for donation thru Ems Foronda. I'm not really a card person, but because its for a good cause I really tried to make some. Had fun making them with my seatmate Ytet Solivet.

rush! RUSH! rush!

Just finished these invites this morning! Its so simple I guess, I just used here some pps, calling card board sheets, dv flowers, chalk inks and pigment inks, buttons and DMC thread which I used to sew each of the buttons... whew! Its finally done... I'm sure, Mom will be happy to give them to her dancing guests. I was looking for a high-heeled shoe pattern instead of the flower, but she said her guests might not come if they will know that there's dancing, they might get shy huh!? Well, whatever... basta I'm done with my first assignment!
