Ika 10

I'm back in my scraproom!

And I was just excited to finish a few hanging pages since last year. This page was almost done except for the 2021 photo, took me awhile to complete my graduation pictorial pictures here.

I started with STI College in 2011. I worked as a part time instructor for four years as I completed my masters studies. Then in 2014 second semester, I experienced my 1st full time teaching position with 27 units load. After that, I became the General Education Program Head until this day. Teaching became  a passion since then, which I learned to love through the years...

Ika 10... This page shows my annual graduation pictorial in the college department. I may have transformed my looks through the years, but what is most important to me is what I have imparted as an educator and as a  leader. I used here Bazzill white cardstock, assorted PPS, Anchor calado embroidery thread, MM mini letter/number stickers, assorted paper flowers, pearls, Thickers glittered letters and WRMK metal ornaments.

I'm on my 11th year now... and still counting!

Busy at Work!

It has been 3 months since I last made a post!

Been always busy at work... still adjusting on my new job, but still enthusiastic in teaching and learning. I only teach twice a week, which makes me excited and lets me feel relaxed. The rest of the 31 hours are for my admin work, which puts me in the learning world again.Physically exhausting but all worth my time for now.

School is on the midway now, and we were just done with the exams. 9 more weeks to survive the 1st semester!

I don't bring work at home! That leaves my weekends FREE to clean my home, be with the kids and just create. I only have a few backlogs specially on my project life. Oh life is just GREAT!

Happy weekend peeps! TFL.

Friendship!

It was a total career change for me... from being an Accounting Assistant in a government office, to a crafter-proprietor and now a Teacher! I found good friendship along the way...

Bliss... Cheers to a blissful friendship Mam Glendz! Thanks for making my first year of teaching really fruitful and meaningful. I used here DCWV pps, Provocraft pps, AC pps, cardstocks, Prima flowers, paper flowers from Bangkok, AAS pearl brad, silk flowers, glittered glue and Brillance ink. This page was inspired by a sketch.

Friends... Teacher Alleli is a great teacher, not just for Pre-schoolers but to me also, a pre-schooler by heart and mind, hahahah! I used here DCWV pps, cardstocks, button, native twine, Reeve's gold acrylic paint, ribbons, silk leaves and foamed flowers. This layout was inspired by one of my favorite sketches from my previous DTs.

My Baby Yo!... Shiela will always be a baby sister to me. The short time we've been together was like forever. I used here Dream Street pps, cardstocks, ribbons, foamed flowers, Brilliance ink and glittered glue.

Teacher Remy... She's like a big sister to me who always makes me happy and smile each day of my stay in the school. I used here Bohemian pps, Kaisercraft and MM acrylic paints, Jillibeans Soup pps, Dream Street pps, cardstocks, Prima flowers, fabric flowers, AAS brad, Maya Road and Tattered Angel glimmer mist and Brilliance ink. Just trying my hand on my old paints that's been sitting in my cabinet for years. I'm glad to play with them again!

Holy week is almost over and today is Easter Sunday! This year's Holy week celebration was a bit low, we stayed mostly at home and spent much time SCRAPPING! Well, I'm still the happiest in spite of all... made 10 pages and counting!

Have a blessed EASTER everyone, Jesus LOVES us all! Thanks for looking as always!

Party, PARTY!

We had a whole day of FUN yesterday! First part of the day was a Christmas program performed by our students and a surprise dance number by the faculty and staff of our school. I am so proud of my Grade 3 for singing and dancing the song "Bro, Ikaw ang Star ng Pasko". They all looked great on their red shirts, santa's hat and my last minute glittered stars. They were the one who picked the song to perform and choose what to wear, I was just there to make the steps and practice them every single day in two weeks. After their number, I was like a proud Mama like what I always feel when I'm with my own kids. Then afterwards, we had our homeroom party where we played, danced and ate lunch together. Seeing my students with their happy faces makes my heart happy too in spite the different challenges I am going through as a first timer teacher. This makes me like the idea of our theme for this year "Let's Make Each Day Christmas!", not just because there are lots of money, food and festivities on Christmas season but because its stress FREE! Let me share my day yesterday...

The third part was the Teachers and Staff's Christmas Party! This is the time where we can all bond and party, and forget about the tests, grades and etc, hahahah! I was part of the managing committee of yesterday's event and I was happy I was able to help in a little way that I know.

I am not a PINK person, but I think I am starting to like it... hehehe! Thanks for looking peeps!

Our Room...

Just the thought of having my own classroom EXCITES me! I am now the homeroom adviser of SBIS' Grade 3-Rosemary. Making our little room like my own house and playing, eating and studying with the kids keep my daily routine both fun and challenging. I am enjoying my new role as a teacher, but still I have a little regret on being away from my own kids for 8 hours. Oh well, this is life!

Here's what I did during my sembreak... I made our daily activity board, classroom officers, bulletin board and a couple of slogans.I used cartolinas, illustration boards, plastic covers, cardstocks for my letters, gift wrappers and patterned papers for the embies and Tattered Angel glimmer mist. I'm still doing our birthday fiesta and getting ready for Christmas. Still have a lot of plans for our little home in school, I just hope I have the mojo and power to do them all.

Its raining almost everyday and the kids are down with colds. Hope they will be fine by next week. Thanks for looking again!
